We lost the water to our house with a break in a pipe... They came the same day and figured out the problem and were back the next day to repair it. It wasn't a small or easy job, they had to remove a lot of sidewalk and dig deep large hole to reach the problem area. The service was outstanding! We had a quick response, knowledgeable people, friendly service and high quality work. Klint was extremely helpful and walked us through the entire process, photos included. Peter worked many hours to make sure we got our water back as quickly as possible. They will be our plumbers from now on. Thanks so much!

From Kelsey who took our call (so kind), Mathew the tech that assessed the problem (very profession), Tommy who sold us our new furnace (and walked us through all the choices) and of course Sean & Tyler who installed our new items.This company is responsive, kind and fair priced. The technicians were on time, cleaned up after themselves & ensured we understood each process.I would use them again!

Outstanding would be another word! We chose them because their reviews were so good and now we know why. It was a relatively simple job with a very fair quote. The work date was very soon after their free home estimate. He was very thorough in his explanation, very skilled at fixing the problem and above all, METICULOUS! Absolutely we will use them next time we have a plumbing issue.

This is the first online review I have ever written about anything - I just am left with the worst feeling that I was totally taken advantage of. I called Portland Mechanical to replace the filters for the air conditioning at my office, as well as look into a whistling noise that was coming from the unit. After a couple of hours, the whistling noise was fixed. Eric came back to our location on two separate occasions for several hours over the next few days. On the third day he handed me a bill for 17 hours of labor, plus 1.5 hours of overtime and over $900 in supplies. He did not announce his arrival or departure for the two additional days he was here. $3,200 to replace the filters and fix a whistling problem that stopped two hours after he was here. I felt so taken advantage of that he continued to work on our air conditioning when he was not asked to. I explained that we are a small business, and were not prepared to spend thousands of dollars on unwanted repairs with no warning. When I expressed my frustration to him, he said that he didn't think I seemed too concerned about money. I told him that most people are. I will never call Portland Mechanical again and would not recommend them to anyone.

So I made the mistake all home shows tell you to never do: pay for a bid. Profleet charges $75 per a bid and then there bid came back at over 450% of other bids. I'm guessing they just didn't want the job but did want to fill a bid schedule. I can't speak to their work (hence two stars).

The Sales person John was on time and friendly and listened carefully to what we needed and addressed our concerns. The plumbing contractor followed through in and efficient manner was able to accommodate additions to the original estimate. The patching contractor was able to patch the sheet rock and other access points and leave us with paintable walls when they left. It was the experience we had hoped for.

Great company to work with
