I actually called RotoRooter but have a really bad experience with the first three guys ,i want to believe those are running a Roto Rooter of their own ,but the guys who came last saturday made the day they cleaned the line as the other three could have done it but choose not to.that Aaron should not be working for this company is people like those three that give a company a bad name i happen to like the president of this company and believe he a nice human person however we like the guy by name miguel Y #178 he did what he supposed to do and even though my problem is not over because i now have a broken pipe that cost thousand to fix no so sure i really bilieve it i think first three guys damage the pipe with so many hard metal snake but we will investigate ,i really think you at corporate need to investigate your miami offices for bussiness practices. i do thrust this company .thank you Fatima

I am a landlord and have been for close to 20 years so when I saw the reviews and had the need I gave this business an opportunity to secure my business. I had a hot water heater stop working in a rental property in Miami beach. One of their techs got to the address and called me to say the heater was rusted and needed replacing. I was shocked to be told to replace a small 40 gallon tank would be $1800! I told the tech a new tank is no more then $400 from lowes and Home Depot so why was it $1800? After some unreasonable explanation I cancelled the service. I am all for supporting small businesses as I have been a small business owner myself but extorting people in a situation such as I was in is just poor business. I would have been happy to pay a few hundred more to support local business not a chain store but this was high way robbery of a person in a difficult situation . 2 phone calls later. lowes appliances. $789 installed inc permits, 40 gallon heater, install parts and removal and dumping of my old heater. Sorry but you have lost my business to service my home or rental property.

Had issue with a toilet backing up. Timely contact from dispatch within timeframe given by 1-800 csr service #. Plumbing tech arrived as promised. Polite and professional. Issue was not resolved using the auger, ended up being an issue outside at the clean out which my condo association took care of. No charge for Roto Rooter to come out. Pricing not given until plumber arrives. Ended up paying $150 for him using the auger. Rates a little higher than anticipated. Will recommend though.

Terrible customer service, I had an doubt about my invoice after the plumber came to my place so I called the firm. They told me that the manager will call me back, which he never did. I called him back the next day to explain my situation, and while explaining not only he laughed (not joking) at me but kept talking over the top of me. Also diagnosis are not free.

Extremely expensive. They charged me $ 370 for just 20 minutes, but gave me only 6 month limited warranty, didn't brush, didn't took the dirt off the sink, just pushed it. They left my sink, floor and buckets filthy, left without cleaning anything. I hope at least the problem won't come back! But I will never ask for their services again.

I had an emergency shower problem in the middle of the night while I was sleeping.. At 1:30am the knob broke out of nowhere and the shower started running unstoppably. Andy came to my rescue and did a great job. Hie service was professional, courteous, personalized, clean and overall very satisfactory. He communicated with me every step of the way even when he had to leave to get the right parts and came back. The job he had to do was very challenging because my building is super old and the old parts that failed inside the shower plumbing were calcified. Poor Andy had to cut through almost cemented pieces with box cutters and tons of muscle labor. He went above and beyond, and fixed the problem. If I ever have a plumbing problem again, I would want Andy to come and fix it, and nobody else. Thanks, Andy!

Were not much of a help unfortunately. Contacted them about a toilet overflowing and I was asked if I owned the property (?). They stated that they must have prior permission before offering any assistance. They were not accommodating or helpful.

High rate in Google review of Roto Rooter is fake. not true.This is my second review about Roto Rooter service.This time, it is about customer service and satisfaction.I wrote the review about the service made 4 weeks ago, which was complete disaster overall. Tech didnt show up 3 times for appointment, last one came didnt fix the clogged drainage issue but asking for the payment. So i left the review what exactly happened to me and which is helpful for other people can get some idea without the hassle i had to go thru.After i wrote Google Review, one of the customer service rep called me as a follow up about my review. She told me Roto Rooter wants to resolve this issue so they would issue a partial refund check which would take max 2 weeks to make me feel better and she asked me to delete my Google review. So I told her i may do when i receive the check because i wasnt sure.Surprisingly or unsurprisingly, it past more than 2 weeks and i didnt receive any check nor email reply from customer service as of now.Now i realize They just wanted me to erase my honesty review from real experience to Make good rate on Google.They are not coming at scheduled time.They are not an expert in plumbing service.They ask the payment even though the service is not satisfying, not resolving your issue.They delete low rate review.

