Best Water Meter in Plano TX

These guys are crooks, stay away. I had a blockage in a rental property and asked Triple Crown Plumbing to inspect and to clear it. I was out of town and they were aware of the fact that I had a tenant there without working plumbing and that I was in a bad situation that needed to be fixed ASAP.

After arriving, they called and told me they were unable to clear the blockage and that most likely I had a collapsed main drain line, but it was late in the day (close to 5pm) and they could not inspect via camera until the next day. The next morning I received a call from Asa who told me that after video inspection, there was mud and debris in the drain indicative of a collapse, and he quoted me nearly $6,000 to tunnel in from the rear to replace that section of pipe.

I decided to have another plumbing company come in for a second opinion, and they discovered that there was in fact a blockage and were able to clear it. They also ran a camera down the line and confirmed there was no drain damage and that it was completely sound. I spoke with Asa afterwards, and made him aware of the fact that there was no drain damage, and that one of his competitors was able to complete the job for me. My offer to him was that if he wanted to make it right, he could refund the fee I paid them for work they were not competent enough to complete in the first place. I never heard from Asa again.

So, after Triple Crown Plumbing tried to steal $6,000 from me, they then had to audacity to not even refund the $250 blockage clearing fee that I paid them, when they did not even clear the blockage they were paid to clear. I have no doubt that Triple Crown Plumbing attempted to take advantage of my situation, and lied to me in order to make a few thousand extra bucks which is pretty despicable. Avoid this company at all costs.

Due to the recent February Winter Storm, a frozen pipe had thawed and burst. I found Thorough Plumbing after calling approx 20 plumbers since many Texans were going through similar problems. They were able to come to my home the very next day & correct the situation (I was incredibly fortunate with that). They were honest, professional and very nice. All costs and procedures were explained clearly. Their pricing was very fair. I will be definitely using Thorough Plumbing in the future.

Just wanted to leave another review. We have continued to use Thorough Plumbing since our last review and Jeff continues to provide excellent service and has continued to be very dependable. Will continue to use Thorough Plumbing in the future.

Mr Fredrick Dandridge came to service our needs, He was very courteous, patient and informative. He answered so many questions, and cleared up a lot of my concerns regarding the plumbing in the Home. He also advised on the preventive maintenance that was truly a plus. it was so nice to come in contact with someone that didn't do a rush job and explained everything he was doing. i am very pleased with the work done and look forward to working with him again Thanks AAA

Great company with wonderful workers. Recently installed a new water heater. They were able to fit us in same day. Professional, timely and respectable. Highly recommend and will continue to use for our future needs.

Made an appointment for leak detection which was confirmed by text message in the days leading up to the appointment. I took the day off to be there. When they did not show up I called back and was told that the technician was sick. It is a big deal for me to take a day off and schedule this in. I am now resetting the appointment for next week with one of their competitors (Legacy Plumbing), who I expect to actually show up.
I know that may expectations may be high, but I am a business owner who has clients who make appointments to be seen by me (Optometrist) and I have missed 15 unscheduled work days over the prior 35 years of seeing patients. I expect a similar level of motivation and professionalism from the people we work with (though I know , as an employer, this somehow never happens with paid employees).

Alex and Jeremiah did a fantastic job for us! We first had low water pressure and then a few weeks later all the pipes in the house started rattling.Alex clearly explained the cause and what he recommended.Gave us a great deal on replacing the pressure regulator valve along with two new water heaters.Once the job was complete Alex explained how everything worked. For such a big job the work was done quickly and professionally. Alex and Jeremiah left the install areas very clean.I would highly recommend Legacy Plumbing!

Jack and his team was truly amazing. The line from my meter to the house had persistent leaks before I turned to Jack. Everyone was just patching the leaks every other year. Not only did Jack find the leak, but was able to ripped it out entire line like magic and pulled in a new line in one swoop. The best part is, he didn't have to dig trenches in my yard to do it. Simply a hole at the meter and a hole in my flower bed next to the house.

I have since use Jack for other plumbing needs and will continue to use him. Thanks, Jack!!!
