When you call for one thing, get your estimates, make your choice, and then it turns out to be worse than you thought, you always fear that you could be taken advantage of. The price for the expanded job seemed fair and in line with the other work.

It seems the contractors the previous owners hired cheaped out when converting a garage to the master suite: They left the old tarpaper drain (good enough for the utility sink) through the foundation, with PVC on each side. Of course roots got in and hung up the TP. EDP had to pull up floor tile inside, pull up brick pavers outside, and cut the old drain out of the foundation to replace it. They did the job pretty quickly, with as little moved as possible, and here's the kicker: They put their decal on the new PVC that will only ever be seen again if they screwed it up. That shows a level of confidence in their work that encourages me to call them next time there's a problem.

Mark worked 16 hours and then got my call for a leaking toilet; he was efficient and neat, but most of all he was kind to me. I was devastated by the water leak. The whole team felt my frustration and even their wives empathized with me. Tim followed up with a courtesy call to check on my well being. I trust this team with my whole heart.
