Best Sewer And Water Line Repair in Minneapolis MN

Showed up an hour and a half late to move a gas line for my stove. Told them when I set up the appointment that the line ran through a crawl space, they said it was no problem. Guy tells me without even looking in the crawl space that I should just leave it because of where it's coming in and let the cabinet makers build around the line. I told him my reasons why I (and my cabinet contractor) want it moved and after repeating myself several times he takes a look in the crawl space. He says he can do it but it will have to be another day because it will take longer than expected. He thinks about 3 hours. Tells me it for sure won't go over $720, might be less. I asked for that in writing and he says sure I'll ask the office to send you an email when I get back. Give him my credit card number for an hour and half of work.

As I'm waiting for the call back from the office I realize that now I'm going to have to pay for driving time twice and that today I am paying basically $300 for nothing more than a quote. The office agrees to charge me only for 30 minutes today as to take care of paying multiple times for driving but will not put the $720 quote in writing. While acknowledging that the communication was unclear she would not budge, then said she wouldn't charge me today and that they would not be able to do the work for me.

I don't want to pay $190 an hour for a service that includes mansplaining. I also don't want to be given a quote and told that it guaranteed won't go over $720 by the person doing the work only to be told an hour later by the office that it's not possible. I appreciate that they didn't charge me for today, but am discouraged by how quickly they were willing to drop a customer in need as soon as clear communication was expected. Proceed with caution if you go with this company.

My water heater broke down and thankfully for me I called Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Jon W was the technician that arrived that day. He was polite, professional, and thorough in explaining everything he found. He was upfront with options and pricing. I decided replacement was the best option, and Jon came back the next day to install the new water heater. When he was done, he showed me the heater and instructions for troubleshooting. As you can imagine it is very stressful to have your sewer back up within your home. I had another company come out, One Hour Sewer, to fix the issue and before they even showed up started talking to me about charging $1500 for a Hydro blast and $8000 to put in a liner in the pipe going out to the road. When the tech from one hour showed up he worked on the drain for about 30 minutes and said he couldn’t get it because he ran into something about 75 feet out to the road. He said that he wanted to come back on Monday morning and he started talking More about the $1500 Hydro blast and the $6900 liner.

I was referred to Rod by a friend. I called him on a Sunday night and he answered his phone and was here at 7:30 Monday morning. Within 30 minutes he had my drain unclogged and then put a camera down to verify that everything was OK which it was. I can’t recommend him enough especially in an industry where unfortunately people will try to take advantage.

After experiencing two sewer line collapses, a slow drain, and an uncooperative neighbor ( Unfortunately we share a joint sewer line.) These guys left me (a single woman with No construction skills) with only the greatest sigh of relief and a huge “Thank you” for responding to my call.

Somehow this team of guys can make digging by hand a seemingly bottomless hole with lots and lots of shale rock look easy.

Thought it was Not possible to see “construction guys” use a very high level of respect that is very rarely practiced. (ok...they hand delivered a single document in the middle of lots of craziness :)!)

The MSSW guys have simply shown me that there is another way through a very turbulent storm.

For this I remain.... very simply...eternally grateful to have a massive sewer line breakdown. Because without it, I would have missed a most honorable, once in a lifetime event to meet these very simple, down-to-earth guys that “rock” above-and-beyond.

I was impressed with their integrity since the quoted job took less piping footage than estimated, they charged only what they used. I wouldn't have known the difference if they had just charged according to the original quote, but their honesty brought my total down ~$800. We had Ben Franklin out to replace a bathroom faucet. They accidentally cracked the vanity top (I sympathize, that faucet was NOT easy to remove) but they were very helpful the entire way. They offered to send us a check for a new vanity, then came out and swapped out the vanity and installed the faucet for free. It was not an ideal situation but everyone I worked with was very professional and courteous and they made situation right in the end. I appreciate their help and feel confident working with them in the future!

Just had Rotor-Rooter out to RE-fix a problem that Bonfe had supposedly fixed 2 days before! Fred did a great job and NOW the drain problem is gone. I will be calling them first next time! THANKS Rotor-Rooter!!!

Chris came out to replace an outside faucet. I was charged $600+ for a job that should not have taken over an hour and a half - two tops. He left my house the first day because he said he didn’t have the faucet in his truck. It’s a simple outside faucet (only) and he is a plumber after all. They said he had to go to Menards to pick one up! Really does that make sense? I think he was milking this job! The next day he came back, installed the Menards faucet and charged me $600.+ I feel he would maybe charged 2 hours tops, cost of faucet and truck cost not 2 days and 3 hours, cost of faucet and truck cost. This was a small job! Don’t call them!

I I was never so disappointed with this service. Did the bait and switch on me and charged me doublefrom their add. More importantly he didn't unclog the sewer line. Had to call drain busters to do it properly
