Best Plumbing Fixture in San Francisco CA

Had a huge water bill so I called to have leak detection service. They were fast and courteous. Didn’t find a cause showed me confirmation that nothing was leaking. They were very professional

Isaac is phenomenal. I had a gas line issue for over 2 weeks, with multiple technicians out from PG&E, and he resolved what they couldn't in 30 minutes.

He was professional, informative, and incredibly thorough in his work. I can not recommend Isaac and J&J's services enough.

Likewise, the communication and coordination leading up to the visit was impeccable. Easily the best interaction I've ever had in the profession.

We had a gas leak on the hot water heater on a Sunday and we were so happy Ace was able to fit us in, same-day. The phone dispatcher was great as was the repairmen who did the work.

5/2022 We had Ace come out again to replace some hose bib handles and toilet supply line valves. Russ, the plumber, was great: very polite, personable, and did excellent work. Couldn't ask for more.

Showed up as promised, they were efficient, friendly, and went above and beyond. Did good work and were respectful of my home. Not cheap, but when is plumbing cheap? I will use them again (but hope I don't need to!)

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

I recently used this plumber service and I am thoroughly impressed. The plumber was prompt, courteous, and successfully fixed the plumbing issue in my property. Their expertise and commitment to customer satisfaction were outstanding.

Genteel was really good at answering the phone and getting a tech out to the house. The problem: They quoted $3800 for a water heater install, very basic took about 1 hour. I didn't shop around - didn't expect their to be variation for this service, assumed they were charging fair prices. I got curious and called Home Depot for full install for same model at same location and they quoted $2000 all in, independent plumber in SF $2000 - $2500. Would never recommend these guys if their business model is to overcharge in an emergency.

These guys are great. I called them late at night after several failed attempts to get a hold of other 24 hour companies and was able to get a friendly lady on the phone right away. They sent a tech over and did not up-charge due to late hour. They even offered to bill my landlord as long as I signed for invoice. Easy and smooth service all around. Highly recommended!

Wonderful customer service (Mike on the phone) and followup. Dominic just installed a new water heater for me. He was very knowledgeable and efficient. Very competitive prices. The office staff is also very efficient, calling to inform me to let me know that Dominic was running late with a new estimate arrival time. Have used them in the past for various plumbing problems. Highly recommend Smelly Mel's.
