We contracted Michael Green from Accent Home Improvement Repairs for roof repairs due to a leak that was occurring in our master bedroom. He arrived on time daily, he communicated with us every step of the way and he produced an excellent finished product in a timely manner. We have used Mr. Dodd for over 30 years because we can always rely on excellent service. He has completed several HVAC jobs for us during that time. When you call James Dodd Heating Cooling and Plumbing, the phone is answered by his wife Carolyn. With her pleasant manner, she does a thorough job getting detailed information about the HVAC problem. When Mr. Dodd arrives, he has a base of information to assess the problem. He then prepares a detailed work order including the material needed to complete the job, the amount of time to complete the job, and the cost.

Over the years, Mr. Dodd has replaced an entire HVAC system in an older house we owned, completed a tune-up on an existing system (several times), replaced just a part of an HVAC system rather than the whole system, and this week, replaced a gas hot water heater for our home.

Several years ago, Mr. Dodd hired his grandson as an assistant. The two work as a great team. So, when you call Dodd Heating Cooling and Plumbing, the same team arrives to do the job every time.

Our latest plumbing problem had the team arrive, check the type of water heater needed, and locate where the water heater was in the house. The Dodd team was back in a short period of time. They removed the old water heater, installed the new water heater, and hauled the old water heater away. From start to finish, the job was completed in a timely fashion.

When Mr. Dodd left to purchase a new water heater, he could have easily stopped at a nearby Big Box store. Instead, he went to a wholesaler and purchased a higher quality water heater at a much lower price.

Prompt service. Polite employees and agreeable prices. The technicians took care to place tarps to protect our carpets as well as to explain what they were doing during each step. The repair was done efficiently and the technicians took considerable care to clean up. We will definitely recommend to both family and friends.

I hired this company to re-plumb my house after several leaks with Quest (polybutylene) piping, which was discontinued in the 90s due to the fact it fails after ~10-20 years. The company completely destroyed my house, much more than was necessary to replace the plumbing. I found damaged electrical cables from where they cut down drywall, which they didn't bring to my attention, and could have caused an unsafe condition in my home if left unnoticed. I also had to replace a ventilation duct that got damaged when they took down the drywall. The drywall contractor, who had done several replumb jobs, and is friends with one of my friends, said they were ruthless and it's the worst he's ever seen. Instead of making nice, clean cuts, so the drywall could be re-used and mounted to structural supports, they just hacked away haphazardly. All the cuts had to be cleaned up before putting new drywall in. There were locations that didn't house any joints, that had pre-existing openings that could have been used to route a pipe through, but instead they took all the drywall down. For example, the half bath ceiling was completely destroyed, even though there was a pre-existing hole for the exhaust fan, and holes in adjacent rooms where water damage had already occurred. It would have been easy to just route the pipe through without taking out any more drywall. I could've done it myself without totally destroying the bathroom, and I'm not even a professional.In addition, I was told the work would be done on that Friday. Before I went to work, I dropped my dog off at the house and left her in her crate in the bedroom expecting to move back into the house that night. I told the crew I was planning on moving back in, and if they had any problems getting the job done to call my work number, which I gave them. I was working second shift, and got home close to midnight to find the work was still not done, the water was still off, the toilets weren't hooked up, and someone pooped in one of my toilets which I had no way to flush. The smell was awful. Nothing was cleaned up and I had to wear boots through my house due to all the debris, which presented a safety risk to my dog. I also had to work the next day, couldn't take a shower, and it was too late to contact a friend to go stay at their house. They made no attempt to contact me. The manager took about $100 off the cost of the whole job, which totaled over $10,000, which is negligible compared to the inconvenience, the destruction, and the way they treated my home.I also had to have them come back out after they finished the work because my master shower was leaking into my living room, after they re-did all the plumbing. The guy who came back out to fix it was nice and respectful and had more experience than the crew that did my house. It seemed he got overworked and not treated well because he does a good job. This is not the way to run a company.

Mr. Peters came out to fix a leak by my hot water heater and he did an excellent job. I had a few other plumbing issues as well and he was very knowledgeable and able to easily and quickly diagnose everything that I asked him about. Very friendly service and the price was better than I expected.

Run, don't call. The plumber sent out did not know the system, and the cost was 3 times as much as it should have been. Then the plumbing part failed within 60 days, and it was returned to the warehouse where the owner got a refund for the bad part. This was verified from the manufacture. The owner promised a refund and to adjust my bill. Never happened. He is still promising to return the money he pocketed from the manufacture after 5 months. I called in another plumber to repair my issue after waiting weeks for Blessings. Having an answering service is not customer service. Stay away.

These guys are super professional and on point. Fixed my A/C in no time and very reasonable on price. Would definitely recommend colonial.

Highly recommend Bertolino plumbing have done multiple jobs for me from removing a stubborn clog to a large diagnostic problem which they figured out was old pipes that needed to be replaced. They are quick to schedule a visit. I have only waited a day before the scheduled visit. Professional, good quality and value. They figure out the problem and work until the problem is resolved.
