Jorge is great! Super nice guy, he helped us with a whole bunch of issues from an inspection report (we just bought a new house). He even jumped down into the crawl space to check plumbing under our 2 bathrooms. I really appreciated that he was upfront and honest about pricing. Plumbing leak near water meter, as well as leaky toilet, and replace and movement of pressure regulator valve from street to crawl space. Big job. Showed up when another plumber kept cancelling on me. In the midst of snow, and near Christmas, Jorge showed up and did an extensive job with professionalism. He also showed me what he was working on and explained things. Everything seems to be working fine. He even called the next day to follow up. Jorge was recommended by a friend and I should have called him first. I also saw the positive reviews online. Also he did extra stuff like clean out a little yard drain and redid the concrete near a new shut off valve. Very thorough.

Best plumbing service EVER! Period!

We just moved to a new house in Hillsboro with a large front and back yard but w/o a sprinkler system. After much research and trips to HomeDepot I ended up installing some timers and manual sprinklers.

The problem... both front and back spigots had major leaks so I couldn't keep the spigots on so the timer could do their thing w/o wasting gallons of water a day... what to do? Call Jorge Lopez at Plumbing Craftsman!!!

Although Jorge was on vacation when I first reached him, he took the time to talk to me to understand the problem (he even asked me to take pictures of the spigots and send them to him so he could be sure). Throughout his vacation he kept checking in with me and as soon as he got back to the office called me to schedule the repairs.

From the moment he arrived at our place you could tell that he was very professional and knowledgable and very friendly and personable.

He explained all the issues why the spigots were leaking and the different approaches to fix them.

To my surprise, he chose the cheapest approach!!!

I'm not a handymay type of guy at all so he could have made any story up, like: oh we need to replace the entire plumbing of the house to fix this and I would have been ok, let's do it.

In 1/2 an hour he was in/out and my spigots and timers are working beautifully and I don't have to worry any more about turning them on/off or if I left them on and I'm just wasting water.

Through his honesty and excellent work, he won a customer for life!!!

I have used Jorge a couple times now and he is super laid back and exceptionally friendly. He fixed a toilet that was not flushing properly and also did some rework under our vanity and kitchen sinks. We sought multiple bids and opinions for a broken pipe under our home. Jorge was the most innovative, and brought a solution that no one else did, directional drilling. This solution mean we didn't have major drywall and ceiling repairs to accommodate a new pipe. He saved us money and did a quality job with our repair. Absolutely thrilled with Jorge and his quality work of replacing our water heater. Out of all the companies that I called and talked to, Jorge was by far my favorite. When I first contacted him about my leaky water heater, he walked me through some things to check and worked with me to find the best solution.

We did find the problem with the water heater was something that needed a full replacement. Super polite, On time, fantastic work, Very reasonable, and my first choice for any future plumbing needs.

We are so pleased with the service we received (new water heater) from Plumbing Craftsman. Jeorge was fantastic. He responded quickly and asked for a lot of detail before giving us a quote so that it would be accurate. He taught us about the different options for tanks so that we could make an educated decision. (We we're able to verify everything he told us and recommended on the internet.)

His quote was smack in the middle of the prices we got from five companies. We decided to hire him because of his demonstrated attention to detail.

He arrived when he said he would and he was very thourough. He took the time to answer all of our questions. He is a true craftsman in that he took the time to build a mount for our 100-year old home. He cleared our (never cleaned) ground drain, and updated our gas connection. None of these things were included in the other four quotes we received (even the higher ones).

It was a pleasure to interact and hire someone who provided professional, expert, honest, and friendly service. We are old enough to remember that these characteristics were the expectation. Sadly, they are not anymore. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company!

I had a leaking shower spout and the water was leaking down from the upper floor bathroom through the kitchen ceiling. Jorge squeezed me in for an early appointment. He came the same day and replaced the faucet cartridge, which did the trick. He also used silicone to seal up the bathtub handles and spout to make sure the water would not seep through to the ceiling. He did a clean, great job in a timely manner and at a reasonable cost. Will definitely call him again if necessary.

