Of course I am gonna rate 5 stars. This is a family business. (My family) 3 generations could be working on the same job. And mrs. Dodd answers the phone. Mr. Dodd (my dad) has been doing hvac, electric, plumbing and gas fitting for more years than I have been alive. I have worked for the family forever now my son is working. A true family business. We must be doing something right because we have had the same customers for years, now we take care of their children and even a few grand children. Although we do advertise a bit, referrals is how most people hear about us. Maybe we get so many referrals because we not only enjoy our customers but we are greatful to be asked to come in your homes and help remedy your problems.

Z-Line did great work at my house in Norfolk. He was very responsive and worked with me through lots of challenges. I had a big list of items from a home inspection, and he helped me prioritize and get everything taken care of. Quality work and great communication!

Dom did a great job. Found the problem fast and got us fixed in under an hour. Explained everything clearly and answered questions as well.

Our entire sewage line needed replaced. Mark did an excellent job working around our schedule to get the job done. He left the areas he worked in better condition than when he arrived! Too bad I can’t recommend a 6th star for going above and beyond

Gregory S. Was the tech who came to unclog the main line from my house to the city sewer line. He made quick work of it, cleaned up neatly and was courteous, professional and informative. He took the time to explain why I had the problem and what I could do to avoid problems like that in the future. Greg explained the pricing which was reasonable and I felt like i was being looked out for. No business is any good if the people are not great and Greg is great, so my experience with A1 was great.

Have used many times in the past, before covid. Have called for service three times now, each time no one has called me back. Each time was an plumbing emergency. I guess if I had purchased the over priced service contract, someone would have responded.

Roto-Rooter and their tech Robert were PHENOMENAL!! Called around 330, here by 5 and done by 7! I can't believe we waited and tried to fix it ourselves instead of calling the pros! We spent more money on renting snakes and buying drain uncloggers than we did on the actual service. I will forever be a customer for all my plumbing needs and will be recommending not only Roto-Rooter but Robert as well to everyone I know. Robert was absolutely amazing and so very friendly, informative and awesome at what he does. Don't wait like we did, do yourself a favor and call them first!!!

Great experience; 2d time we have used Tony. Both times have been great. Very personable and followed up an hour or two after the work was done (replaced an electric hot water) to make sure everything was working as expected. Highly recommend.

Amazing service. Had a broken pipe next to the water meter. After another company said they can’t fix it till 5 days later, these guys came on Saturday at 8 am in the cold and dug for almost 6 hours and fixed it.

I called this company out to fix a clog somewhere in my system the water from the upstairs toilet and shower was flowing into the downstairs toilet and shower causing an overflow. They ran the equipment through the pipe and said that the problem was fixed. They asked me to flush the toilet in my bedroom to see if it was running smoothly. The toilet did not run over.

Now, the way that this problem was discovered is my 30 y.o son came to visit, 2 months later, and used the upstairs shower and the sa.e problem occurs. I don't go upstairs because of back issues, so I would not have discovered there was still an issue. Mind you, no one ever came into the house to check out the issue to make sure it was repaired, even when I asked someone to check it. I called today and the receptionist/scheduler tells me the repair is out of warranty and I will have to pay another $150.
What bothers me the most is that this company advertises tas believers, but does not stand by their work. Would Jesus want us to treat our fellow man this way? I don't think so. Jesus would ask that we do all work as unto God and to right our wrongs. Hence, if the problem still exists, it was never fixed!
