They are amazing!! They came out on a weekend and fixed our water heater that was just installed by someone else. They made a terrible situation so much better. They did such a good job that we hired them to do the install work for our home addition. Super happy to be working with them again.

I had such a wonderful experience and am overdue writing a review. It was a Friday night in mid-September. I was washing up after dinner and the sink wasn't draining properly. It turned out there was a leak where the drain pipe attaches to the sink. Go figure. I live in the same neighborhood and remembered the company name from the work van so I looked up the website and submitted an inquiry. It was 8 pm on a Friday. I expected hearing back on Monday morning to schedule time hopefully early in the week. I received an email Saturday morning offering to come by on *Saturday*. There was a delay on my part connecting with my husband who was at home. However, Gene made time in the afternoon. He replaced the gasket, the related parts and even the strainer! Our sink is original to 1988 and now it's refurbished. Gene gave up time on his Saturday and helped us on very short notice to fix a leak. The repair is excellent and I would most definitely recommend Gene's quality work.

We had a plumbing emergency on a Saturday, the main water service line to the house sprung a major leak and we had to shut it off. I called two other places first that advertise 24/7 availability and just got their answering services that said they'd call me Monday or Tuesday.

I took a chance on Affordable Plumbing even though they only had three reviews. They answered and told me Gene would be out in one hour. Gene came out to my place, we both dug up the line where broken, and he replaced the bad section of the line including the shut-off valve. The work done looked very good. He knew what he was doing. He even cleaned up after by filling the hole and putting the valve cover box back in place.

After he finished, since he was already there, I asked him if he could clean out our storm drain pipe, which had been backing up during heavy rains. He could, and did.

The price was reasonable, especially considering it was on short-notice on a Saturday. Gene was good to work with and had much more patience for my kids than I did as they gathered around to watch and ask questions. His work truck is probably the most organized I've ever seen, which is a good sign of professionalism to me. He had the parts and tools and was able to get to them quick.

Very satisfied. In just a few hours he saved me from a really rough weekend with no water to the house. I'll definitely call him again if needed. Thanks!

My old house has needed plumbing and drain work several times over the years and I've always found Gene to be prompt, knowledgeable, creative, hard-working and fairly priced, while maintaining a good sense of humor.

Reasonable price for diagnosis. The man that came chose not to do the job and I can't blame him. He was on time and went under a house with a rat under it for 75 bucks so that was appreciated very much.

Gene did a great job prepping my basement for a new hot water heater (disconnecting old one and running pipes for new one in a new location), and also fixed the water pressure in my kitchen sink, installing a new faucet in the process.

Additionally, he's punctual, responds to texts, and is easy to work with. Very happy with this service.

Wow! Gene was more than efficient! He had the leak under my kitchen sink diagnosed and fixed and was out of my house in 15 minutes! Amazing!

I hired Gene to cap off the lines of a shower valve, it took him 40 minutes and he charged me $1000, it was outrageous. When I complained about the price, he threatened to go after the homeowner if I didn’t pay what he demanded. I am a general contractor, I have dealt with a lot of plumbers in my days, but I never dealt with a plumber like Gene before, he is a flat out con man. I’m not one to leave reviews, but this man’s behavior was so unprofessional, so beyond the norm, that I felt compelled to warn others in the hope of saving them some grief and a whole lot of money.

I have had Chris with Affordable Plumbing & Drain Cleaning out to my place twice now and I could not be more pleased. They bill at about 30%-40% less than anyone else I have vetted and in addition they are skilled at what they do. He is semi-punctual but his knowledge and ability to apply what he knows to the job is unsurpassed. Give them a call, you can't go wrong....
