Best Routine Drain Cleaning in Minneapolis MN

We have been customers of Weld & Sons Plumbing for almost 20 years in two consecutive houses in the TC metro, and they have always treated us well. From rough ins for two complete tear-out kitchen remodels, a basement half-bath addition rough-in, to two water heater replacement emergencies (14 years apart), they have been our go-to plumbers, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the metro area. I didn't expect they would be able to fit us in today (a Monday) with no notice after our 14 year old water heater died over the weekend, but they made room in their schedule for us and showed up within 90 minutes of speaking with me on the phone. They were quick, efficient, and friendly. The install was tidy and looks like quality workmanship. Thank you, Weld & Sons for the long hot showers we will be enjoying for the next decade or more!

Wish I could rate their actual service. I scheduled a plumbing repair last week for today. They called me at 11 and told me they were running late, then I didn’t hear from them again. I called them at 3:00 and was informed they wouldn’t be coming at all. I was then told their next available reschedule was 8 days from now. Unreal. I Took the day off today be home for the repair and was offered nothing other than a “sorry”. Wonder if I would have been charged anything if I had no showed them instead of the other way around?

We thought we needed a new air conditioner but it ended up being a new furnace. Drew was outstanding and was here in less than a couple of hours. As a busy Realtor - time and service is extremely important. Especially in 95 degree heat.

We usually get our main line (sewer) cleaned every 2 years, but forgot to have the service done (so it's been 3 years! oops!). This morning I noticed our floor drain in the laundry room was backing up. Called Ken's -- and got same day service at a very reasonable price! We're so grateful!!

Before starting, he gave a free inspection, where we were told a lot of our plumbing was about to fail. He started in with a campaign to buy their monthly membership plan. I declined, but he brought it up multiple times, and it got uncomfortable, his demeanor changed. Too bad, because he seemed like a nice guy otherwise.Final bill was $700 for a minor job. Like other reviewers, I'm unclear how they price the job and should have asked upfront. If it's hourly, I paid for 30 min of free inspection and sales pitch/pressure to buy the membership.One star for the nice scheduling lady and one star for the work which seems fine.So much potential, Benjamin Franklin. Please be transparent with pricing, price fairly, let your plumbers plumb rather than be forced to be salesman.
