Plumber arrived on time. I told him what I needed done. Just power wash my clogged sewer lines using a power washer. I've had this service done a few times in the past 6 years by other plumbing companies. The JC Green plumber said that he was going to use a snake to unclog my line instead. I told him not to use a snake because it wouldn't work. He blew off my request anyway.
He started using the snake @10 AM, getting poor results so he continued to use it anyway, even though the sewage line was still not uncloged. About 10:45AM, he gives up using the snake and starts using the power washer like I requested. The JC Green Plumber could have finished the job in 15 minutes if he would've listened to me.
So, @ 11:15Am the job is complete but not without him charging me $650.00!
I will never use JC Green plumbing again! A hard, expensive lesson to learn.
I just hope their plumbers realize that the customer is always right.

Jorge came on the same day that I called him to check the gas line on a fire pit that we installed for a garden client. He assured us that we had installed it correctly and did not even charge for his time. He was very professional, exactly on time and gave us great information. My hot water heater broke. I called Discount Plumbing Rooter and they assured me that they work on tankless water heaters. They sent a plumber the same day, who said he doesn't work with this model. He offered to send his co-worker this morning. The co-worker did not take the cover off or do any inspection at all, and announced that the whole unit needs to be replaced.

I wasted 24 hours and 2 appointments with Discount Plumbing Rooter. Did they have any intention of repairing my tankless water heater? Why didn't their dispatcher get more details? Why did one plumber send another plumber who was equally unwilling to diagnose or inspect the heater?

Contacting this plumber may be a huge waste of time for you, as it was for me. They delayed this urgent repair, which will be handled by a different company.

It was mid-season when a pipe from the water heater in my house ruptured and I needed help at once. Luckily, I had heard about Plumbing Heroes: Alameda and they came at the earliest time. You are not wrong for thinking that these plumbers will perform a new water heater installation or a repair wonderfully, in fact they replaced my old one, gave me suggestions on how to care it and showed thorough skills to do so. They even made sure that I didn't have any leaks afterwards. I think they were the best team to come out up to that time!

tough job and Gordon (expert plumber) kicked ass. I've owned rentals for 35 years in North Oakland and Berkeley and I've used this company several times. no issues. Most likely the bad reviews come from weenies that have no clue how hard being a plumber really is.
