Best A/C System Maintenance in Pittsburgh PA

I have used Lakewood Mechanical for many years. new HVAC, New gas line, and most recently a sewer back-up problem that Chuck (plumbing genius) was able to pin-point and repair, cutting only one square foot of basement floor. Polite, friendly, clean. could not ask for more. Jim Bashline .

I had a pipe burst on Christmas Eve and called McVay Plumbing Company. They responded very fast and fixed the problem immediately. The Service Technician, Mitch Wigginton, was very professional and helpful.

One of the coldest days this year our furnace wouldn't blow hot air, we were freezing. They called ahead to tell us they were on the way. Came promptly, very professional ,friendly, and instructive.Found the problem and fixed it in a timely manner. Reasonable charge. They offer a package to clean and service your furnace and air conditioner for $200.00 a year. We will definitely sign up for this dervice.

Called Pittsburgh’s Best to replace a leaky water heater. They arrived the same day, did the job, and were out at a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be using them again if needed.

They communicate well, let you know when to expect them. I'm pleased with the work completed, they were professional and personable. Will definitely work with them again.

Had water pressure issues , they came out next day
and replaced the pressure relief valve to try to fix
pressure issue even though there was no guarantee
which they told me upfront. It solved a little bit of the
pressure issue. They recommend I call the water
authorities to have them check the pressure at the meter which I did and there was plenty pressure at the meter. So I called back to South Hills Plumbing
and talked with them . They sent the same plumber
out to trouble shoot. The issue was the new
pressure relief valve was bad put another new one
in and the pressure was great. They did this at no
charge to me. Highly recommend this company for being honest and having great integrity.

Brandon of Mr. Rooter replaced a pump in our septic tank. There are few people these days that know the inner workings of a septic system but Brandon was very knowledgeableabout a septic system. He installed a good quality pump, explained a few things he found undesirable about the previous installation, explained what he was going to do, took his time to do a very quality job and was a personable young man. He represented Mr. Rooter very well and would use this company again.

The installation team (Ryan and others) were excellent. We had to insist on a larger AC Unit, as there was unaccounted square footage. Also surprised that there was drilling through an outside wall that was not explained when getting and signing the bid. STILL....I'd recommend them highly- the price was very reasonable- definitely less than others! And the work was completed efficiently and with no worries by an excellent team of workers. Would definitely use South Side Plumbing and Heating again!!

Stephen Thompson has been in my house before he came today because we had another back up and he knew exactly what to do he also told us how we could fix it for good which will probably do in the future but for now Steve is our hero he does everything right he tells everything he shows everything very trustworthy I will always ask for Steve when I called Gillece

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.
