Were at the house within 2 hours and changed both hoses out (only one was leaking - the tech explained it would be best to change both at once to avoid spending more later). 30 - 40 minutes later, my water heater was working better than it was before. With her pleasant manner, she does a thorough job getting detailed information about the HVAC problem. When Mr. Dodd arrives, he has a base of information to assess the problem. He then prepares a detailed work order including the material needed to complete the job, the amount of time to complete the job, and the cost.

Our latest plumbing problem had the team arrive, check the type of water heater needed, and locate where the water heater was in the house. The Dodd team was back in a short period of time. They removed the old water heater, installed the new water heater, and hauled the old water heater away. From start to finish, the job was completed in a timely fashion.

When Mr. Dodd left to purchase a new water heater, he could have easily stopped at a nearby Big Box store. Instead, he went to a wholesaler and purchased a higher quality water heater at a much lower price.

Terry was great. We had an old downdraft range that we were replacing with a new one that does not require a downdraft. He removed it and patched up the vent and placed the new range. He walked us through everything that he was going to do and made sure he got our approval. It looks and works terrific. I would recommend this company and definitely will use their service again, very friendly and knowledgeable.

Sean responded to my call at 1045 pm and was at my house by 1115 pm. Stayed until the job was done. Cleaned up his mess and was polite the entire time. I will recommend him to my friends and use him again.

The service is great. The people are are too. Scheduling is great also. But it’s gonna hit you in the pockets a little bit. But you get what you pay for.

Mike and Tony worked on my home's plumbing over a 2 day, 4 hour period. They worked through a difficult issue to clear a pair of conjoined drain pipes and fix leaks I've dealt with for years. They where on time, quick (but did the job right), and very courteous. Mike offered options for me, and communicated what was needed and what was going to happen before the job started, which I really appreciated. I will absolutely use A1 in the future and I feel I can trust them moving forward.

I called for AC service and expected it to take a while with the recent heat we have had. I received a callback within an hour. They had someone on site within 4-5 hours. My AC was back up and at a very fair price. I had them back a few days later to install several electrical outlets. I would highly recommend Colonial home services.

I called for multiple issues with plumbing on a rental. The company had four in total trips to the home. They drilled a hole through a wall and never fixed and I had failed an inspection because the inspector indicated they placed combustible materials around a gas vented system. After many attempts to reach them there was no response. They want the money but do not want to put in the work correctly. I will use a company with more experience to get it done right the first time.
