Jimmy was the tech who came to install an in-line water filter for my icemaker. He arrived on-time, and was very professional, but also very nice. The tech came to check my gas hot water heater fault code which indicated a fault in the air flow sensor which I had to show him, he said he would check to see if that part is available. When he returned about 15 minutes later I was told the parts are obsolete and I need a new water heater so I scheduled an appointment to have it replaced. I asked him where the sensor is located and he told me it is in the gas valve controller. After the tech charged me a service fee and left I looked for the sensor for my unit which was on top by the vent blower . I looked for a clog and found the vacuum hose came loose. I put the hose back on and the heater worked just fine. The tech didn’t know what he was doing or was just trying to make me buy something I didn’t need.
