About 3 weeks ago my heat pump went out, and I called A-1 American they never showed and needless to say it was freezing/snowing at the time. I guess they were too busy making commercials and useless magnets for the yellow pages After 48 hours of hearing nothing from A-1 I did an internet search and found Tidewater Plumbing & Heating, the owner Mr. Martin had his son in law Morris over in less than an hour. My heat pump was sparking and the compressor was totally shot. Morris was able to stop the heat pump from sparking and causing a potential fire. I had a gas line, but it was never connected to the home. Mr. Martin advised me on the price, and how long the job would take. When it came time for them to do the job, it was exactly as described. He came with his son-in-law, and son. They were quick and efficient, they did not leave a mess on my property. This is a family business with honest people, Mr. Martin did not add any hidden fees or surprises as many companies do. The unit was of quality and started right up. If i'm going to spend my hard earned money I want quality work/product. I definitely recommend Tidewater Plumbing & Heating they are honest people who do quality work.

Called and left a message no return call. Called again the next day, still no return call on an emergency that needed fixed. Business couldn't give the courtesy to place a call back even if they were to busy, a call back would've been great. I'd go elsewhere

Mike was early and very professional. He took pictures, found the leak under our house (after a $700 water bill) and repaired it. Took roughly 30 minutes. Cost was way better than we expected. Top notch.

I had a gas leak in my hot water heater line and called the gas company at the smell of gas. A worked from Virginia Natural gas come to my home, detected the leak and red ragged my meter. That's when I called Discount Plumbing and was assigned Mike. Mike arrived a my home the same day I called and in a timely fashion. He was knowledgeable, professional and knew his trade. He quickly repaired the leak and set my gas lines up for a pressure test. He explained the process of obtaining a permit and having the city inspector come to my home. All of the paperwork was completed by Discount Plumbing on their end and I had my hot water turned on after only 2 days. I would recommend Discount Plumbing to anyone and I plan on using them again should I need plumbing services in the future.

Best plumber in the world. Cared about the animals at our rescue. Made sure our water geyser level emergency was fixed as fast as possible!

The two plumbing technicians were fantastic. They practiced great safety during these difficult times of disease and provided expert help, even decreasing the price once they discovered the true nature of our plumbing problem. They were beautiful human beings who showed much respect for us and our space. I would recommend them to anyone!

The service is great. The people are are too. Scheduling is great also. But it’s gonna hit you in the pockets a little bit. But you get what you pay for.

Barbara an employee of this company lacks ethics and customer services skills. She yelled at my husband and I on the phone and hung up on me. The company lacks communication. I received a call confirming my initial appointment.
I called back and confirmed. I got a call again the next day confirming the appointment to deliver the dishwasher. I was surprised because I had confirmed already. I called again. The person I talked to did not get my first confirmation.

Expected him to say YES MAAM I guess. He maintained his cool. Asked for the initial appnt that was confirmed TWICE she said it wasn’t available ANYMORE! He gave me the msg. I called . BARBARA yelled At me and hung up on me!! Expected me NOT to Express frustration or NOTHING. I said you cannot just change a twice confirmed appointment!!! I got things to do and made myself available for the first time frame!! She hung up on me. I called back. I asked her why she hung up on me. So funny.She said she wasn’t gonna have me yell at her. It is okay for HER to yell at customers but they can’t yell back or even say a word!!! I said you yelled At me the entire CALL you don’t expect me to YELL back! This company lack communications With each other and BARBARA needs to be FIRED!! Horrible communication skills, work ethics and hella arrogant with customers. She is NOT paying us for services .. she is getting paid to deliver services!! FIRE HER.

Johnny is one of the best plumbers out there. He is quick. Excellent quality work. I use him for my house and rental.
