Best Plumbing Leak Detection in Miami FL

Recently I had a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling, I called two plumbers and they couldn’t find it! I called Dade County Leak detection and they found the leak in minutes and cleaned up all the water damage! I would definitely use them again!

I hired Brayan from Epic Plumbing to install a new water heater and repair water pipes throughout my entire house and I can’t say enough that I was extremely impressed and satisfied by his service. (2021)I wanted to update this review a long time ago, but feared this company might be able to somehow take back the money I paid them. Below all of this text is a review that I had to leave in order to get my money back. The owner fought with me on the phone after I had left a review about how they sent someone over from their company who not only broke my bath faucet even more, but also wanted to charge me 1200$ for a service I later found out from another honest plumbing company would only have been a temporary fix to my problem, AND that I was being overcharged for a service that never amounts anywhere near what they stated. After I left a negative review the first time telling the truth about what happened and the events that occured, I was called by the manager or owner, who told me the only way they'd give me back my money was if I updated my review and that review made them look bad. His words, verbatim. I now want people to know the truth about this company and their shady business practices. This was about 2 years ago, but I will never forget how they treated my boyfriend and I. They blackmailed us for our own money. My hopes are that they have since polished their business ethics and have learned to treat their customers better, but I wouldn't be too sure about that. So I leave this edited review as a caution to anyone who might feel something might be off about this company, because odds are your gut feeling might be spot on.

Amazing service! Found them through Thumbtack on they were very responsive: I posted a request around 7AM, got a call at 8AM and the specialists were at my house by 9:30AM!

Carlos and Josh were extremely professional by giving thorough and detailed explanations of potential problems and root causes, analyzing my toilet water tank and deciding to replace the parts successfully.

They used a tablet to go through each step of the process in their system, clarifying what I was signing for and the amount to be charged, which felt very transparent and professional.

This was the least stressful repair I have ever had. I called and a person answered the phone. I told them the problem and they told me what was wrong and gave me a quote. I agreed. When they showed up they were pandemic ready with masks and gloves. They repaired the problem and cleaned up everything from the repair. They were very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends and would definitely use them again.

Pretty disappointed with Island Plumbing. Called several plumbing companies as I had an issue with my septic tank pump. I asked every company up front if they charge a fee to come out and provide an estimate. I only selected companies that did not charge to provide an estimate. Upon arrival, I spoke to the plumber and asked that he gain approval or provide an estimate to me before work was done. He said of course. As he was finishing up, he wrote me a $225 invoice for an assessment of something I already told him was broken and needed an estimate to fix. Called the office and they said they do charge to come out - starting at $75 for anyone located outside of key biscayne. Again, I asked for this info up front and it was not provided. They told me they could perhaps provide a discount if I decided to go with them. I totally understand that some companies charge to provide an estimate, but that is why I asked up front. I had 3 other companies come out to look and no one charged me. Further, no one other than the dispatchers would speak to me via the phone and while they were super nice, they had no authorization to do anything other than listen to the complaint. Extremely disappointed and feel taken advantage of. Will never do business with a company like this. Would not recommend.

They charge 100 dollars just to go to the place. and then he wanted to charge $650 to do a gas test in case there was a leak. and I just wanted to learn how to light a stove pilot. I do not recommend the services, bad bad bad

Beware! These are not real plumbers. Not licensed. Not insurances. They took our money and never finished the job and then never refunded us. Don’t make the same mistake we made.

*They came to our home, put holes in our walls, ripped out a toilet and created leaks across the valves in our house, and then just left us….without hot water to add to insult. I cannot stress this enough stuff, do not hire these people. I would give them a zero star if that was an option. We will be filing complaints with the Better business bureau, the city and DBPR.
