We called Isaac due to a tub/shower faucet that would not shut off! This is in a condo, on a late Friday night. After calling several plumbers who could not come, we arranged for Isaac to come first thing Sunday morning. We were impressed with him on the phone, and he really came through! He was a great communicator, came prepared with all of the necessary parts and tools to cut open our tiled shower wall, cut out the old valves, and install a new control valve. He was diligent, careful, thorough, respectful, neat, and cleaned up everything when finished. I will certainly call him again with any other plumbing issues. Very reliable and professional.

Ace Plumbing & Joel saved me $30,000!!! I recently bought a house with plumbing issues. 2 different plumbing companies said my lateral sewer was shot and needed to be completely replaced and rerouted. I live on a hill with over 100' of pipe to the sewer main. Ace was able to scope the pipe, verify the pipe is in great condition the whole way down, except for one spot early on that has tree root intrusions. I'm able to spot repair one spot and it's $30k less than the previously quoted replace and reroute. I am forever grateful to them!!!! Also, Joel was extremely helpful and friendly. He explained everything clearly to me and gave me a video file of the scope showing the pipe is all in good condition. It's good to find an honest company!

Exceptionally great job! The service person who came out was very clear in communicating all the relevant information about what was needed, and he was very friendly, helpful, and patient with my 82 year old mother. They got the replacement part and the issue was fixed without delay — before the big storm came in the next day. We will never use a different plumbing service!

I can't say enough about what a great job Angelo and his crew from Discount Plumbing did with our rental home in Oakland. Angelo called me right away to set up a next day estimate. He and his crew were on time and very thorough. originally, it look like it was going to a straight forward trenchless project and Angelos's quote came in well below several other bids.

Angelo and the crew got to work on time the next day and we were lucky enough to get the once in a blue moon plumbing disaster. A city tree had a root that grew into the line and ran over 52 feet to the house from street. Angelo called me right away and kept myself and my up-to-date with multiple messages as our simple trenchless project turned into a massive multiple trench sewer excavation. After seeing the extensive work that had to be performed it was an incredible relief when Angelo gave us the additional expense from the original quote which was incredibly reasonable. At this point we were at his mercy and I felt that he made sure that he didn't take advantage of the situation. In this day I think this type of honesty is hard to come by and it almost brought me to tears.

Angelo and his crew worked long hours for two days on our little sewer project and they we so professional. The kept the area as clean as possible and communicated clearly with my neighbors, my renter and myself. Angelo was so extremely helpful and positive even as the project got bigger and bigger.

Your assistance spend approx. 30 minutes in replacing an about ten inch long pipe, afterwards there was still a leak in the connection of the new
pressure control I had bought. For doing this job, he wanted to charge me another $250 in addition to the $325.

I just posted a photo of the new toilet Ace installed. Our house has had Ace out numerous times to resolve various issues relating to our building's age (1880's) and the shoddy DIY work of previous owners. These guys have always been nice. Upfront, accurate estimates before work begins. In this particular bathroom Ace advised us we could either keep fighting the issue or simply replace the toilet. They let me select, from the variety at the big box hardware store, for whichever toilet would meet my needs (and fit). Dude! I so wish we'd done this long ago. It looks so sweet and the flush so reliable without threatening to overflow.

Of the plumbers we got quotes from, the were not only reasonably priced, but prompt, responsive, and clear in explaining the rationale between the work they do and don't recommend. Several other plumbers recommended more drastic work, but they respectfully disagreed and told us why. I respect that honesty and professionalism and would recommend them.
