Best Maintenance Services in Raleigh NC

We needed a 22 year old water heater replaced. I had 3 companies quote a tank water heater and tankless water heater. In both cases, Poole's plumbing was the lowest quote. In fact, we ended up selecting the tankless water heater and the installed quote was about $600 lower than the other two companies. So on price, Poole wins.

On availability, from the time to quote to time to install, it was less than a week. Far less time than the other companies quoted. So on timing, Poole wins.

On professionalism, all three companies were very professional, so I was very pleased.

On installation, Poole did a great job. Finished the job in about 6 hours when I was expecting 8-10 hours. The service techs Henry and Chris wore covers on their shoes in the house, explained the steps that they were going through as they went through them, after installation went through a thorough explanation of how the water heater works, and informed me that they will be back on Friday for the city inspection. On installation, could not have gone any better.

On customer service, Julie was superb. Professional, timely, even sent me the Dominion Energy $150 rebate one day later after install.

I have stored Poole plumbing in my phone as my go to source for plumbing needs going forward.

The plumbers that came out seem nice and professional but not all FREE estimates are FREE! I called and requested an estimate yesterday for today. If you are selling your house apparently the FREE estimate then becomes a billable estimate which is referred to as a Reality Estimate. Just in case anyone else is looking for an estimate for the same reason I thought I'd write a review to inform you. The cost was $95 plus tax. Outside of the estimate I haven't had any work performed yet.

If you want delays, aggravation, frustration, cost overruns, Carolina Plumbing and Repair is your company. I hired them to do plumbing for my new residential construction, my biggest mistake!

They failed rough-in inspection and took almost three weeks to comeback and correct it. These guys have more on their plate than they can chew. They are grossly understaffed, they lie about scheduling, they don't do it right the first time, and hope to get by.

They are always in a rush, and do not dedicate time and effort to do it right the first time. For example, they ran the water leak test for rough-in inspection and did not take the water out from the drain lines after inspection. With cold temps the water froze and busted the pipes, this was on January 10th 2018, as of today they haven't come back to fix it. We are 3 weeks away from closing and two weeks from final inspection, these guys are still dragging their feet. They have held up other trades from completing their jobs. There are many more examples, and if I wrote them all - I would end up writing a book titled: 101 Reasons Not to Hire Carolina Plumbing and Repair.

I would not recommend them for new construction or new additions.

I have a maintenance contract. The technician on this visit was very thorough. I never get the same technician twice, however.

I'd highly recommend Your Service Pro of NC if you want to work with a group of professionals and want the job done correctly. I had an odd request about the timing of day I wanted the water heater installed and Your Service Pro was finished with the job at exactly the time I requested they be done. Prices are reasonably priced with competitors and the quality of work and professionalism are all reasons you should give them a call for your plumbing needs. The guys that came out to install the water heater were very courteous. I'd highly recommend that you call this company before trying any others.

The plumbing technician, James, was excellent! He quickly assessed where the leak was coming from, offered a couple of choices of how to make the repair and stopped the leak! It was a very good experience with James and Bell Cow Services!
