Had someone come out to figure out some electrical issues at my house a few months back. The service on the phone was professional, the person who came out was punctual and professional, but they figured out nothing. They chalked up some lights being dimmer and flickering to the grid throttling power to the house, which I doubt. They did a good job explaining, but they also rambled throughout the process. This turned a 20-30 minute job to a 65 minute job, where they charged two hours for. I feel like I just threw away $300.

We first used Standard to install our ductless minisplit system. They offered a middle-low bid and 2 year 0% financing. They were great to work with from sales to scheduling to install to maintenance. A great warranty that went above and beyond any other company as well. Since then I’ve hired them to tune up our boiler last fall and repair something on our boiler this summer. I would say they’re very high quality. A little more expensive than the lowest bid, but I think I got more than I paid for with the service they offer. Will continue to use them.

Called Hovde Plumbing and they were able to come out same day and fix all my issues. Everyone I spoke to and interacted with at the company was professional, knowledgeable and respectful. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have.

Our air conditioner died and we knew our system was old. Genz-Ryan sent Pete out the next morning - a Saturday and the hottest weekend of the year - and he was wonderful. We had some coffee, he checked out our system, gave us a range of options to fit our budget, explained everything thoroughly, and no pressure. And the new filtration system will help clean the air in our whole house which is help with our son’s allergies. Thank you Pete and we can’t wait for installation day!

The kitchen sink in our rental suddenly backed up and the very next day Dean's sent Nicholas Boisvert to help. Nick was very professional and efficient, and quickly and thoroughly cleaned out the blockages in the drain. Very satisfied with the service Nick provided us and glad to have our sink back and working so quickly and painlessly!

He was actually able to come earlier, which was a pleasant surprise. He was very efficient and eager to answer any questions we might have. He pointed out that the blower wheel for the furnace could use a good cleaning -- which would be good for air quality -- and provided information on what the cost would be. He was clear that it wasn't an emergency and could be handled in the future.

Jesse was out at my home that’s currently undergoing a basement remodel. Super nice guy and did exceptionally good work. Highly recommend. His plumbing is tidy and thoughtful. While he was out he found time to remove some unused saddle valves as well as install a filtered hot water line to our hot tub. Cool trick Jesse!

Too bad I have to even pick 1 star. My service was for a stoppage, I chose what was closest to my issue, but I noted that the problem was water bubbling in kitchen and toilets when water was draining in other areas of the house. From the moment the technician arrived he was abrasive and rude. He flushed a toilet, walked around the outside perimeter of my home and said he couldn't help me. He advised me that I would have to call another company to address my problem and he thought it might be clogged vents. He refused to try and see if there was a clog elsewhere or do any other work. Considering he was wearing nice jeans, a nice tshirt and was worried more about the grass that got on his shoe than listening to my concerns I'm not surprised he didn't want to inspect the cleanouts (we have 3) under the house. After speaking to his mgr he told me he was going outside to make a call to my warranty company. He got into his van and drove away. Awesome service! I will make sure to tell my friends.
