Woke up to a furnace not working, called Lakewood Mechanical and they were at my home withing hours. Prompt service, excellent repair, and courteous service people. I will be recommending this company to all of my friends.

Incredibly unprofessional. They are working next door to me and I was terrifyingly woken up this morning by one of their employees yelling at me, through a window near my bedroom in the rear of the house, in order to inform me I could not use the drainage system in my home for SIX hours because it would cause a mess on their end, and if I need to use the bathroom I had to do it now.

Had I been contacted properly in advance this wouldn’t be an issue. This company is incompetent, and they will likely have to repeat this job because there is no likelihood they successfully contacted our upstairs neighbors to let them know. They didn’t give proper notice or take the time to do so. I would never book this company or recommend it to anyone else because of their unprofessionalism yelling through our back window, which at first actually made us feel threatened.

I found out I had a gas leak in my home around 11am in the morning. The gas company obviously shut the gas off until the leak could be identified and and the line could be repaired. I immediately started calling places because it’s been so cold out and knew it could get to zero or below at night. Orion Plumbing called me back immediately sent someone out within an hour or so. He quickly found the issue and spent all day replacing the outside pipe leading into the house (snow on the ground and temperature between 15 and 20) so that the gas company could come back out before it got dark so we’d have heat overnight. He was so nice, letting me know every step of the way what he was doing. He even stayed until the gas company came to make sure everything was alright, and tested the furnace, stove, and hot water tank to make sure they were all working correctly before he left. Knowing this is a ridiculously busy season for them, I don’t have words to express how grateful I am that they came out to fix it that day. Fady, the owner who was also busy, stopped to bring supplies, and was also extremely nice. I really can’t say enough good things, but would definitely recommend them, and I will be using them for any plumbing concerns I have in the future.

Zoom Drain from Pittsburgh, PA, is a fantastic plumbing service. In light of an emergency, they were able to send a plumbing technician out within the hour. I found this service on Google and was able to set up a quick service appointment via text, which can also be done by phone. Everybody knows how stressful a plumbing situation can be, and many times, it can be very costly. Zoom Drain was able to work with me in terms of financing as I was in a bind. They made a call to their office, and I explained my needs; they worked with me to split the cost. Not only was that excellent customer service, but their quality of work was great. They were able to identify my issues and gave me some pointers on how to mitigate future problems. I'm thankful I was able to get this fixed today, and it has substantially reduced my stress. They did a great job at reasonable prices, and they're nice to the annoying cats! After they updated our dryer fixtures, we had them back to do the kitchen, and now our furnace!

South hills plumbing was on time and great w our boiler. Pricing was very fair and they wore masks for our safety. Would use again
