Update:
After seeing this review, they gave me a call, apologized for the misdiagnosis, and offered to do whatever it took to make up for it (the follow-up call alone is enough for me). Mistakes happen all the time, and the way they responded to this one shows a lot of care for their customers, professionalism, and integrity.
Considering that, I'm certain it was an honest mistake, rather than trying to push full-installation sales, but I am still glad I got a second opinion before deciding to have a whole new HVAC system installed.

Original Review:
I was told by the technician that my refrigerant was low, meaning the line was likely leaking, and that I needed to replace my air conditioner and furnace, estimating $9000 for the installation. I paid the $95 diagnostic fee and they left.

The actual problem was that the air filter's MERV rating was too high for my system, and the furnace blower motor was failing, causing the evaporator coil to freeze over. The problem was fixed by replacing the filter with a cheap fiberglass one, and installing a new furnace blower motor. All in, it was a $200 fix.

The technicians were on time and polite though, so credit where it's due.

He did an excellent job.

Craig is extremely professional and competitively priced for running a water line to a refrigerator in a historic home! He was on time and under budget! He even meticulously swept up after he was finished! Very impressed and would highly recommend to anyone for their plumbing needs!

We had a pipe bust and needed a plumber asa possible, I called 3 places before contacting Plumb Crazy and they were either booked up or didn’t answer. Plumb Crazy answered promptly and got someone out within a couple of hours. The 2 guys who came out were so kind and knowledgeable. They had everything repaired in no time. I felt like the price was a little high but I’m sure anywhere else would’ve been just as much. I will certainly be using them again in the future.