My house observes a tradition that, if there is going to be a plumbing problem, it will become evident sometime after 5pm on a Friday evening. So with our kitchen sink. It turned out to be beyond my limited plumbing skills. Not wanting to spend weekend rates, on Sunday night I called and left a message. On Monday morning I received a call back and George had the job done by 10am. It was also considerably less than he had quoted me on the telephone. He tidied up nicely, added an adjustment to the drain gratis, and left. If all of my service calls were like George, my life as a homeowner would be sweeter. Thanks, George. We had noted an increase in our water bill in the spring and realized we had a small leak somewhere and were able to determine the leak was outside our home. We had a leak locator company come out, and they marked ~ location of the leak and per our request provided the names of 3 plumbing companies they had worked with. We had hoped to have a plumber who had done work for someone we knew, and our neighbor provided us with Jorge's name. Jorge came out and located the leak fairly quickly. Then he needed to follow the pipes from original plumbing and improved upon that for the leak repair. It was rainy and a dirty job, and the cost was over 50% less than the bids from the other companies. Job well done - thank you.

I called Jorge on a Saturday, and he was the only plumber to answer the phone! He was out of town but was very willing to share his insight and knowledge to help! He has the heart of teacher. A week later, I had an issue with my water heater, and he was prompt, courteous, and efficient. He has a high level of attention to detail, and went above and beyond to help me out. We had a pretty significant leak in our water heater. Jorge was able to squeeze us in same day and complete the job with ease. Very knowledgeable and personable.

I called Jorge on the recommendation of a friend who had some leaking pipes repaired just before Christmas 2016 and was very pleased with the service. I was having some struggles removing an old faucet from a vintage pedestal sink that I intended to install in my upstairs bath. Jorge gave me some great advice and was able to get the old parts off the sink with ease! Very fair and reasonable pricing. Jorge is AMAZING!!! This is the 3rd time I've called him for different pluming issues. This time it was a clogged tub in my granddaughter’s bathroom. I worked on the drain myself for days with no success and ended up calling Jorge on Monday. I had to leave a message but got an IMMEDIATE call back. He was working in the area and offered to stop by at the end of his day. He unclogged the drain (30 years of hair build up YUCK), replaced my broken drain plug and shower handle! Call Plumbing Craftsman!!! Jorge Lopez is an amazing person! The main water-line into our house ruptured and water was pouring out, flooding our walk way and gardens. After calling a dozen plumbing companies, Jorge said he would swing by to take a look at the problem during his lunch break. He stayed and fixed our waterline in under two hours. Oh my god, he is the best! I had a serious leak problem, water all over. Jorge was on another job when I called him and he asked his customer if it would be alright to take a quick break in order to help me. He was here within 15 min. and got my mess fixed within another 20 min. Super professional, courteous and fair pricing. Very highly recommend!

Jorge replaced our hot water valve under the kitchen sink (for an upcoming dishwasher replacement). He was very prompt (available 30 min after I called him), very reasonable rates, very professional but also friendly, showed me a bunch of tips about what to look out for with the replaced water valve and what to tell the dishwasher installation people to fix (apparently the existing installation is not up to code). Took off his shoes when he came in too, without even me asking! Will absolutely call Jorge again for any future plumbing needs.

Jorge is the best plumber I have ever worked with. I had a leak in an upstairs toilet and I wanted it repaired asap. He returned my call promptly and came out the next morning and repaired everything. He actually followed up with a phone call to make sure all went well. Also the price charged was very reasonable. He has a new customer for life.

I had an outdoor hose bib that had been disconnected by the former owners and that I wanted functional again. One service came out and couldn’t figure out how to reconnect it. I called Jorge and he came right out. He took the time to actually find where the pipe had been disconnected. It involved opening up the wall in the garage, repiping it, and patching up the work. The other company did none of that. Jorge is tenacious when it comes to figuring out how to get things working properly. He even gave me a lesson in how to winterize the pipe! I have been his customer for years. He is the best.

I called Jorge to describe the issue with my kitchen plumbing. He gave me very reasonable quote over the phone and showed up in 20 minutes. Outstanding Service! Our toilet was releasing /refilling with water a couple of times an hour and our water bill increasing accordingly. I called several plumbing services and all were booked out 3-4 weeks. After reading Jorge's solid reviews I called him. He answered right away and was very pleasant, but he informed me he was on vacation. In frustration I kept him on the phone explaining our problem and to my surprise Jorge said, Ok, send me a photo of the inside of the toilet tank and I'll take a look. I sent him the photo and he called back within 5 minutes, explaining the problem and the specific rubber piece that needed to be removed and replaced. He assured me that it was an easy fix. To take the rubber piece to Home Depot/Loews and ask a rep to help me find the part. We did exactly as he instructed and the resolved the issue with ease. Thanks to Jorge's kind assistance by phone, we were able to buy a part on our own for a couple of dollars and fix the problem that day instead of having to wait 2 weeks and pay over $100 for a serviceman. Taking the time to help us while he was on vacation was truly impressive and speaks volumes about Jorge's integrity and quality of service. I have used Jorge for 4yrs now. I first met Jorge when he came to my house on X-Mas eve to repair a major water leak in my house. How major? The city of Beaverton had a bill of $950.00 for me! Which I didnt know about. Jorge came out to my place on X-Mas and got me sorted out, he didnt charge me an ridiculous holiday emergency fee like other outfits were ready to.

