Best Water Heater Repair in Pittsburgh PA

Jerry is absolutely amazing! I would recommend him time and time again!!

I had Roto Rooter out this past Sunday because my main drain was backed up to the point where water was backing up into my basement and garage. When the guy from Roto Rooter came out he attempted to snake the drain, told us that it was too backed up to do anything about, and then proceeded to tell me that my driveway would have to be dug up for the pipe to be replaced. He told me that it would be 5200 to repair, looked at me and my boyfriend, and asked us how we wanted to proceed so he could get it scheduled. Obviously we wanted a second opinion.

I called Jerry on Monday and scheduled time for him to come out on Wednesday morning. He brought a much better machine, hooked it all up and in what seemed like no time at all he said that it felt like the blockage was cleared. He then went to the different drains in the basement and garage and put a hose down them to clear the gunk that had backed up as a result of the main line. Flushed toilets (and fixed the one in the basement that wasn't working!!), had me run a load of laundry, we ran water from the bathroom upstairs etc., all so that he felt confident that our problem was resolved.

On top of all that, Jerry was probably one of the nicest, most personable people that I've ever had out to perform repairs at my home. I would recommend him to anyone! I felt comfortable with his work, would trust his word, and put all my plumbing needs in his hands. He could have easily told me that there was a bigger issue like RR had said, quoted me a lower price than 5200, and i would have been none the wiser and thought great, i saved some money at least. But he didn't, instead he helped us out and got us fixed for barely a fraction of what we were initially told.

Highly recommend. Called me back very quickly when I had a bad plumbing issue. Price was also very reasonable considering the amount of work that was needed. Honest and transparent with me about what was needed. Very satisfied with the end result.

Plumbing emergencies are stressful, but Stahl Plumbing and Drain corrected my issue in a timely manner and for a reasonable price. Dave, Cory, and Caitlin are knowledgeable, professional, and quick to respond. I would recommend this company to anyone finding themselves in need of a plumber. I will certainly call them again if another plumbing situation arises.

I usually do not write reviews but since there are a lot of bad companies out there, I felt compelled to tell of our experience with K-Plumbing. They answered on the first call and were very polite. I had an assessment set up for the next day. They arrived promptly within the scheduled hour block. The gentlemen were very professional and gave me all options. I chose a 40 gallon tank, which to my sheer delight was delivered within an hour of my decision to get a new water heater. From arrival to completion, it was only a little over 3 hours. And the best part was they did not bring a cheap water heater for installation, but a top of the line product. I could not be happier with my choice to use this company. First of all folks I'm not even from Pittsburgh, but we are visiting some friends in the area. Found the site and called when my friends toilet went all nasty. Not the thing to have happen when you have guests over for the week. My friend made the call and they showed up super fast. Tried to help contain the mess before it got way out of hand (OMG that was nasty- those people have iron stomachs for sure). These guys were so professional - and they did an awesome job. They ended up having to take the whole toilet up to get a diaper out of the toilet that swelled up half way down the pipe. They cleaned up the job (too bad she couldn't convince them to do the floors while they were there) and were super friendly and professional. This is honestly my first review. I figured a business that went that far out of their way was worth doing a review. Thank you Pittsburgh Plumbing!

I found out I had a gas leak in my home around 11am in the morning. The gas company obviously shut the gas off until the leak could be identified and and the line could be repaired. I immediately started calling places because it’s been so cold out and knew it could get to zero or below at night. Orion Plumbing called me back immediately sent someone out within an hour or so. He quickly found the issue and spent all day replacing the outside pipe leading into the house (snow on the ground and temperature between 15 and 20) so that the gas company could come back out before it got dark so we’d have heat overnight. He was so nice, letting me know every step of the way what he was doing. He even stayed until the gas company came to make sure everything was alright, and tested the furnace, stove, and hot water tank to make sure they were all working correctly before he left. Knowing this is a ridiculously busy season for them, I don’t have words to express how grateful I am that they came out to fix it that day. Fady, the owner who was also busy, stopped to bring supplies, and was also extremely nice. I really can’t say enough good things, but would definitely recommend them, and I will be using them for any plumbing concerns I have in the future.

I needed some plumbing work done that I considered doing myself but just did not have the confidence I could do it without messing something up. After consulting with my wife, it was decided we should let a professional do it. This company was just that, professionals! I could not have been happier with the service!