I was in a sticky situation after another plumber previously failed to do a proper job requiring me to have to yet again call a plumber (following a slow and progressing back up weeks prior). A relatively small job of having to unclog drainage out to the sewer - but Hugo Miguel Delgado showed up and quickly accessed the problem and really (in my opinion) put the emergency in Emergency Response plumbing because he was here just about an hour or so after I reached out to Roto Rooter! A true life saver because had he not showed up and immediately sprung into ACTION right then, I would have had to further postpone the arrival of the rest of my family, my girlfriend and our two young boys even later into the night, which would have come at a great inconvenience for all of us.You just can't beat having a good plumber to rely on when something goes wrong. I will definitely use Roto Rooters services if the need arises again in the future and make it a point to request Hugo be sent out again. A true professional, gentleman and conducted himself as a scholar, and he is a plumber. I mean really great service. I would give zero star if I could. I called to get a price quote on unclogging the bathroom toilet and they said they don't provide pricing on the phone . I'm out of town so I asked my house guest to open the door for them to check and give pricing. They took advantage of my guest not speaking English, they didn't provide any written price quote for her nor asked me for my authorization. They spent only 25 min unclogging the toilet with a plunger and charged $235!

I called this company to have them changing my 3 toilets flappers since they are leaking and water bill came very high last month. They are the BIGGEST THIEVES!!! Wanted to charge me $280/toilet!!! The flapper is $5!!!

They even had a same-day appointment on Saturday at no extra charge. Someone also called me to alert me that the plumber was on his way. The plumber, Manuel (#6454) was very polite and professional. He was wearing a mask and never took it off. He analyzed the problem and told me what had happened, and the different ways and options to fix it. He let me make suggestions and explained why they would or wouldn’t work (I am not a plumber but he indulged me anyway and was very nice about it). He gave me the price, which was a little higher than I expected, but you get what you pay for. Within 20 minutes he was finished and everything looks great. I appreciate the 6-month guarantee to give me peace of mind that this was done right. I would definitely call them again.

I called Roto Rooter for an issue with my toilets & shower not draining in a new house I purchased. I knew there was some sort of clog or issue. However they tried to tell me that my pipes were too small and that I needed to tear up all my floors to put in new pipes (although it was just completed prior to purchasing the house). When I expressed shock at that, they then proceeded to tell me it was going to be $10k to clean out the pipes but if I committed in 48 hours they would charge me $9K. They proceeded to tell me I had so much “grease in my pipes” that they would not even be able to take a scope/camera (again, I have video of the scope from less than a month ago). They never even accessed the main line. I felt I was being “sold” and was being taken advantage of because I didn’t have a lot of knowledge around plumbing. I called a different plumber and they cleaned out my lines for $350. Not $10K.

Very expensive and time consuming but the problem has not recurred.I requested service for a leaking toilet shut off valve replacement. Waited 2 days for service. I paid 465 dollars for a job that was completed in about an hour. I bought and replaced the fill valve and flapper myself to save an additional 200 dollars. Several hours were spent driving to get parts and formulating the bill. Took most of my day.

Roto-Rotor came out that same day and cleared the backup, and I was charged $481.00.( TICKET #: 23263782) I was told that I would need a Roto-Rooter specialist (Excavation team)to fix the root issue so this would not happen again.On Wed 5/24 Roto- Rooter was at my home and informed me the cost to fix the issue would be $4,500. The same day the work was complete (Everything was supposed to be good to go they flushed the systems and they ran the cameras through the pipes, and I was told it was good to go)On 6/3 I called Roto- Rooter due to sewage backup in my bathrooms and the toilets not flushing, an issue that was supposed to be fixed. Roto-Rooter shows up the same day and clears the back-up, and I was obviously not charged for this.On 6/3 the Roto Rooter’s Field Supervisor shows up and runs his Cameras through the pipes( which was already done on 5/24) and now says that to fix the issue the cost is $5,000 due to a tree blocking the pipes.On 6/4 corporate responded to my complaint email and said someone from the local Managemt would contact meOn 6/5 Frank Marrero called me utterly gaslight me on the entire situation. Even elevated his voice and said “ We did not defraud you”Only use this company if you need a quick emergency fix. Anything else do not! I had to learn the hard way and was ripped off $4,500 dollars. As we were moving into our condo in Miami, we realized the garbage disposal didn’t work and there was no hot water in one of the showers. Roto Rooter had someone out the next day. He didn't resolve the problem and failed to return the next day. I was without water for 36 hours. The Supervisor ended up doing the job. I found the service overpriced and don't intend to use Roto-Rooter ever again.

