Can’t say enough good things about McVay Plumbing and Cody. They were very responsive to our initial inquiry, and able to schedule quickly. Cody was great to work with - both professional and knowledgeable. We’ve been dealing with a bad expansion tank and cut off valves at our sinks and toilets. Cody figured out the issue in about 5 minutes and had it fixed in 20-30 minutes. Highly recommend. McVay will be our first call for any plumbing needs in the future.

I was having issues with my 18-year old air conditioning unit and called John here at South Hills Plumbing & Heating and he came right out. We could have kept the older unit going, but John was able to quote me a new unit on the spot which was competitive with what we have been quoted on in the past.

John scheduled for an installation a few days later and returned with (2) other technicians to help remove the old unit and install the new one. They did a great job with cleanup and now my house is so much more cooler than it was before.

I scheduled an “A/C tune up” since I had bought my home recently and not had the unit checked out. Mike and Tom came by as scheduled and immediately got to checking it out and also took a look at my furnace, explaining everything along the way. They provided peace of mind and educated me on how to maintain my appliances, and discussed options for when/if something were to happen to them. Very professional.:40 minutes of total gentle labor plus 40 minutes of driving to pick up the piece and bring it back to install it. A small resistor, which should not cost more than a few dollars. Total: US$ 399. My bad, I should have asked the hourly rate.
