After two visits with Freddy's and $500 later the main sewer was still taking water slowly. I hired Drain Busters to run a camera down the full length of the line and was told there was a large ball of tree roots. I told Freddy's before he started the cleaning that we have tree roots at '75 feet down. I knew this because the line was scoped in the past for different reasons by the city. Now I have to pay again for the line to be cleared correctly. Also didn't put down a tarp and got sewer juice on the carpet that we had to sanitize ourselves. He did assure me that he cleared the full length of '120 but the camera clearly shows he only went 95'.

Rumpca replaced my septic pump and they were very professional and amazingly inexpensive I will be using Rumpca for all my problems that arise from now on, thanks again Rumpca for a job well done 👍✅

Roto-rooter sent someone out within a couple of hours for no extra cost. Dave was helpful and informative about the problem. He took the time needed to be sure the pipe was completely clear. I would recommend this service to anyone with a clogged drain.

After using rauscher over the past year for various services and spending thousands of dollars my dad and I are unhappy with our experience dealing with this company. During our first visit they sent a plumber with an obvious body odor problem. For what they are charging personal hygiene should be a given and it was so strong it took me over 30min to air our home out. When I mentioned this to Dave he didn’t seem receptive to that feedback and from that point on has been cold in our interactions. Second, they bill you by the minute including the time it takes for them to total up the bill and the time it takes to fill out the check. If they did excellent work this wouldn’t be a big issue but during our latest service call the plumber we had missed a leak with our sink pipes while installing a new garbage disposal. He forgot the new toilet seat and had to waste time calling the office to send out a replacement. He also left a dirty bucket filled with dirty water in our home for us to deal with. Be advised if you choose a toilet or any fixtures from Ferguson and use Rauscher to install Rauscher significantly marks up the cost. Also be advised that their hourly rate increases every May which they don’t disclose on their website or during scheduling calls. Dave has been unpleasant to deal with, his arrogance and scheduling mistake caused a delay in our service and stress. Instead of being apologetic and offering a discount due to his mistake he acted cold and indifferent and like it was our problem for not wanting to use the plumber he sent instead of the one we had requested. The last guy they sent out to seal the sink pipe didn’t fix the leak. Whatever paste he used to seal it is easily wiped off, he didn't do the bottom rim just the top leaving water dripping through onto the area below the sink. He never recommended replacing that pipe piece or communicated options to us before he left. We will never use them again and they didn’t fix the the sink drip they most likely created during the garbage disposal install. We recently replaced our old radiant heating system with a forced-air heating and cooling system. AF did a fantastic job. Their quotes were consistent from the early planning to project completion, the workmanship was excellent and the system is working well. Our house was built in 1924 and required some tuning of the system to handle the exceptionally cold winter this year. AF was on top of any needed adjustments, making sure we understood the tweaks they made and why. The guys on-site were friendly and respectful, making sure to tidy up after their work. We'll definitely call them in the future if we need more work done.

Jon Boll was right on time, knowledgable and informative. He explained everything as needed. My problem was fixed and he explained what I should do going forward if the problem presented itself again. I will work with this company again in the future.

I own Lindstrom Electric, LLC and have worked on some of the same projects with Semlak Plumbing. The quality of his work is the best I have seen and he is easy to work with. When the trades work together on projects the customer receives the best finished product.

Pedro was very professional and explained everything in detail. He brought our existing shower and bath plumbing up to code and added some shut off valves so we can isolate them if we have problems in the future. He was very communicative with setting up the appointment and checking in with us. He even started heading to the job before we had verified we were there. Little things like that make him stand out as an excellent resource for any plumbing needs. His prices are fair and he was able to get us in quick.

This company's reputation precedes them, and is extremely important to them since they are a family owned business that has been around for well over 100 years. I first heard of them about a dozen years ago when I was working for a sheet metal company as a bookkeeper and they would often bid projects for McQuillan. My employers, who were a union shop, had also worked in the Twin Cities for decades, were always glad to win a job they'd bid where they'd be working with the folks from McQuillan, saying they were straight arrow guys who followed through fully on every project.When my Central A/C went out last week during a string of 90°+ days we had here, I had to call someone for service. Googling A/C Repair brought up several names, but most had left a bad taste in my mouth with negative experiences such as bait and switch advertising, condemning an appliance & shutting it off without bothering to me notify me when they left about what they'd done ~ things like that.When I saw McQuillan's name, I was glad to know I had a good chance of no nonsense. I called & they said YES, they'd fit me in TODAY before 4, and they'd call back shortly with a better idea of their technician's arrival. At 10am they called to say he'll be here by 11, and he was.I had time to talk with him while he was working: he's a retired veteran, and he knows his stuff. After my explaining how my unit had been acting, he told me it was likely the capacitor needed to be replaced, and told me what it would look like if that were the case: a small can of pop with the top of the lid domed up, as if it had been left in the freezer.When he got it out, that's exactly what it looked like. He'd also given me quotes for additional repairs, IF this wasn't the only thing.Luckily for me, it was!My unit is 18 years old, so I know this is jus a band-aid of a fix until it gets replaced. Hopefully by THEM, too🤞

Curella Co. did an amazing job repairing our offset pipe. Tony got us a bid in a timely manner and was good at communicating for when the ground would be thawed enough to do the job. I'd definitely recommend them.

I have been a customer for a few years now. I'm apart of the monthly Comfort Care plan. Just recently had Richard take care of a leaking sink. I believe they have fair prices and have not over sold me on services. I recommend trying them. Thank you Richard for you expertise!

Fixed a leak caused by the tub in quick order and for a reasonable price. Called them on Sunday and they were there 9am Monday morning getting to work.

Discount Plumbers was great! They gave me a 1 to 4:00 p.m. window and ended up being able to come earlier which was awesome. Zach was super friendly and professional. Got the clog out quick and the price was very competitive and affordable.

He installed a hot water heater, left a mess and a water leak. I called and talked to him, he is very friendly but never followed up or offered to fix any issues. I would look elsewhere!