I dealt with techs from Roto Rooter on two occasions. The first was pleasant and explained what he thought was the source of my leaking kitchen sink; he went to buy parts and returned quickly to work on the problem. I was charged an excessive amount for the work. The problem persisted so I called Roto Rooter again. This time the tech (another person) was late, rude, condescending and had no idea what he was doing. He said he tightened some things under the sink and gave me extremely expensive overestimates for replacing my dishwasher even thought he couldn't explain what the problem was. The problem persisted so I called another company who fixed it. I am giving Roto Rooter 3 stars because I called to complain and they had the decency to refund my money.

I was charged $714 for them to remove a toilet, put a camera through the toilet pipe, and for them to pull a sock out. They did not put the toilet Bach properly. I was given a 30 day warranty, but that was remove because of the sock being in the pipe which I understand. But they told me it should be fine for 2 weeks or more and I needed to change the main line. 2 hours after they left the problem returned. So I called another plumbing company who came the next day. They did the same thing removed the toilet, snake a camera through, but they removed 2 socks. They only charged me $250. I feel like I was ripped off. I will never use this company again. I had a issue last year with the clean out. It's strange but the clean out for the building is near the roof. They told me that the issue was not what I thought. The did something on the line I was charge almost $400. The issue was not resolve. Called another plumber who did something in the clean out only charged me $150 haven't had the issue since. This company is a rip off

Instead it turned into 7 hours when we decided to switch out our 12 year old water heater. Rather than making us wait until the next day, Michael’s commitment was impressive. Final higher bill only service to arrive on time & need to schedule another appointment with competing service to complete work.

Although I found the labor itself to be expensive, just the professional manner, good customer service and quality goes a long way. My first time I use Roto-Rooter. And might use them again in the future for other plumbing related repairs around my home.

A few days later there it was again & the handyman was out of the country on vacation. I tried renting a fully automatic snake with all of the bits. I worked on the lines for 4 hours and nothing. We finally called Roto Rooter and could not be happier with their services. They found roots growing into the line. They had a free service which put a camera in the line and identified where the roots were coming in.All three of the service people we dealt with Joseph Alverez, Renee Montilla and Charlie the camera tech were excellent. I wish I would have called them first.Thank you Roto Rooter.

Very grateful to them.The only real negative I have is the pricing. It was $1800 for the project. $900 for them to tear up the outer concrete wall just to find the problem (took maybe an hour). On the high side considering the time it took and that it didn’t include fixing the issue. Also, the first tech (Elio?) removed wood paneling inside the house and cut up the dry wall and plaster only to realize the pipes don’t go through the wall. Even the next tech said he wouldn’t have done that.I know plumbers charge a lot, but the pricing seemed excessive. This isn’t a negative towards the techs, they were great. More a negative reflection on the company. 4 stars b/c of the techs (Miguel & Luis). 2 stars on pricing.

