Inside water shut off was leaking and street shut off as t been used in decades. Despite wet and freezing conditions these guys were able to open the access which had essentially welded itself shut then they took care of the inside. For a time it looked like the outdoor would have to be dug up and replaced $$$$. But these guys got it done without that expense

Replaced kitchen counter top on my housing that is going on the market. . Talked to a performance plumber working at my neighbors. I asked if he knew the price to do that work and he state somewhere around 2-$300.00. I called to make an appointment and would not give me the price over the phone. My house is scheduled to go on the market tomorrow , when the plumber showed up he stated this job is a set price of $850.00!! I had to get it done today so I was forced to pay close to this amount. It took him approximately 45 minutes. After he left I called to other plumbing companies and the prices for the exact same job was around $168-$245.00. Even my ion carpenter brother-in-law said I was screwed. If they have a flat rate for their jobs, they should tell you in advance. I am a disabled veteran living on a fixed budget and for Performance Plumbing to charge more than 300% more than other companies is obscene. If its a fixed price then give it to the customer in advance. When I called the office it was pretty much, tough luck. I was given the price when he showed up to where I did not have time to find another plumbing. $856.00 for a 45 minute job??? Don't use this company until you get the price first. Rip-off!!!

We came home from a week long cruise to find a waterfall in our beautifully finished basement. While we were gone a pipe had burst in our 1st floor bathroom and water could have been flowing for the entire week damaging both levels of our home. After shutting off the main water supply, we called Midwest Flood Restoration. They arrived at dawn the next morning, reasuured us that all would be well, then tirelessly worked for 5 days, removing wet drywall, pulling up carpeting, hauling away our damaged personal items, packing up items to be saved then drying out/sanitizing the entire area. We were ready for reconstruction in less than a week! Midwest Flood Restoration workers were truly our heroes and we would highly recommend them to anyone needing this type of flood restoration work.

Total professionalism from the minute I talked to Tom on the phone & Josh at my door within about 40 minutes. Josh explained what he thought it might be & was very diligent in checking everything thoroughly. No sales pressure or trying to upsell me on anything, unlike most other drain companies. When I find good companies I let people know, not only by word of mouth but written reviews. If you are like me positive written reviews mean a lot because it means people are willing to take the time to acknowledge companies that do good work, are professional, courteousness, & stand behind their work, etc. It is so easy to write negative reviews because people are usually mad at the service or lack of that they received. There's a reason Able Rooter & Drain have nothing but positive reviews & you won't be sorry using them for any drain issue. Kudos Tom & Josh. Wish more companies were like yours.
