Lapin Services Plumber
We called Lapin Services for a quote to pump out of septic tank, we also called others. There customer service is the reason I called them back Friday, I was in no rush it was just a preventive measure in good timing. I had an appt. for Monday 8-10am the driver Daniel R. called 25 min before to let me know he was on his way which I thought was awesome. Daniel showed up around 8am Monday introduced himself and got to work, only to find out the company that pumped our tank last time sealed the lid permanently….. Wow what a way to start a Monday right. Well Daniel continued to chip away and chip away for about 45 minutes until he was able to remove the lid, (this should have only taken maybe 5 min to complete) all this time working up quite a sweat, BUT get this NEVER complained about it only continued to finish his job. I have great respect for Daniel as a hard working person and his professionalism towards his company and work really shows. Go figure someone with probably the dirtiest job around can still represent his company with high standards and still give 100%, If we only had 10 million more like Daniel.I would and will highly recommend Lapin Services, Thanks again Daniel R.

I was fortunate enough to have Alphonso come and install a new water heater for my mother’s home. He was very patient and took his time to explain everything to me. I really appreciate him and will only deal with Reliance for any plumbing issues we have.

Tobias was right on time and got right to work. Totally professional and friendly In demeanor as he gave me confidence and explained/answered all my water heater questions pleasantly and thoroughly. I went with the company based on David Kay’s quick response to my inquiry, his unhurried and helpful info he gave me as I made my decision. In less than a day, Tobias was at my house and now I’ve got a new, up to code water heater and feel safer now that my old one is gone. Reasonably-priced service also.

Best Plumbing & Remodeling, Inc. Plumber
After being quoted $771 and charged an 89 visit fee to fix a small leak in my attic. I contacted Best Plumbing for a quote and the gave me a quote over the phone and set up an appt. The tech came in promptly on time took 30 min to fix my issue and charged me the same price I was quoted over the phone. I was sooo Happy to find a company that was not trying to over charge me and take advantage of my situation. Thank you for your great service and being an honest company. Definitely will be my to go in the event I ever need any further work.

Adams & Son Plumbing Service Plumber
Pinhole leak in a copper pipe - $143 to fix. It took them under 1/2 hour to fix it. I assume that if they worked a full 8 hours on a project, it would cost 16 X $143 or $2,288.
I'm not sure what other plumbers charge.

A1 Service Plumbing Plumber
I needed a second opinion, they went above and beyond to help us. A technician came out after his normal hours to find out leak, they were patient and understanding of our situation. We were informed of every step and had everything fully explained throughout the entire process. They were always available to answer the phone and always had somebody that could come out if we needed something at a certain moment , they went far beyond what previous plumbers have done and their range and we are forever grateful for their hard work.

Brownie's Septic & Plumbing Plumber
We were having an emergency. Brownie was out the next day right on time. Marvin Baisden did an unbelievable job. I told him we added an lid section with an access and diligently found it after a lot of hard work. He did everything he could to protect our grass in the process. Others would have given up and punched a hole in the lid, I have experienced those types of techs. Marvin plugged away until he found it. The is something weird about my setup which made it hard to figure out. He thoughtfully discussed ways to identify the location for the next tech. With the receipt, he sent a picture of the location to minimize the impact to the yard the next time. Truly professional. We are up and running.

Grace Plumbing Plumber
I had called another Plumber prior to getting in touch with Ken of Grace plumbing and i thank the stars that he was the one I got to work with! Amazing and quick service with such a authentic touch. I had recently moved in to my first home and I was shocked, when trying to get my washer and dryer installed, that the valve was no good. Ken was flexible and responsive when it came to scheduling, even being available the day I called. Straight forward, asked for pictures, gave a fair and affordable quote and for the job done in less then an hour while remaining informative and courteous. I have my forever plumber now and I’ll be recommending him to others for sure. Very kind and trustworthy service! Thank you so much again. I’ll never have anxiety with calling a plumber again cause i know Grace Plumbing has got my back!

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Plumber
Update- I received my $501 refund as promised. I think that the company could do better in their communication but they did make it right for me.

On March 21, 2023, I used Roto Rooter to help me with some water damage. The initial gentleman that came to my home, Mike, was awesome! He found where the water was entering (from underground) and asked if I wanted his company to come out and clear out the drywall and air out the issue. I said yes, and then the next thing I knew I had a project manager, Yesenia, come out that day. It cost me $575. Yesenia told me that she would be with me from start to finish in the project. She indicated another group would come out to dehumidify the walls and use a microbial substance for any mold. She asked for my credit card and put a $1500 charge on my account which she stated would be the maximum charge. She also took my homeowners insurance information and said that she was going to help me get my insurance company to help alleviate the costs; she did not.

A team came a day later and started to tear out walls. One wall that they removed led out to the garage. They put a plastic covering over the hole which did not stay put no matter how many times I tried to nail it back onto the wall. The workers came and went. They were professional and polite, but the communication was terrible. I never knew when they were coming. They would tell me one day and show up the next. They would indicate morning and come in the late afternoon which caused me to constantly readjust my schedule. When I made an inquiry to Yesenia, she apologized, and phone calls were made to me by the workers to clarify the appointments.

Yesenia said that I needed a different company to fix the water problem. She recommended Elite Contracting Group who came out to survey the damage and see if they could fix the problem. The person I dealt with, Gio, I waited, patiently, for ten days and reached out. No response, I didn’t actually get his quote until May 25th. I called Yesenia in the interim to explain that I was not getting any help, so she recommended RACS. John, from RACS came to my house on May 4, and said that he thought it was a foundation issue. He recommended LRE. I contacted them, but they said it wouldn't fix the problem. I called John from RAC to just give me a bid to close the walls, and he never responded.

I was at a loss as to what to do, so I called Yesenia back. She told me that it wasn't her job to help me find a company, but she was helping me voluntarily. She indicated that her work with me was finished. Honestly, what the heck does a project manager do if not try and manage a project from start to finish as she initially indicated? I told her that because of all the storms and the hole from the inside of my house to the garage, moisture was coming into the house and I was going to have to pay for the dehumidifying and microbial sanitation again. She said nothing except, “oh.”

I am now over two months in on this project and it still is not finished. I had to find my own company, Serve Pro who will be fixing the issue. As a person who teaches interpersonal communication at a local college, I would like to point out that Roto Rooter is poor with its communication and customer service. They are great at starting projects, but they don’t follow up at all. If a person is not asking questions they will not get any assistance. When the project manager indicates a maximum of $1500 on a credit card that is not accurate, I spent over $3000. I also wonder if the company may have even caused damage to my house by letting all this moisture from the outside into my house because of the holes.

I am very disappointed by the customer service I have received. Language matters. What people say and do mean something. I would expect that a company as large as yours would have training to that effect. As it stands now, I feel like I was cheated out of $3000, and that doesn't make for a good Google review.
