Matteo Rizzolo did a fantastic job clearing the water line of roots and getting submerged water heaters back on. Matteo was highly experienced, professional, and hardworking. O'Grady's pressurized hydro cleaner busted through the roots when a competitor's standard rooter would not do the job. I highly recommend Matteo and O'Grady Plumbing!

I had to call a plumber and because it was right around the holidays many people were booked. Another plumber recommended Ace to me. I had a legal hearing the next day and my toilet had massively flooded. I was a wreck. I spoke to the lovely receptionist I think her name was Phyllis. Within minutes she called me back and said the Owner Jonathan would come help me. He unclogged my toilet and took a look at my shower that was not draining properly. He did not know I had the shower issue so did not have the room to fix it that day but he helped my emergency. The next day he came sent out his assistants Esraban and Joel to clear the drains and it was determined the toilet was broken. It was a bad clog that was because something had fallen in and was badly lodged.

When they came back to fix it it was NYE. Because of the holiday Esteban and Joel went to three stores to find a toilet. They had to get a manager friend to assist them to get a toilet even though it was closing. They fixed the toilet nicely and were very kind. A few days earlier there was a leak in the building. The PUC turned off the water and did not tell anyone. They determined the issue. Because everyone was on vacation and we did not know the status of the leak there was a delay in turning on the water but they locked all of the issues and days later came to restore the water. It has been a crazy situation. I did not know why when the water was turned off it was only the hot water so all I had was cold. They troubleshooted everything quirkily and professionally. I would recommend this company to anyone they really helped me when I needed it! I am so grateful!!’

Our gutter downspouts & the drainfields for each were very clogged with years of tree needles etc. We tried diligently to clean & hose them out ,usually in a rain storm with water running on our patios & decks. Plumbers really had no options & then we called Roto- Rooter. Farid arrived timly, explained the process & his specialized equipment , took downspouts off ,cleaned them, jet sprayed the drainfields ,put all back together & fully cleaned up the mess. I recommend Farid & this service with my highest recommendation & we are already advising friends & real estate agents that we work with, of the service, as I'm sure it is a common problem in the northwest. Farid was courteous , polite, prompt & professional. Finally, the costs for the job were very reasonable given the result of solving the hassle of dealing with the issue. I contacted J Drains based on the referral of a friend. I called and the voice mailbox was full, but within 20 minutes I received a call back from Jason, the owner. I walked him through my problem (sewer was backing up at the clean-out on the property line). He discussed several remedial strategies based on listening to my assessment, where his price estimate was better than competitors by several hundred dollars. He then also said based on where it is - sewer backed up to the street - you should contact the City [of San Jose], they will likely come out and deal with this for you for free. He was shocked that other plumbers I'd called *hadn't bothered to inform me of that option*. Jason was 100% right; I called the city, and they sent a truck out 20 minutes later and cleared the problem right up. Cost to me - $0 (included in my municipal taxes). I know where I'll be turning for my future plumbing needs and advice. Thank you, Jason & co.!
