Randy was on time and very friendly. He came in and surveyed the problem. We discussed two possible solutions (replacing the kitchen faucet with a unit I had purchased a while ago or having him replace the faucet with one of the new Delta faucets where the spray handle retracts into the faucet.) I decided on the second option. He let me know he didn't have one on the truck and would have to get one. He told me how long it would take to get one. I still had the option to switch back to my existing set, but the amount of time was reasonable, and the added cost to upgrade to the nicer faucet was fairly close to how much I had researched to be the cost of that faucet. Randy was finished in a very reasonable amount of time. He brought rugs to put down so that he wouldn't get my floor dirty. He cleaned up after himself, and was very professional. I would be pleased to have him come back and do plumbing in my house again, should it be necessary. I have a 5 year warranty on my new faucet.

Michael Green was the contractor hired for our Sheetrock repair. He quoted a fair price from the start. As he walked around the house he found additional points of concern and fixed them as well with no additional costs. His work is of good quality and I would recommend him to friends and family.
One lasting touch, was his request to adjust our front door,as it was catching on the top left portion. He fixes it says thanks for the opportunity for business and leaves the job site.

I have been a commercial tin knocker for 12 years before joining the military. Apparently the free money from the government wasn't enough, Guy Smith also wanted to snatch money from an 82 year old wheelchair bound senior. It is questionable whether the condenser (outside) and air handler (in attic)both had to be replaced. Nothing has ever been stored in the attic. Nobody ever goes up there. And as a ductman, I know not to walk or step on duct. Seems like more air is coming out of the connections he tied into than what would enter the house. The unit also cycles almost every 9 minutes like clockwork. At least the time I have visited here. I wish I had checked the work sooner but unfortunately not able to. I could not in good conscience leave anyone, much less a wheelchair bound senior with half a55 work. Also they left all the trash in the attic, the pieces of particle ductboard they cut away, the rolls of tape cardboard (looks like white webbing strap, definitely not aluminum to seal the connections), and pieces of piping. I don't understand why they didn't put the wires in a junction box or at a minimum cover with electrical tape, but with all that old attic dust and loose insulation, perhaps they figure an electrical fire would be more efficient to heat the house. I also do not see any signs of new aluminum tape near where the unit was installed, probably why you can feel air leaking out the bottom of it. I guess spending almost $9000 doesn't warrant proper use of sealers and tapes and replacing duct they crush. It definitely didn't cover $3.99 for a roll of electrical tape. I am going to contact the city and show them the wiring and file a BBB complaint for my father. Also, no reason whatsoever for a unit swap to cost that much, maybe before shortages, but this was done summer of 21 before installers started increasing costs. I can still get unit now with higher seer rating and smart thermostat and installed under what was charged.Edit. After contacting office, they had a tech call. They showed up next day. I asked for owner, but don't think I ever spoke to them. Based on pics and phone conversation with the tech it sounds like the problem was remedied. Also their reps seemed to agree that no excuse for condition of the job, but what would have happened if unnoticed. I have not personally seen the repair, but I do intend to check behind their repair. They have tried to fix it, only time will tell how things will adjust. The 9 minute cycling has reduced a lot. From 0 to 3 star, based on great follow up. Will reassess when I can see final product.

We had two toilets stopped up with water backed up in the showers. We called the city to clean the lines and they said that it needed a plumber. We called Allday Plumbing and they sent Raymond. He took a couple of minutes and said “Those young guns from the city didn’t know what they were doing. You have an older house and your line is out back. Call them again in the morning and tell them”. Long story short is that the city came and cleared the line (from the backyard) and it was free of charge! How often do you find a company willing to do the right thing instead of taking your money when they know it’s an easy fix! I highly recommend these guys! Thanks again Raymond!

MAKE MR. ROOTER YOUR FIRST CALL!!!
Approximately 3 days ago I arrived at my home after driving 9hrs at around 3am to find that I had a massive leak that I later learned was my supply line. Never having had to deal with this before, I obviously freaked out and got the water turned off. Later that morning after calling multiple plumbers local to the Norfolk and Virginia Beach area I had one come out from a different company (NOT MR. ROOTER) that immediately wanted to charge me $3.5k just to break up concrete and look for the leak. He did not turn the water on, or so much as shine a flashlight on the area I said water was coming from. The next company wanted me to do leak detection through a 3rd party first and then have them do the repair, the leak detection was quoted to be about $500, most other places charge much less.

This is significant because Mr. Zhane Albrecht from Mr. Rooter not only found the leak that was actually located above ground, but explained to me how the damage occurred, why it occurred and how he was going to fix it. This guy is the walking epitome of customer service and satisfaction, he wasn't pushy and you could tell he was advising on matters as if it were his own home which speaks volumes to his character as a professional that cares about people.

Rarely is it ever a good circumstance to have to call out a plumber, but through the unfortunate issue I had, I was thankful I had somebody knowledgeable and honest enough to see me through to the other side WITHOUT trying to rake me over the coals. Thanks Zhane, you're the man!
