I have finally found a handyman service that I feel comfortable with. Zack actually arrived early to perform the work. He repaired some drywall in my master bathroom and installed kitchen cabinet doors for me. He was professional and friendly. He did amazing work, and I would recommend this company to anyone that seeks great service for a reasonable price.

Only person willing to come out on a Sunday afternoon to fix a mystery leak coming from a light fixture in our kitchen ceiling. He immediately pinpointed the problem (hot water line rubbing on the can light fixture mounted to the joist), and was able to get our water back on in very little time. Highly recommended!

Approximately 3 days ago I arrived at my home after driving 9hrs at around 3am to find that I had a massive leak that I later learned was my supply line. Never having had to deal with this before, I obviously freaked out and got the water turned off. Later that morning after calling multiple plumbers local to the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area I had one come out from a different company (NOT MR. ROOTER) that immediately wanted to charge me $3.5k just to break up concrete and look for the leak. He did not turn the water on, or so much as shine a flashlight on the area I said water was coming from. The next company wanted me to do leak detection through a 3rd party first and then have them do the repair, the leak detection was quoted to be about $500, most other places charge much less.

This is significant because Mr. Zhane Albrecht from Mr. Rooter not only found the leak that was actually located above ground, but explained to me how the damage occurred, why it occurred and how he was going to fix it. This guy is the walking epitome of customer service and satisfaction, he wasn't pushy and you could tell he was advising on matters as if it were his own home which speaks volumes to his character as a professional that cares about people.

Rarely is it ever a good circumstance to have to call out a plumber, but through the unfortunate issue I had, I was thankful I had somebody knowledgeable and honest enough to see me through to the other side WITHOUT trying to rake me over the coals. Thanks Zhane, you're the man!

A++ person and A++ work. What more could a homeowner hope for?

My dad shut the main water line off, TRYING to fix an issue in the bathroom, and he couldn't get the water back on. He fixed the issue in the bathroom and the main water wouldn't turn on. The knob kept turning and turning but we couldn't get the water back on. I called several other plumbing companies and was told it would be at least a $125 service fee. My dad didn't want to pay such a high service fee because he knew he'd need a new water valve. Since this was the main water line he thought it would be at least a couple grand. Imagine our surprise when Jason walked in, told him what the issue was and the quote was $380. All I could do was HAPPY DANCE. We hadn't had water since 9a.m., here it was 630pm and Jason was the answer to an all day issue. He was done in less than an hour. I would highly recommend rotorooter to anyone. We called at 5pm, told the tech our issue and she said he would arrive within 4 hrs...an hr and a half later he showed up knocked the job out and we had water.....oh yeah and there was NO SERVICE FEE.

Todd was friendly and professional. He set an appointment and called me when he was on his way. He respected my home by using drop cloths to protect the floors and wiping his feet on the outside mat each time he came inside. Todd has a vast knowledge and he educated this first time home owner on a few plumbing and heating areas. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. This company is local and I couldn't ask for any better service. When I called they actually answered the phone and scheduled me right away. The owner and another guy came to do the job and I had a ton of stuff to ask about the plumbing in my 1962 home. They fixed the washing machine backup into my kitchen sink without any problems. I asked if they could give me an estimate on replacing my main line and rerouting my pipes since I live on a slab and they measured everything and gave me an estimate right then. I was shocked, I kept saying they didn't have to do it right now but they assured me it wouldn't take long at all. I was very impressed with their willingness to help me find a solution, the price of the estimate and the price for this service call. I won't ever have to search for another plumber because they are the best in my opinion.
