I had a pipe burst in my home this winter and Fady at Orion was the only plumber who was able to provide an emergency service the same day. He arrived within a few hours and quickly diagnosed then fixed the problem. We hired him a few weeks later for lingering plumbing issues around the house. After another plumber backed out at the last minute to fix our sewer pipe one day before closing on our home, McVay came to the rescue. They fixed the sewer pipe after hours for an extremely reasonable price enabling us to pass inspection and close on time! What a group, rare to find this level of service in Pittsburgh.

The two men were very friendly and professional. They made sure to wear masks (COVID...) the whole time and took care of our issue quickly without making a mess either. Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. We have been hiring Professional Plumbing and Heating for 20 years plus! Of all the variety of services we have required as homeowners, Gary and his crew has the been the most dependable, personable and professional out of the whole bunch. I recommend them every chance I get.

Had water pressure issues , they came out next day
and replaced the pressure relief valve to try to fix
pressure issue even though there was no guarantee
which they told me upfront. It solved a little bit of the
pressure issue. They recommend I call the water
authorities to have them check the pressure at the meter which I did and there was plenty pressure at the meter. So I called back to South Hills Plumbing
and talked with them . They sent the same plumber
out to trouble shoot. The issue was the new
pressure relief valve was bad put another new one
in and the pressure was great. They did this at no
charge to me. Highly recommend this company for being honest and having great integrity.

Service was good and quick, but they ended up charging me $99 for some kind of membership fee that I was never told about and didn't want. I called them a few times to get it removed, and they kept telling me they would inform management. Pretty sure they tack on extra fees just high enough to improve revenue and just low enough that no one would bother pursuing it too far.I mean, the shower works now, but otherwise this place is a shady scam.

They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.
