Update: The overall installation of the HVAC system went smoothly.

However, the follow up Erickson's did regarding the scheduling of the city inspectors was absolutely horrendous. We scheduled 3 different full days with an Erickson Plumbing/Heating employee to block off entire days to wait for the City inspector to show for the inspection of the electrical on the the Unit.

All three times Erickson's assured us someone would be coming from the City to inspect the electrical connection. Granted we know this is a separate entity than Erickson's Company, however they are still responsible for ensuring the task is completed per the contract and agreement. All three days wasted waiting.... and waiting..... and waiting....

A suggestion would be to have the Erickson's Manager call the supervisor of the City employee who continually failed to show at the address as promised. GET THE PROBLEM FIXED! Use problem solving techniques and fix the solution rather than just scheduling another time slot in which a no show would transpire.

Satisfied with the quality of work, but dissatisfied with the problem solving, intellect and ability to adjust to a changing environment.

Update: called them out to fix the HVAC system they installed 3 years ago.... they said it’d only be a $180 call out. Turned out to be $500 because the technician they sent was brand new or it seemed like it because he didn’t know how to do anything and therefore had to call someone and have another tech on the phone walk him through on how to fix it. They charged me the time for his ignorance!!! Horrible company.

I called late on a Sunday evening because one of our bathroom sink valves inexplicably broke and was spraying water all over the bathroom. I expected them to charge an arm and a leg for an emergency visit but Ken calmly talked me through a quick fix that would hold us over until Monday morning when a technician could come during regular hours. Our tech, Corey, came over right away on Monday morning and fixed the issue. Ken saved us hundreds by talking me through a fix instead of sending someone and Corey was awesome and fixed the pipe within 30 minutes. I was blown away by how quickly they were able to respond and help. I highly recommend!!!

I had a great experience with Homework’s Plumbing and Heating. Throughout the process I met with Jerry, Greg, Charles and Eric. They were all knowledgeable, thorough and professional. They quoted, helped finance and installed my new AC and furnace in the blistering heat. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.Update: Eric came back to finish installing my humidifier. He was on time and worked efficiently. Again had a great experience.

Steve is great to work with. He is very professional, friendly and helped us at a late hour when most plumbers were all booked for the night. His prices are reasonable and he will teach you how to prevent things and improve them. I highly recommend his services!

I had Matt's come out to look at replacing an existing gas line for a new stove. The technicians were polite, professional, and arrived within the timeframe quoted. However, Matt's price was quadruple what I ended up paying White Bear Plumbing to do for the exact same job ($875 versus over $3800). He wanted $3200 to replace the line and then the remaining balance to be paid when they came back at a later date to hook up the gas stove. I had already received the $875 quote from White Bear Plumbing and when I asked why his price was so much more expensive, he said he has more than $800 in materials for my job. Even if this were true that would mean I am paying over $3k in labor (to run a gas line 15 feet) which is absurd. I gave them the $100 trip charge and declined the work. The reason I had Matt's come out is they said they could quote and complete the job the same day where White Bear was booked out a few weeks. Expensive lesson learned. And yes, White Bear Plumbing is also licensed, bonded, and insured and the work has a 1 year warranty. However, they didn't carry an iPad to quote the job, just a pen and paper.

We have used My Plumber three times, for a back up sump pump installation, sump replacement and water heater replacement. They were easy to schedule with, friendly, quick and cleaned up when done. Great pricing also ! I’ll use them for all our plumbing needs and would recommend them highly.

These guys are great. Usually can accommodate me within the day. Other companies hard sell, not these guys. Not only can I expect a job well done, they also leave me with plumbing and home maintenance knowledge that has since been invaluable.

I had a drain clog at 9 PM on Thanksgiving eve. I called a different place first - Mark's Plumbing in Plymouth - mistake. Mark scolded me for calling him at 9 on Thanksgiving eve, and said he wasn't open until Friday.

Called Ken's next. I was a little gun-shy after my scolding, but Ken was nothing but helpful and professional. Had someone out early the next morning (on Thanksgiving day) and fixed my problem for $159. Great job!

Blaine and the whole Pronto crew were fabulous to work with! We got a few quotes for a whole new heating/cooling system and a removal of an old boiler. It took a few days but they worked so hard and did such a great job. They were prompt, arrived right away in the morning and communication was excellent. We will definitely use them if needed in the future (hopefully not for a long time! Ha!)

I had a major emergency with my kitchen sink. Pedro was very professional and informative about what was wrong with the the plumbing. He got my sink working again within an hour.

I have used Gust on two occasions.  The first was when another plumber wasn’t able to complete work in a tight crawl space (in my basement below the bathroom) and so he referred me to Rusty, the owner.

Rusty completed the work and gave me a lot of helpful information, including info on the replacement of my tub faucet, not accessible through the wall behind it. Thanks to this his help, I was able to repair the faucet without putting a hole in the wood-paneled wall where an access should have been.  Two other faucets were repaired quickly on this second service call.

Rusty really seems to care about his customers and explains things in a way that allows me to do some of my own research and legwork. If I had the funds, I’d just let him do all repairs without looking over his shoulder or investigating further, and I’m sure he has plenty of customers who trust him enough to do that. That said, he has been great about educating me as he does the work.

McLain Plumbing always shows up quickly and they professionally take care of the problem and don’t do more than is necessary. Been using them for about a year and that includes 3-4 different issues from installing new sinks/faucets to replacing toilet parts and snaking drains. Reasonable,professional and friendly service technicians.

I had a wonderful experience with Kintex. I went through my warranty company America Home Shield Warranty. I have been having issues with my kitchen sink faucet for over 2 months. AHS sent out another plumber company first. He could not fix the the faucet and totally misdiagnosed the issue. Finally after waiting on AHS and the back and forth for 2 month, AHS sent Kintex. Within a few days, Ike with Kintex came out, diagnosed the issue in 3 mins and fixed my sink in 5 mins. Finally someone who knows what he is doing with experience. Thank you Kintex!
