Best Any Plumbing Service in Pittsburgh PA

Kevin came to install a new toilet for us - he was absolutely wonderful to work with! Called 20-30 minutes before arriving, was quick to install, and cleaned up the work area before leaving. McVay also got us in quickly when we needed our new toilet installed. I would recommend McVay and will be using them in the future!

CROOKS!!! Stay clear of this company. Quoted me $10,000 for a new furnace. Shopped around and was quoted $3,100 and $3,400 from two other reputable companies. How many ppl has Gillece taken advantage of?? STAY AWAY

My furnace went out and Steve showed up and had it back in service the same day, within 1 hour at a very reasonable price. Used this company when my hot water heater went out and received superior service this time as well. Will certainly be using 5 star again and will be referring them to my friends.

Bill has been my plumber for many years. He is responsive and has always done a great job. He just completed replacing a sewer line and did a fantastic job. Worked long and hard to get the job done. Everything was very clean after they left. He quoted a very good price and no over runs. I feel I can trust him. And I highly recommend him and his wife.

Brandon was wonderful to work with. He replaced an old cast iron drain pipe in our basement and did a number of other smaller projects. He's responsive, informative, and polite.

Great job installing our new hot water tank. Installation Tech was professional and efficient. Cleaned up and was on his way, hardly knew he was there. Have used before for bathroom work. Definitely recommend if you need plumbing work done.

Cliff was very courteous and displayed great knowledge of his work. He took the time to explain the root cause of the problem and identified another issue and resolved in a timely manner. Without him identifying the hidden issue we would’ve had a more severe damage from a slow leak in our upstairs bathroom. Definitely recommend to anyone. He gets the job done right the first time with integrity.

Marcus Bland was the repair man. He arrived in the time estimated. He was SO very pleasant on this Easter Sunday morning! He was professional, and he explained the issue well. The price quoted was the price I paid. I would be happy to have him do any necessary repair work in the future.

These are the most inefficient, disrespectful, unorganized and forgetful group of plumbers in Pittsburgh. If they show up, you may get an hour or two of solid work from them. Otherwise, they are the least professional plumbing bunch that I’ve met in all of my work and construction experience. Almost everything they installed or repaired is unfinished or leaking. Did I mention they have no concept of time management?

South Hills Plumbing and Heating replaced all the faucets in my home. They were on time, courteous and I had no clean up when they were completed with the task. The best part of the entire experience was the final cost. I highly recommend this business.

Jason at Reliable ripped me off.

I had a gas leak in the line in my front yard. Jason came quickly when I called, and underbid other, more reputable, plumbers. We discussed how he would dig up my yard, and replace the entire line. We discussed where he might put the extra dirt. He gave me a quote of $3,600 - $3,900.

He was on time to do the work, but he decided it was not necessary to replace the line, or do much excavating. He spent 9 hours total, and he put a 'sheath' on the line.

Then - He charged me the originally quoted $3,600. There was no excavation of the line. That is $400 an hour. My husband paid him. {cringe} I do not have a new gas line - I have a stop gap.

I've tried to reach out to Jason - it went straight to voicemail, and no call back.

I'm a Catholic school teacher. I work all day, for minimal money to help kids. I don't EVER rip anyone off. Apparently I'm so naive people like Jason feel free to overcharge me.

The little I have, I earn without being a thief or a liar.

Had simple leak in the bathroom. Taggart quoted multiple thousands of dollars wanting to cut out the ceiling below. ...then I had a different plumber come out and fix it for 1 hour service. Its been 18 months and still no more leaks. It never leaked below the bathroom, so don't know why Taggart wanted to access from underneath anyway. UPDATED 05-30-23. MR TAGGART. YOU WANT ME TO CONTACT YOU SO YOU CAN HELP?? AFTER IT WAS FIXED FOR 1 HOUR SERVICE AND YOU WANTED TO CHARGE THOUSANDS. IT WAS 18 MONTHS AGO!!!

For the last 5 years Brad has been my service technician. This is awesome having the same service technician.
