I hired another plumber to fix a number of problems that I was having. This other plumber showed up and fixed some things across two days, but cancelled a number of times in between. After the first plumber cancelled on me three times on a row, I gave up and called Cuccaro Plumbing.

I wish I had called them from the start. Someone showed up the next day and fixed my problem (a leaking toilet) for less than the first plumber was going to charge.

Nice guys but super expensive for helping me locate a leak and just left with an educated guess after experimenting shutting off valves for a few minutes.

I normally don't write reviews, but these guys went above and beyond. Came same day, on time, super nice, and not a typical commission / sales plumber that claims you need thousands in work when you just want them to come flush your main line. I tried to fix my main by myself, only making it worse. Black sludge backed up into my basement everywhere. I couldn't use any water in my home and was in a complete panic. Came same day, ran a camera and fixed this huge catastrophe in under an hour. Glad I found an honest, company with workers who knew exactly what to do to get my house up and running again. Matt Mertz Plumbing was recommended to us by two of our clients so we reached out when we needed to address an issue pertaining to our storm/sewer lateral. Technician, Chris Sperl, stopped by our home and gave me excellent advice, though it cost him the opportunity to do the work I thought I wanted. Chris was experienced, friendly, and professional. Had water pressure issues , they came out next day
and replaced the pressure relief valve to try to fix
pressure issue even though there was no guarantee
which they told me upfront. It solved a little bit of the
pressure issue. They recommend I call the water
authorities to have them check the pressure at the meter which I did and there was plenty pressure at the meter. So I called back to South Hills Plumbing
and talked with them . They sent the same plumber
out to trouble shoot. The issue was the new
pressure relief valve was bad put another new one
in and the pressure was great. They did this at no
charge to me. Highly recommend this company for being honest and having great integrity.

Bill and team took on our project of moving our laundry room from the basement up to the 2nd story and into our master bedrooms closet. Can't say enough good things about his work. He is very knowledgable, takes his time for accuracy, cleans worksite up when complete, good communicator, trustworthy, friendly, cares for your project like its his own. Would easily hire him again. Professional, this crew came in well organized, with a plan. They worked quickly, finished quickly and left my basement cleaner than what it was. The work they did was beautiful and looked like it could appear on a home improvement show. They are honest and respectful and I would hire them again without hesitation!

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.
