We converted a bath tub to a shower and a dual lav to a single. Lots of plumbing involved. We engaged Mike Salazar of On Point Plumbing for the job. The quality of his work is outstanding. From the soldering of the copper pipes to the re-alignment of the lav plumbing, Mike’s superior skill was demonstrated. The supplier of fixtures and parts was less than efficient and Mike had to make repeated visits to install them as they came in. He did so without complaint, without added charges over a period of two months. Mike and Lee came over to my rental house just to fix a leaky shower head. Not only did they get that done in a timely manner, they also gave me an estimate on a water line to my fridge and found a leak under my house. These guys killed it and with any other plumbing needs I may have I will definitely be requesting these two. They went above and beyond when they didn’t have to and didn’t really have the time to. These guys did a fabulous job, on my sewer line, in a very difficult situation. We live in an older neighborhood where the city sewer line and easements go down between the back yards of the houses on the block. My 65+ year old “Orangeburg” sewer line was nearly completely collapsed. Many years ago my neighbor had built a block wall and planted lilac bushes right on top of the easement where the city line existed. We had to get to the line from the neighbor’s back yard or remove the wall to access it from my property. We got permission to access it and I had to cut 2 lilac bushes down. One was dead and the other almost dead and they were exactly on top of where my line and the neighbor’s line connected to the city line. There was minimal damage to our yards from the rubber tracked mini-excavator that A1 used. It was unbelievable how many big rocks are in the ground in our neighborhood. In 2 days A1 Plumbing was able to dig a few holes and pipe bust my entire 50 foot + line and replace the old collapsed pipe. Our line was only out of commission for about 5 hours the 2nd day. All the holes were filled back in and I only have some cleanup work to rake out some spots on the grassy areas where the rubber excavator tracks bunched it up a little, and pick up some of the new rocks that got exposed. It feels great to be able to flush the toilet and know that the material is moving into the city system and NOT coming back at me. Thanks Jay and the rest of the A1 crew for a great job.

Highly recommend. Absolutely great company with personable and professional employees. Put in a call on a Saturday and they were at my house in North Tahoe within an hour. The plumber, Ryan, had everything ship-shape in less time than I expected and the price was fair.

I wish I had more stars to give Wiley's. I am so thankful for Wiley's and their customer service - I WAS a customer of Sierra Air, do not use them! Sierra Air came out to do yearly service, I was on their preferred service program. Technician that came, did not seem confident in what he was doing, spent time in attic and finally came down and said we have a problem, discovered the heat exchanger unit had cracks, corrosion and stress and there were traces of carbon monoxide through-out my house. Mind you, I hire a company to be able to trust them. The technician could not answer my questions, just asked if I had space heaters, I said no, and he basically had nothing to say, I called his manager, he started asking my questions like, am I experiencing headaches etc. Also, I have detectors in my house none of them have gone off. So you could imagine how I was feeling at this point. They said they would send out a new tech which turned out to be from their design department. Turned out the first technicians tools he was using was faulty and was not working properly. At the end of the day, this guy had me talked into a sale of 7K, and pretty much worked off my emotions and fear.

Luckily, I spoke with a friend, referred me to Wiley's and I got a second opinion right away, Mike with Wiley's came out right away, he was very knowledgeable, eased my mind and made me feel comfortable that I was safe. He went through my house checking for monoxide, no detection. He said I do not need to replace my heater, that my heater was working fine, there was no detection of carbon monoxide and when I do need to replace it, it would be around 4000, not 7000. I asked him if he thought I should have them service the unit just in case Sierra Air didn't do it right, he said he was not comfortable charging me for a service I did not need. He went further on to explain how the monoxide detectors work, what to do if one did go off and that if I needed anything to please reach out to him. When I asked a question, he knew the answer. I also have a friend that works at a plumbing company here in town and also said Wiley's is fantastic.

If you want someone you can trust and a company that is honest and doesn't work off commission, reach out to Wiley's they are the best and looks out for your safety and best interest

We have used Ira Hansen and sons multiple times over the past 3 years with the most recent being today. They are always on time, professional, clean and efficient. Our plumber today was Shawn B and he did an excellent job cleaning out our line from the dishwasher to the air gap. He also inspected a gas line connection for us and gave it a clean bill of health.

Communication: I was referred to them by another client who also highly recommended them. I reached out on the weekend and received timely and professional response within reasonable hours of the day. Adan communicated possible times that would work for both of us for a leak inspection and was timely and considerate about the potential severity of the situation.

Scheduling: Adan was able to pencil me in between appointment schedules and had great communication about possible times. He worked with my busy work schedule to find an ideal time within a reasonable time frame.

Professionality: When Adan and his partner arrived on site, they were professional, courteous and considerate. Thorough in their examination, and listened to what my concerns were and investigated the issue from multiple angles and different possible systems.

Price: I believe that the price of the service was very reasonable for the quality and professionalism experienced.

Dr. Plumber (Jack) fixed a leaking gas line for me pronto.Finally a contractor that cares about his reputation and quality of work while at the same time being reasonable during these tough economic times. Great communication all the way through.

When I couldn't get it done. I called van Allen. They set me up for an appointment for the next day. Not only did they fix the leak. They sealed up the Frame behind the spout. Great job. 10/10 would call again.

This company is run by scamming thieves. Never ever pay them a penny if they have not finished the job. They will take the money and run. The one 5 star review they have from Elizabeth Rowe is a scam as well- the company is owned by her family!!
