Deanna helped me place my service call. She was well educated, professional, and upbeat. She told me Jimmy would be my technician and he is very good at his job. Sure enough, she called me the day of to update me that they are working as diligently as possible and they still had me as a priority on their schedule. Mylissa called me to inform me Jimmy was on his way and i should be expecting him within the hour. He arrived 40 minutes later, wore booties when working inside, and made me feel very confident he knew what he was doing. He was personable, friendly, and did a great job,leaving the area as clean as when he first arrived.

I have 100% belief in this company. I needed three projects at my condo: kitchen renovation, replace hot water heater & drain pan, and change & relocate the outside deck faucet. Steve came in reviewed all three, gave me a very reasonable quote which I agreed to and in a couple of days came and completed all three projects in one day. There was cooper as well as pex piping and he can do it all. Very nice guy who comes in does the job keeping the project areas clean and tests everything before signing off. Highly recommend this company.

The service is great. The people are are too. Scheduling is great also. But it’s gonna hit you in the pockets a little bit. But you get what you pay for.

Robin at Baybreeze made a shocking number of mistakes when hired to fix an exterior gas leak, dragging out what should have been done in 3 days to a full 3 weeks.

After ‘fixing’ the leak the first time, we learned from the city that his work failed inspection, and the lines were still leaking. After ‘fixing’ it a second time, VBG turned our gas back on, but the technician discovered an uncapped line spilling out beneath our deck. Had the technician not caught this and corrected Robin’s negligence, the consequences could have easily been catastrophic for us.

After coming out a third time, the leaks were finally fixed and the lines capped, but he proceeded to install a valve he’d removed earlier for no clear reason (it wasn’t the one leaking) in the wrong spot, and we ended up once again with gas cut off to our gas pack furnace, and our tankless water heater.

After all of this was finally settled, he proceeded to overcharge us by about $250 above what we’d agreed upon, citing the cost of a second pressure test (a test that would not have been necessary had he simply done his job right the first, or even second time around).

Robin was full of excuses at every turn, but all in all, based on my experience he and his company did not demonstrate the competence or reliability necessary to safely work on natural gas. I feel he left my home and my family at risk, and I cannot recommend that anyone hire him in the future.

My plumbing keep backing up. I tried everything to unclog it myself before calling in the professional and everything I tried failed. I had no choice but to call Roto Rooter for professional help. Mr. DJ saved the day.Thanks,Bruce

10/10 would recommend! I called them up frantically about my washer drain pipe overfilling and spraying out water, they responded and came down the same day. Turns out my house being older had some very old piping. We just bought a new washer and the pipe couldn’t handle the water pressure. They ended up having to replace all the pipes under the house except for the sewer line because that’s another can of worms. They came back within 2 days, made the repairs all same day and had me ready to go so I could do laundry in no time! I had been without it for nearly 2 weeks. We were going to go through our home warranty but the company they sent was taking too long to respond. They were great, fast, professional, very responsive and efficient! It’s been a week and we’re still doing good! Also the explanation of everything was fantastic and they show you what is wrong before and after!

Update: as you can read from my previous reviews, not happy with this company at all. And, it turns out I was further justified. Recently had a great service call with Mechanical Technology. This group is not an hvac dealer nor do they try to sell you a new system.Anyway, first my previous reviews American Mechanical, I really messed up my upstairs system by claiming that I need a new system or that I need a new switchboard for my split system in the upstairs of my home. Mechanical Technology came in and troubleshot the system , found that I needed a new part, small part, got it all back up and working for a minimum cost after being without the split system feature since American Mechanical had disconnected itUpdate: Long time School teacher here. Gave them 2 Assignments and they earned 2 FAILING GRADES07/19/22 - do not trust : part 1 - had a rental property I had a service contract with the this company was supposed to come out twice a year. they have not been out in over 16 months so I called to cancel and they charged me for the remaining 10 months of this existing contract that they renewed without any notification....even though they have not fulfilled their part of the agreement which was twice a year service.part 2 on my home address they wanted to sell me a whole new system even though I already had a train system that was only four years old. Ended up having a company that does not sell the equipment but services air conditioners come out and it was simply a $15 part they need to be replaced.Original post;As a longtime Virginia Beach High School teacher i would have to grade them with the comment not quality work. I had this company out in to take a look at my system.. They did help drain a clogged drain pipe. Then they fumbled around with the air handler wiring for quite some time suggesting that it was not wired properly...made many adjustments(all good). My issue is that the next time the A/C kicked on the air handler shorted out! (thinking must be do to the wiring change). So they send another technician out. He says the same thing wiring all messed up so he messes with the same wiring the other tech, from same company, previously messed with. he can't figure out what caused the fuse to blow so he tells me my split system board must be bad and disconnects. Now i have no split system and no clue where we left the wiring as they want to charge me to replace much. System only 3 years old. Bottom line! = they left it in worse shape than they found it.!!!!

Cost $225 per hour, plus cost of materials. I should have been a plumber.

A++ person and A++ work. What more could a homeowner hope for?
