I’m putting my house on the market and needed a (very) quick fix to a drippy shower head. The reviews for Atomic Plumbing on the Nextdoor app were excellent, so I gave them a call. They were able to accommodate me very quickly and sent Ryan out to troubleshoot the problem. He was knowledgeable, he was fast, he was friendly, and after learning I was selling my house, he went above and beyond. He knows how to coax older plumbing fixtures into operating order (just call him the pipe whisperer), he knows the building code inside and out (he pointed out several issues a home inspector might incorrectly flag and armed me with documentation with which to counter) and he repaired several small problems I was unaware of - a big help when you want your home to be welcoming to new owners.The company is great to work with and Ryan is a Master Plumber who really embodies the title. They should really consider cloning him.

Water dripping from ceiling, called 3 plumbing companies no response. Call Harrison “Jimmy” answered said he could be there in less than 2 hours. Showed up fixed the problem. It turns out he is the owner!!! Wow what great service

Edit: Repeat customer! Replacement of wax ring and resetting of a second toilet to fix a sneaky leak was quickly and expertly done. Our tech, Brian, was professional and courteous, returning in deteriorating weather later the same day to repair a leak that was inconsistent in its presentation, and Tricia, in the office was so understanding and delightful. Service was very reasonably priced too. Wouldn't call anywhere for plumbing issues.

Analysis of, and repair/replacement of leaking toilet was accomplished in less than 48 hours. Our service tech, Ricky Rivers, was excellent! they were easy to get in touch with and personable however, i paid for a clog to be cleared and in clearing the original clog another was caused that didn’t exist prior to having them come out. i’m sure overall bay breeze does good work but i was unhappy with the work i received.

edit: they did come to my house. the tech was named justin and i spoke to robin on the phone. i have the charge on my account for bay breeze plumbing. 🙂

Benjamin came out and diagnosed the problem fast and accurately, and within an hour had everything taken care of.

I called for a leaky sink and toilet. Two Plumbers arrived within two hours. they looked at toilet, changed the flapper and told me I should go to home depot and buy a flushmaster or something and looked at the sink and said i should buy new faucets for the sink as well. He actually made the sink worst playing with the handle. they push the float ball in the toilet down so that the water does not come up to level anymore so I am only getting half the water when flushing now. I called a real plumber to get this stuff fixed and all i got was a speech to go buy it myself an a $207.00 bill. They were here for 35 minutes, 10 changing that flapper, 10 sitting on my porch and 15 in their truck before they came in with the bill. I may call 10 on your side because I feel robbed. I will never use A1 again.....UPDATE.... The manager reached out to me and sent another plumber yesterday who was very nice and more important actually fixed my sink and toilet. I was charged another 128.50 for a now total of $336.00. that seems a bit expensive to me but I guess 200 dollars an hour is the going rate for plumbers. I appreciate the manager reaching out to me after the first review and getting someone there to actually fix my issues. I am happy with the work, but at 336 dollars I think the next time I will get with youtube and get my hands dirty.

American Mechanical, Inc. came to my apartment looking for a leak on my water service. Because of my extremely high water bill. They determined that there is no leak and that the Portsmouth,Va. Water meter is faulty. The meter is charging me for 456.256 gallons of water for every 5 gallons actually used.Thanks again American Mechanical for helping me determine the problem.

They came out and replaced my water heater and did an amazing job!! Very good pricing and professional!!

Friendly, professional, and effective!Kitchen drain line was clogged downstream of the u-bend beyond what I could reach with my DIY abilities. Called RR, and they got a technician out the same night. Dave was easy to interact with and quickly got to work correcting the problem. An hour and some piping modifications later and the drain practically vacuums out the sink now.
