I can't say enough great things about Burfitt Plumbing! I had multiple plumbing issues that I had been putting off - nervous about what the cost would be. One of the issues was my water heater, not generating enough hot water anymore. My neighbor had the same issue around the same time, and his plumber replaced the whole water heater. Burfitt was able to just replace the bottom heating unit - saving me hundreds of dollars. The technician also took care of a leaky pipe that was attached to the garbage disposal and my broken bathroom drain plug. All this taken care of quickly, professionally and inexpensively and on a Saturday to boot! I wish I would have called sooner!

Called for a quote on the tankless water heater I wanted and All Pro far beat out other companies. Also had them install an additional drain line. Kaleo, Jose, & Nate came out and did a terrific job. I suggested possible shortcuts that would make the job easier but not look nearly as good and they came up with even better options within budget. They were able to far surpass even the most fickle person's needs! Can't recommend them enough.

My whole basement was flooded from a recent storm. I had to gut and re-do their basements. I have a bathroom down there so needed to re-do some plumbing. I called this company, and they really are great plumbers. Very timely and knowledgeable. They really are the Best Portland Plumbers!

Okay, I have to say - Meticulous Plumbing is HORRIBLE. They sent out a plumber to assess the minor issues we were having. He could not fix anything (even just replacing a gasket or anything minor), quoted us several hundreds of dollars for super invasive work for fix a bathtub drain that was not holding water and a pop-up sink plug that was broken). We got someone else to come out, fix all in an afternoon with simply replacing some worn out parts. Then the owner of Meticulous (Leo) was very rude and argumentative with me when I call to complain. The plumber that came out was either incompetent or outright lying to us and the owner was rude and defensive. I would NEVER recommend them. If we had just taken them at their word we might had paid thousands of dollars and have walls and ceiling cut into simply because they were unwilling to tell us that these were simple fixes that a handyman could do. When I asked Leo why we were not told that at the dispatch (which we paid for - I assume part of what we were paying for was to get the assessment!) he said that no plumber would ever tell someone to get a handyman. On the other hand, he also told me that plumbers would not do simple fixes like replacing seals etc! I hope their dishonesty is NOT a quality shared by other plumbers. Completely unprofessional.

Left this on Yelp, too, but just want to get the word out on a great plumber: Had a great experience with Steve Ackerman (the son)! Called with a leak issue (from the ceiling), and while they couldn't work me in for a couple of days initially, they called back shortly after the same day when they had a cancellation. Steve arrived when he said he would, was polite, personable, and thorough. He tried to minimize the damage he had to do to the drywall to find the cause of the leak, and he explained every step of the way. It required another trip out to the house to get everything resolved (to allow time for drying of wet wood), but he was efficient, thorough, and left my house even a bit cleaner than when he arrived. Nice guy, obviously very knowledgeable about what he does, and he gave great advice. I will DEFINITELY use him if I ever need a plumber again.

We(wife andI)called Rowe after seeing all the positive reviews. We had pipes knocking and a leaking shower head. We got an appraisal scheduled and the plumber came out. He assessed both issues, and told me that with the pipes knocking he couldn’t do anything because he would need to get a younger guy out that could go under the house and we could reschedule to have both issues addressed when two plumbers could come out together. Ok, fine...I’m ok with that and agree to reschedule a few days later.

The second appointment day arrives and it’s the same plumber, but alone. He tells me that there was a scheduling problem and the second plumber wasn’t available unfortunately. He was apologetic, and tells me he’ll have the office call me to reschedule. I called another company shortly after he left and scheduled with them. My plan was to tell Rowe that we decided to go elsewhere when they called.

Later that same afternoon, I get a text stating a plumber was on their way from Rowe. Within an hour, a plumber from Rowe shows up ready to go. I never got my call to reschedule, and was a little frustrated at the whole thing.

Fantastic experience with Doug. Quick, friendly and excellent work. I had three mountain plumbing do a similar job just six months ago and it was (without exaggeration) 3x the cost. Can't advocate for 1st Plumbing enough, really appreciate them!

They installed a very heavy vanity and toilet in the bathroom, caulked counter-tops and bathtub. Also installed an ice-maker line and kitchen sink plumbing. All employees were kind and helpful. On time and efficient. Used drop clothes on floors. The work was not cheap but you get what you pay for. Excellent company that I will be using again!

Bob and his wife dont pay people that work for them the amount of hours that they worked for them, when i worked for bob he would say disrespectful things about his customers, called one nasty and a seal and etc,