I have used Jorge from time to time since then. More recently my partner was having a water leak from her water heater out in Hillsboro and called 3 Mountain to get assistance. The lines that went into the water heater had corrosion so they started to leak there. As the rep was putting everything back together, he said due to a pre-existing condition when reinstalling the lines, an additional leak occurred. We asked how much that would cost to repair and they wanted an additional $450.00 on top of his initial quote of $250.00 so we had him stop there and had Jorge come out. Jorge came and fixed this pre-existing condition for 1/2 of what 3 Mountain wanted.

A few days after I had Jorge come out to my house in Beaverton to repair my kitchen sink as the hot water side was experiencing low pressure. Jorge saved me from having to buy a new sink because I'm pretty sure that's what someone else would've suggested because Jorge went above and beyond to backflush my hot water side and by doing so found that it was clogged with plastic sediments which was probably from when my original hot water heater went out. He unclogged it and got the hot water pressure back to normal. This costed me $230.00 as opposed to buying a new sink and the labor to replace.

Jorge also went to show me how to flush my hot water tank which the guys at 3 Mountain wanted to charge me a maintenance fee, Jorge did it for free and showed me how to.

Long story short, if you want an honest, hard working plumber that will work for you and listen to your needs and not try and upsell you everything to make a profit off of you Jorge is your guy. He understands what it means to build long lasting relationships with his clients because business is done over time, Rather than try and take you to the cleaners each time and make a profit that way. That's not what I want from a business. It works both ways. We all work extremely hard for our money and people shouldn't take advantage of a situation where you need help and charge you everything and sell you nothing.

I had water leaking through my downstairs vent coming from what I thought was an shower/bath tub up stairs. A very knowledgeable repairman (George) came in and investigated different areas within the bathroom and identified that the leak instead....was coming from the toilet. He made the repair and no more leak. Instead of tearing through walls and etc....experience prevailed and crisis averted!

Noticed a leak on our water heaters piping that takes the heated water to the house. It wasn't an emergency, but we knew we needed a plumber. Called up Plumbing craftsman after getting a recommendation from a friend. Left a message and heard from him within an hour. Scheduled to have him come out the next morning. He showed up right on time, was knowledgeable, and had the leak taken care of in under an hour. His pricing was very reasonable and he doesn't have any extra charges, just his hourly rate and the cost of the parts. I would recommend Plumbing Craftsman to any of my friends or family and am happy to know I have a great go to plumber.

Jorge to the rescue, again! I found Plumbing Craftsman and Jorge about a month ago when I needed emergency work done on my water heater and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. (See prior review from Mr J.)
Today, I had a leak situation that I thought was fixed from nearly 2 years ago come back. I immediately contacted Jorge who found, diagnosed and fixed in an hour what took TWO different well known plumbing companies and 3 plumbers to try and do. I can’t say enough how grateful our family is to Jorge. There is nobody else I will call again for any plumbing and repair needs and nobody I could recommend higher. If you’d like to read on, I will elaborate on my situation a little more.

So basically, life struck again in the form of an old leak from an upstairs bathroom that returned from less than 2 years ago after being misdiagnosed and poorly “fixed” by not one, but two, yes TWO completely separate plumbing companies. One sent two different plumbers out who charged us an arm and a leg to cut holes in my walls and ceiling and tried to sell me a whole new tub/shower unit with additional piping repairs (that weren’t necessary) for an outrageous price saying “that was our only option.” We were blown away and skeptical so we opted for a second opinion. Then we had a second plumbing service come out. This one got it to stop leaking (hooray!) but clearly for just a while, only to find out now they tried to fix the issue with a crazy amount of calking and cheap/questionable patchwork. And in the end, we still have the holes. Lessons learned. I wish we’d have found Plumbing Craftsman back then, but glad we have them now. Jorge again not only does quality work and brings a wealth of knowledge, but also walks you through the process showing and explaining his work, truly giving you secure piece of mind and confidence. He’s worth the call and trust me, worth every penny… perhaps more in my opinion.

