Best Drain Cleaning in Portland OR

I have had Chris with Affordable Plumbing & Drain Cleaning out to my place twice now and I could not be more pleased. They bill at about 30%-40% less than anyone else I have vetted and in addition they are skilled at what they do. He is semi-punctual but his knowledge and ability to apply what he knows to the job is unsurpassed. Give them a call, you can't go wrong....

Bruce and his crew are the most professional crew I've ever worked with and they can handle jobs of ALL complexities, highly recommend!

The tech who completed the repair was excellent.However, this company charged us almost $900 to replace a $50 part. Considering same-day service, distance traveled, and cost of labor that is still an EGREGIOUS overcharge. I honestly can't understand how they would ever get repeat business. We will not be hiring them again.

He not only came on time but also came on short notice & was so helpful to let us know what caused the issue & couldn't have been nicer. READ THIS REVIEW- Prior to calling John, we did two major bathroom remodels. We used a plumbing company referred to us by the fixture gallery. (great place) Plumbers did a decent job, charged going rate. 4K. It took a little longer than expected, but not a big deal. Recently we hired John for water heater and misc. challenging plumbing work. He has so much more knowledge ( we met with several others ) the guy knows what he is doing, responds immediately, on time, doesn’t waste time with chit chat or question after question. We were not looking for a personable upbeat person. We just wanted an outstanding plumber with integrity to get job done. He was a little more reasonable, but not why we hired him. He was upfront from the beginning, the estimate did not change, and finished project ahead of schedule.

Mick is a friendly, honest, trustworthy, and safe. Even though plumbing troubles are a pain, we look forward to chatting with him because he's such a great guy. He's always on time, quick to fix the problem, and helpful with advice on how to avoid future issues.

Jorge to the rescue, again! I found Plumbing Craftsman and Jorge about a month ago when I needed emergency work done on my water heater and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. (See prior review from Mr J.)
Today, I had a leak situation that I thought was fixed from nearly 2 years ago come back. I immediately contacted Jorge who found, diagnosed and fixed in an hour what took TWO different well known plumbing companies and 3 plumbers to try and do. I can’t say enough how grateful our family is to Jorge. There is nobody else I will call again for any plumbing and repair needs and nobody I could recommend higher. If you’d like to read on, I will elaborate on my situation a little more.

So basically, life struck again in the form of an old leak from an upstairs bathroom that returned from less than 2 years ago after being misdiagnosed and poorly “fixed” by not one, but two, yes TWO completely separate plumbing companies. One sent two different plumbers out who charged us an arm and a leg to cut holes in my walls and ceiling and tried to sell me a whole new tub/shower unit with additional piping repairs (that weren’t necessary) for an outrageous price saying “that was our only option.” We were blown away and skeptical so we opted for a second opinion. Then we had a second plumbing service come out. This one got it to stop leaking (hooray!) but clearly for just a while, only to find out now they tried to fix the issue with a crazy amount of calking and cheap/questionable patchwork. And in the end, we still have the holes. Lessons learned. I wish we’d have found Plumbing Craftsman back then, but glad we have them now. Jorge again not only does quality work and brings a wealth of knowledge, but also walks you through the process showing and explaining his work, truly giving you secure piece of mind and confidence. He’s worth the call and trust me, worth every penny… perhaps more in my opinion.