After months of construction, the last thing we needed was the clogged drain we had tonight. Thankfully Roto Rooter came through for us. I have edited this review. I kept the old one (posted below) because I think it shows more about a company when they turn a negative experience into a positive one. In the end of the day no one is perfect and things happen. I had a horrible first experience, but shortly after I posted my review Michael Story, GM, contacted me through his personal cell. He asked me to go over what had happened and came up with a solution to fix everything from cleaning to making sure my plumbing issue was 100% fixed. He followed through on all his promises and followed up with me after each and every step. He sent a new technician, also named Michael (#5021) to my house and he was awsome. Thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to answer any questions I had and he triple checked everything. Including rereplacing some pipes and leaving me with a commercial drain cleaner. You could see he truly cared and he apologized for my previous experience. I will request him, as well as recommend him for future plumbing services. This turned from a negative experience to a truly positive one.I had a clogged sink that they fixed after they let 3 gallons of water spill all over my laundry room floor. They attempted to wipe it up, yet left all the water under the washer machine without a care in the world. The pricing was sketchy and when I called to ask them what was supposed to be included in what they coded me for they spoke down to me and would not give me a straight answer. Automatically said I got a discout without knowing what was done. All I wanted to know was what was supposed to be included in the pricing because the serviceman that was sent out barely spoke English. They also sent out a water restoration specialist before they started working on the issue, yet after when I had water seeping into my baseboreds they could careless. Basically said that that was inevitable. Very dispointed and plan on continuing to call to see what work was supposed to be included in the price I was charged for.

Luis Damian (#4478) quickly and efficiently solved my year and a half long toilet problem that other companies were not able to...He is knowledgable, and a great professional that is almost nonexistent in Miami.

The plumber, Bryan #5274 provided great customer service and is very knowledgeable. His honest and candid opinion was appreciated. He took a video of my toilet pipe to show me the exact issue. He explained the item was under warranty and quickly went to work. Bryan made the difference! Roto-Rooter provided a free estimate with no obligation. The price was fair with the discount and the work was fast. The company sent a person out on a Saturday (Memorial Day weekend). I called just before 1100 am and the work was done by 2 pm. Very pleased!

These guys are a little bit on a pricey side, but very punctual and very professional and reliable. If you have an emergency which can’t wait they are your best bet. Again, they are not cheap, but if you waste your time on calling other places and waiting forever for them to come fix your problem, you will not mind paying their price. I highly recommend.

Our plumber's name was Darren and he was very efficient and worked rather quickly, not including time he might have needed to run and get parts. My only concern was that my appointment was for 10am and no one made it out to me until 3pm. They did make sure to call and apologize. Plus I was fully aware of the four hour window beforehand and it only went an hour past that. other than that the pricing was a bit high, but that may just be for me, due to my financial needs.Honestly I recommend this company and would work with them again.Thank you.

While the servicemen were very helpful, and the service was done in a timely manner, and because of the severity of the situation i did not take the time to do price comparison. I am not happy that you do not offer any guarante of work performed, and you charge double what the price of the work performed.

October 31, 2019: Hector (1911) was very professional and meticulous. He even asked when needing paper towels if he could take one. After he finished installing the new garbage disposal he wiped everything down.If and when we need a plumber again, we will be calling Roto-Rooter and definitely requesting Hector!November 1, 2019: Goes to show, employees can really make or break a company, no matter how well established. I was suppose to have a representative from the water damage assessment team here at 10 AM today. She called yesterday a few times confused about who she was calling and finally scheduled me for 10 AM today. She has not shown up or called, 30 minutes late now which is totally unacceptable. This person just blew Roto-Rooter's reputation with me. Management should take note of this employee.