I noticed standing water in our crawl space and determined it was coming from a leak in the kitchen sink drain pipe. After talking to Jorge he came out and not only diagnosed the problem (a crack basically the length of the drain pipe) but also repaired it in a couple of hours. Jorge knows what he's doing and made sure to replace the cracked pipe with a new one as well as using multiple angled pieces to make sure there was no stress on the new pipe, which caused the original to crack. I highly recommend Jorge and will be having him back to fix a couple other issues at my home in the future.

Very satisfied customer, here! I called 5 different highly-rated plumbers about a disposal leak, (all very nice) but Jorge figured out how to fit me into his same day schedule. He also saved me about $300. I was ready to buy a new disposal but he was able to fix the old one in about an hour. On top of everything, he gave me updates on his arrival time and explained the fix very clearly. Plumbing Craftsman is now the first company I'll call for plumbing issues.

Jorge was one of three quotes we got to re-route a pipe to our backyard under the foundation that had begun to leak. All other quotes wanted to tear apart the walls and ceiling for the re-route. Jorge was the only one with the innovative idea to try a method of directional drilling under the foundation, with minimal disruption to a single wall. His option worked great and we now have working water in our backyard without a bunch of torn up walls!

Repeat client of Jorge's. We had a slow-flowing shower and thought we needed the entire valve replaced which was going to be almost a $1000, full day job.

After looking over the shower and asking some questions, Jorge recommended flushing the existing valve to see if it resolved the problem. To little surprise, he was right!

In less than an hour and for a fraction of the full replacement price, Jorge had the shower running like new.

Great service, very informative and reasonable price He will be my FIRST call next time I have a plumbing issue!

Jorge fit me into his busy schedule when I discovered my outdoor spigot was leaking so bad I was loosing gallons of water per hour! He replaced my 3 year old spigot with a superior part and explained what he was doing as he did the work. He went above and beyond after discovering and repairing (no extra charge) a slight leak in my incoming water line. I got great service from Jorge - a speedy response, repair fixed and an education too! He was also ready and willing to discus questions that I had about the plumbing system of my house. I highly recommend Jorge!

Punctual, efficient, and very honest. My kitchen sink disposal was not working, and I was going to replace it. But Jorge told me he was going to fix it and save me the expense of buying a new one; and he did it in less than an hour. He could had sold me a new one and installed it, but he was honest and fixed it. He also removed my old toilet and installed a new one I had purchased. He did an excellent job, took the old one to recycle properly. Additionally, he uninstalls the old shower and installed a new one with an extension that elevated this fixture. All work done in a couple of hours, no mess left behind, and all fixtures/ appliances have been working perfectly since then. I recommend him, and I will request his services again when I am ready to install outdoor bibs once I get the floor nearby ready.

Jorge re-routed my main water line so it entered the house through the crawlspace instead of going through a bedroom first (as it was when I purchased the house). Great communication both during the bid and during the job itself.

Jorge from Plumbing Craftsman was fantastic. He went above and beyond in making sure everything was done correctly and to code. The installation of the water heater took longer than expected because of some issues getting the drain hose set up (issues were preexisting from the old water heater). Jorge took the time needed to get it right, and even with the extra time only charged me for the agreed upon price. I would recommend Plumbing Craftsman to anyone and Jorge will always be my go to plumber.

Jorge, the owner of the company is an honest man who takes pride in helping customers. Who would go through the trouble of talking on the phone and solving the problem and yet not getting paid? Jorge is exception here. I got his details from Next door app and I had already mentioned to the landlord about the loose tap but it was repeatedly ignored. Ultimately the tap came off and after repeatedly tightening it with the allen wrench, it did not sit back in the stem.I was left with just the stem. I contacted several plumbers to get the issue fixed but all were charging arm and leg. I tried my luck and called up Jorge. He was very warm and cordial. I sent him images on the phone and he directly told me save yourself some money and get a new faucet and replace the tap. The old tap had manufacturing defect and it did not last even 2 months. I got a new faucet with tap and replaced the tap. All thanks to this honest man who helped me. This act definitely puts faith in humanity that good people do exist and are willing to help others.

As on previous repair jobs, he answered my questions quickly, quoted a very fair price, arrived on time, and finished the job quickly! Charged $140 for 19mins of labor after telling us there was no minimum trip charge. Rip off.

Installed brass value and stainless steel ice make hose for fridge. Fixed shut off value under kitchen sink and adjusted pressure to kitchen sink. Fast, efficent and excellent craftsmanship. Highly recommend and reasonable priced for work preformed.
