Of course I am gonna rate 5 stars. This is a family business. (My family) 3 generations could be working on the same job. And mrs. Dodd answers the phone. Mr. Dodd (my dad) has been doing hvac, electric, plumbing and gas fitting for more years than I have been alive. I have worked for the family forever now my son is working. A true family business. We must be doing something right because we have had the same customers for years, now we take care of their children and even a few grand children. Although we do advertise a bit, referrals is how most people hear about us. Maybe we get so many referrals because we not only enjoy our customers but we are greatful to be asked to come in your homes and help remedy your problems.

Michael was fast, efficient, and did an incredible job getting my storm door fitted into my door frame. Very knowledgeable and walked me step by step what he was doing. Will absolutely use his help again!

Even after multiple visits, Guy Smith has been unable to get my Trane system to cool the upstairs and run on a schedule. When they changed the thermostat in May, instead of using the Trane clips to remove the thermostat from the wall, they just ripped it out by the drywall anchors. I didn't discover this until after they had left, or I would have addressed with the technician who did it. I can provide a picture as well, and of course, I was charged for the appointment. The technicians are always on time, and professional.

Prompt service. Polite employees and agreeable prices. The technicians took care to place tarps to protect our carpets as well as to explain what they were doing during each step. The repair was done efficiently and the technicians took considerable care to clean up. We will definitely recommend to both family and friends.

Patrick Glenn was extremely thorough and polite. He explained to me what all needs work to repair my hot water line and that there will be a need for continuation due to the super tight spaces and he needed a second tech to help out. We reached out to Colonial Home Services for a few projects at our house, such as installing new electric outlets and replacing a ceiling light with a fan. They came out to give us an estimate and afterwards set up another appointment to get the job done. They showed up on time, the price was exactly what they said it would be and they were all really professional and knowledgeable, plus friendly and tidy. They addressed all our concerns and even helped us figure out some issues with the light switches that didn't match the outlets. We'd definitely hire Colonial Home Services again. Super fast and affordable electrical service.

Very prompt, arrived on time, and took care of my issue. However, the tech himself was not very clean. He removed the clog in my drain, but left disgusting black water and goop all over my wall and floor. He also said I may want to replace my piping, but offered no solution for it. It may have just been the plumber, but from this experience, I wouldn't recommend this company.
