Best Sewer System in Oakland CA

we have been customers of Albert Nahmen plumbing for almost 20 years and we've always had stellar service. Unfortunately, the last time we called the company, we experienced what we would call unprofessional workmanship… We were having an annual inspection done, which is part of the bronze service program, and the technician seemed clueless. He told us we would need to have a new faucet installed in the kitchen because we don't have cold water going to it. Yes, we do have cold water going to it but he was looking at the wrong valve. He also said we needed a new garbage disposal and could replace it with a 1 hp. We currently have a 2.5 hp. Why would we want to go down to one horsepower? And how could he tell we needed a new one ? And by the way the garbage disposal is perfectly fine. He also told us at the conclusion of the the inspection that he had come up with a list of parts and services that could be taken care of. About five days later, the company called me, wanting to know if I would like to provide payment and a scheduling of an appointment to do those things. I told him I was not interested, and they said that I had signed for it. Very misleading. Not some thing I have ever experienced with this company before. I did ask our technician about a few other professionals who worked for the company and he said he did not know any of them, and that they probably had left after the change in ownership. If this is true, this is very sad because AN had a lot of staff that worked a long time for the company. It seems that when the ownership changed, so did the company itself which still posts on its website that it is family owned ! A few days later I saw the same tech at a neighbors house. When I asked the neighbor what they thought of AN - they said we won't be calling them again Well neither will I.You've serviced our tankless water heater that you installed, our HE furnace which you installed and many many other projects in our home - but no more. Rey has done a few large jobs on my house: replaced all our old water pipes; more recently the hot water heater. Also smaller jobs and we've been very happy with his work.

I just had a fabulous experience with We Can Do It plumbing. My faucet was leaking and Carbo fixed it quickly, diagnosed a more serious problem and then fixed that one, too. They even hardcore cleaned up everything to boot. Highly recommended!

He found one crack on one end (only dripping ) and did not find this crack on top of the pipe where I pointed out first “ this is where gushing water came down.”
The plumber said he fixed it so I went upstairs and opened the faucet 2-3 seconds and flushed the toilet once , he was downstairs saying “no leak !” Done . He did not fill the bath tub nor run water to test any further leak .I did not know so I had the ceiling closed ($1000) then my daughter took a bath , gushing water came down . I needed to open the ceiling AGAIN.

Office manager dismissed the issue of not throughly inspecting the entire old pipe , no running water test. I originally asked for compensation for the drywall work which I had to do twice , did not go anywhere. He said the work was done right, nothing was wrong . So I disputed the charge of CC. I got a temporary credit then the owner talked to me finally . Unfortunately Aaron claimed the crack was a new leak , not related to the repair the plumber performed . Look at the exposed pipe and the area of the ceiling opened . How can anyone say they are different leak . I provided all pictures of evidence to VISA and finally they awarded me the credit. The owner told me not to ask for any repair and I am on the nasty customers list . I am very disappointed by his statement “opinion” , “definition” , “fact” ,” I got something free???
I fought this incompetent work because I could not sign the false statement on the form of “release of liability “ when he offered $500 with “ good face”. The fact is that the plumber was not professional. The crack did not appear after his repair , pipe is all connected . It is not a new leak.

We can continue to disagree but there is one fact that does remain. That is that you have had new piping installed by us for free. That’s indisputable. The rest is your opinion and by definition is not fact.

Schwartzbart Plumbing replaced all our shower drainage pipes and did an excellent job with hard-to-diagnose problems.  Rouset was extremely honest, responsive, understanding and kind throughout.  I have to say this was a difficult job for him, with an elderly owner and a very old house which came with lots and lots of tricks.  Yet he and his team did everything they said they would, on time, in a professional manner, and always with a smile to keep you calm.