My bathroom was backed up causing all 3 bathrooms to back up sewage water into the shower. At 9:30pm I google plumbing and Roto Rooter was the first 24/7 I seen i called they found a tech by 11:40pm both Jordan and Joseph came out took care of the problem clean the sewage pipe with the snake. It was a big fur (hair) ball that clogged our pipe. Both Jordan & Joseph were very efficient & quick explained the problem told me what kind of pipe I have and why that happened. I had my worries about this hearing all the stories about people getting ripped off and work being shoddy. This was far from the the case with these gentlemen. On May 2nd, 2020 I called Roto Rooter of Pinecrest to clear-up a branch drain from my kitchen. I was quoted $389.00 for the work and accepted it. The plumber came on time and well protected and started working on the roof vent (I have an almost flat patio roof.). As he could not clear the blocage, he told me that he guaranteed that he could clear out the pipe with high pressure jet but that will cost me $900.00... Surprised by this price, he told me that a camera inspection and recording was included. I agreed and soon after A truck came. Roberto and Humberto went to the roof stack and cleared the pipe up in 20 minutes. Since it was late and did not have the equipment, they told me that they will be back on Monday to do the camera work.Monday May 4. No one came or called. At the end of the day I called Roto Rooter and was told someone will be back to me within half hour.Tuesday May 5. Gave several call to Roto Rooter. Someone will call you back...Wednesday May 6. I received a call from a plumber indicting that he was coming with the camera. He tried to insert the camera through an outside sink drain but could not get the camera in the pipe... He knew that he had to do it from the stack but said he was not allowed to go on the roof (unlike everyone else..) He said he will come back and left me his numberThursday May 7. Called the camera guy. Never responded to my call. Called Roto Rooter and was told they will call me right back...Friday May 8. I called Roto Rooter. 1st time we will called you back within half hour... 2nd time I had a lady for camera dispatch that told me it is the First time she heard about the problem and will talk to the Manager.I am still waiting to hear from the Manager.Edited 5/14/20Finally on Friday May 8th, two plumbers came with a camera and inspected the drain from my kitchen. They found that the cast iron pipes were corroded with some parts collapsed. They were very professional and thorough.My drains need replacements

Called Roto Rooter and was happy that they came out to fix my plumbing over the weekend and get the water turned back on. Unfortunately, it has been a nightmare trying to get a copy of my bill. 3 phone calls followed by promises that it will be sent by email, and then nothing. I know that they have my correct email address on file because they sent follow up emails asking me to rate their service and have subscribed me to their mailing list.I don't mind the extra cost that roto-rooter charged for their prompt weekend service but you should totally skip them if you want a copy of the bill or any support after the repairs have been completed.

I want to compliment Roto-Rooter, especially Julio Rivera and Leebert Brown. My experience with plumbers in Miami Beach has been less than meh. They usually are fakes, clueless on what they're doing. But Julio and Leebert really did know everything they needed to fix our problem. We had a clogged sewer line from our house to the city line. Julio explained what was needed and Leebert did the camera work to pinpoint the issue. My wife especially liked that Julio and Leebert didn't dismiss her, thoroughly explaining to her what they were about to do and the solution. I would give both Julio and Leebert more than 5 stars, but I can't! Highly recommended, and price-competitive!

Very high charge, first time cleared, only to back up again in a couple of days. The second they want to charge another full price, unwilling to refund the previous charge. Had to negotiate hard to have them deduct the previous charge from the second (double-price) charge. All in all, very expensive just clear the drain of a toilet.

I scheduled an appointment online but they were unable to come on my first appt. Even though they were not able to come until the next day, customer service called me with status updates. Every representative that I spoke to was very polite. The plumber that came to my home was very professional and honest. He solved my problem and for that I am thankful.

Called them to have my kitchen sink drain unclogged. The service arrive around the time indicated, the plumber, Luis, was very courteous and professional. He got to work promptly after assessing the problem and solved it in a bit more than an hour. Everything wast left clean and check it was working correctly. Great service in every way but expensive! Arrived early, friendly, professional and had the equipment to tackle anything in the world. Final price was over $700 to unclog a drain pipe with an power drain cleaner. Took about 20 mins and very grateful but wow! I suggest to shop around next time as I was not quoted any ball park over the phone so assumed it would be like previous experiences(My mistake for not asking). Usually pay 300 to 400 for same service with other plumbers. I do know they are open 24 hrs, 7 days a week and most holidays. Maybe this contributes to the price even during a normal Friday afternoon.

Service Technician Renne Montilla was absolutely outstanding. Renne responded to my home to repair a damaged, leaking, and clogged bathroom sink. After calling dispatch (dispatch personnel were also extremely courteous and professional) Renne was at my house within 45 minutes. He was respectful, professional, and resolved the problem in under an hour. There is only one bathroom in the house, this sink has been giving us problems for years and it is a huge relief that it is fixed now. The estimate was free and the pricing was reasonable. Luis tech 0675, was the most knowledgeable, courteous, experienced tech i’ve Ever had the pleasure of meeting. He fixed all our plumbing issues in a very methodical and professional manner. He is an example of what a professional should be.

