Best Drain Issues in Pittsburgh PA

Prior to the sell of our home, we unfortunately failed the required water/sewer line test. Our municipality gave us 2 options: 1 - reline/replace the entirety of line to the property line (40 ft) or 2 - dig it up and replace yourself.

While we were eager to DIY, we realized the scope of the work including complexity and impending deadline for our close date (3 weeks). After several phone calls and quotes later, we found ourselves selecting Krupp Whitney for a few important reasons: they offered trenchless sewer lining; they were extensive and informative during the quoting process; they were available to meet the deadline; their pricing was fair and affordable.

We spoke with Nathan who was professional throughout the process. His team showed up during the scheduled times and came prepared to work. The project took 2 days to complete and the crew was courteous/respectful of the property. Specifically, the excavation crew went the extra distance to ensure our driveway (gravel) was appropriately graded and topped with fresh stone - showing minimal if any, disruption.

I had a very stubborn clog that effected my shower and toilet, called McVay to have it taken care of the next day. Mitchell arrived 40 minutes before the expected time frame (greatly appreciated) and was an absolutely pleasure to work with - courteous, honest and very professional. Great employees do great work, and that why I'll always be calling them for service.

The Technicians at Cuccaro Plumbing installed a gas line and connected our new cooktop as we were upgrading from an electric cooktop. They also installed a garbage disposer. This company is legit. They had to deal with my insurance company and the difficulties that brings (trouble getting a hold of someone, misinformation, etc) and they were still able to replace our water heater under 24hrs of them getting the call. If it wasn't for the insurance company involved they probably could have done it quicker. Highly recommend!

We have an old house with lots of repairs over the years. The guys at Jaros were responsive to our inspection request and helped us prioritize projects. When we discovered a damaged cast iron drain in a wall, they came out asap to replace it. Thanks guys.

I called MMP around 8 am and spoke to Cindy. She had me take some pictures of my water heater to email over to them. Within 45 minutes I spoke to Diane, she gave me the price and said she could have someone out to my house by early afternoon the same day. Diane called me back at roughly 11:30 am to let me know a crew had finished a bigger job early and could be at my house in 45 minutes (they got here in 30!).

Jim and Joe were AWESOME! We went over the issues and they answered ALL of our questions and then some. Within an hour and a half they had the old water tank out and the new one installed along with a pressure regulator. Their work was EXCELLENT and the price was good! They will be my go to for any future plumbing needs. I asked MMP to get me a quote for a new furnace and AC unit, I will be sure to edit the review and let everyone know how that goes.

Vince is very reliable and as many others have said, really knows his stuff and what he's talking about. He's great at communicating when setting up an appointment and won't ghost you. He took care of resetting a toilet and installing a kitchen faucet for us. We highly recommend his services and will definitely be repeat customers.

We have used Brickhaas Pluming on two separate occasions now. I could not be happier with their service. They do quality work at a fair price. They are responsive when you contact them. Every technician that I have delt with (four in total, including Gary) are extremely knowledgeable and professional. I will not go anyplace else wile I am in the Pittsburgh area. Highly recommended!!

Gillece services came to my home and installed a filtration system for both my water and my furnace/ac (2 separate units). The technicians were polite and worked hard, and even got the job done earlier than forecasted! My dishes are cleaner, my skin is clearer, and my dogs hair (as well as dust!) is NOWHERE to be found! So glad I took their recommendation on these systems - it definitely wasn't cheap, but both the results with the systems along with the quality of work (and warranty) justified it all! Thank you!!!

John was friendly, and communicated effectively about the product/service, and the option of financing, the tax rebate eligible with certain products and how the warranty can be used as a selling point- if that were needed down the road. I can honestly say I have a good understanding of all that was offered. I now feel confident in my decision to choose Sullivan for this large purchase. Everything from the car air freshener with the contact info, to making the appointment, to getting the estimate, was friendly, smooth and efficient.

Had what seemed to be a pipe burst but ended up being a pressure reduction valve breaking. They were on site and fixed the problem within 3 hours of the initial call. Tom, the plumber was professional and courteous. I would hire again.

They do an ok job, if you can get them to return your phone call and actually come out to your home. I've been trying to get them out to my home for a month now and they have only returned my calls twice-once to take my info and tell me they would be out later in the week, and a second time several weeks later to tell me that they still intended to come out even though they never called to let me know they weren't coming the first time. Since then I have left more voicemails and none have been returned. Our landlord used them and we thought they did ok work so when we decided to demo the bathroom at our new home they were at the top of my list to contact. It appears that they don't want or don't need the business though. They have wasted our time. Don't waste yours.

The staff worked very diligently and even came back after the job was done to fix something. However, for the amount that we paid for the entire job to be done, the overall quality really disappointed us. The cement that was put into the basement was very rough, and there didn't seem to be an effort to smooth it out to the existing cement.
