Javier C was my plumber technician for this sewer repair. He is so professional! He made sure we understood what the problem might be before setting to work. It did turn out to be my tree roots blocking the sewer pipe. He cleaned it out and explained the process afterwards. He was such a great pleasure to work with. Thank you, Javier and Works Plumbing!

This is my first time ever leaving a review. I am so thankful for One Sources help at 4:30 am I had to share it. I woke to water coming from the kitchen upstairs through the lights in my downstairs bathroom. A pipe malfunctioned on the dishwasher and was flowing onto the kitchen floor and then flooding the kitchen. I frantically called 4 plumbers who said 24hr service but it turns out they just have an answering service and I was told someone would get back to me. No one did. The 5th company was One Source and he talked me through how to shut off the water which turns out to be pretty easy if you know where to look. I wasn't charged anything and it was just a very nice decent thing to do for someone at that ungodly hour in the morning. Thank you, Thank you!!

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

We found Discount Plumbing through all of the fantastic BBB and we could be more pleased than with the support, They earned my highest recommendation and I mean earned it!

The Genteel Plumbing owner Sam reached out to me after reviewing my review and comments. I spoke at length about the issues I had and Sam was very understanding and sympathetic, he is a good listener. In the end he agreed to issue a $200 credit and added a 5 year warranty for the work done to replace our toilet and toilet valve. This type of customer service is rare given my experience with other companies and as I told Sam I really appreciate his efforts with me.
Hence I have changed my rating to 5 stars !

Plumbers were on time and clear on the options for completing the replacement of a toilet and water fill valve. Frankly, the cost to replace toilet and shut off valve seemed excessive. Total time for the repair was about 2 hours total cost was $878.00. This was the lowest cost option in my case and comes with NO warranty on the work, not even 30-60 days. I find the lack of any warranty on the work after spending nearly $900 shocking. In order to get any type of warranty on the work I would have had to spend hundreds of more $$$. Lastly, the plumbers left the bathroom sink and floor dirty after they finished and left.
I doubt I will use Genteel Plumbers for any future plumbing work.

After my experience hiring AB plumbing to repair my broken main shutoff valve. Going forward i will only call AB plumbing for any plumbing needs i have in the future. The price was good the service was great and the quality was top notch.

They had a truck become available when I was on the phone, and the technician arrived within the hour. Straightforward estimate and supplies on hand made for quick repairs. I would use SM again!

Had a terrible experience of being over priced and told I had to pay $225 for an unsuccessful attempt at dislodging an object from the toilet. It was a five minute task that did not work. I said I’d pay for a house visit, but no way was i paying $225 for a “try at it” that yielded no results. He huffed off and told me that no one acts that way. It all felt disingenuous to me.