It took two tries to clear the toilet drain. The plumber should havetested it better the first time, so I wouldn't have had to call him back.Then he tried to sell me a second service, though the per-hour shouldhave covered it (plus parts). If you charge $243 an hour and spend a total of 10 minutes, don't go trying to charge me more. That isn't gonna happen.

Roniel #5302 rescued us from a broken off pipe connected to an outside faucet that was flooding next to our garage. The response time was very quick, even though it was a Saturday afternoon. And I thought the price was reasonable and there were no hidden costs. It included all parts needed for the job even though Roniel had to go out to two different places to find the right (less commonly used) galvanized pipes and fittings. He fixed the broken pipe and replaced the faucet and patched up the garage nicely with cement. I'm very happy with the work. I would call on Roniel again anytime!

I am beyond frustrated that I was not able to get the service I needed due to the tech not showing up for the time frame I was given. The first rep I spoke to on Sat. 8/27, stated my appointment was for today, Sunday, 8/28/22 between 10am and 1pm. I completely dislike those large appointment gaps, but I was accepting of it due to urgency of the matter. I literally sat there w/ my phone in hand waiting for the phone call from the tech. No calls came! I finally get a missed call at 2:25 pm. When I called back, the Roto rooter tech stated the tech called, no one answered so they cancelled my appointment. She stated the tech called twice, but refused to give me the times the tech called. When I asked again for the specific times she claimed the first call was around 10am , which was a complete lie. She was very passive about the fact that I explained that no one called at 10 and the only missed call occurred after the scheduled time frame. I am absolutely disgusted at the fact that her only response was but he called as if to pacify the fact that they did not keep the agreed time frame. I definitely WILL NOT use their services due to the simple fact they are willing to lie about a simple phone call. Absolute disappointment. I prefer to use a company that is more communicative. I would have preferred for them to be honest about not being able to make the appointment, I get it, its Sunday.

Our water heater busted at the seam at 8am on a Sunday morning. I could not get the water to stop and could not shut the main water off. We called Roto Rooter in a panic and they were AMAZING! The plumber was at the house within 30 minutes and was able to get the water shut off. He called the Roto Rooter Water Restoration team out there to speak with us about their services. We had no idea that Roto Rooter even had a water restoration team and no idea how we were going to handle all the water. Franz Schiebel Tech #0983 was great and explained everything really well and kept us calm. We decided there was too much water to handle on our own so we let the Water Restoration team do the clean up.Franz and Ivis Euceda tech#4710 did a great job every step of the way. They worked several hours that Sunday to get all of the water extracted and set up over 10 fans and drying units. Everything was done really well and they were conscious of the fact that we needed to still live in that space. All the cords were taped down so we wouldn't trip and our pets wouldn't get caught on them. Even with all the equipment required to dry the house they made it feel like it wasn't in the way. They were there any time to answer any questions or if we had any issues and worked around our schedule. Despite the major stress of having water damage in your home they made us feel better and positive that everything was going to dry out and be back to normal soon. I can't express how awesome Franz, Ivis and the Water Restoration guys are and I couldn't recommend them enough. They went above and beyond to make sure the house was dried out asap and that everything was going ok with the insurance process and living in the house while it was drying.It took about a week for everything to dry completely. Daniel the plumber was able to come out and install our new water heater when the area finally dried. He answered all of my questions and was able to quickly diagnose and fix a couple of small issues that I had in other areas of the house. We had a toilet leak and I asked him to look at it because the last plumber said nothing was wrong and yet it was still leaking. He immediately knew what was wrong and quickly fixed it.Roto Rooter will definitely be our first call any time we need anything done plumbing related. I hope to never have water damage again but they will be my first call if I ever need them and they will be my only recommendation going forward.

Amazing customer service! Fixed a broken main line that caused our toilet to back-up. Alain Rodriguez in particular sweated on this project until Sunday 11pm to give us an unclogged working toilet and turned up at 8am the next morning to excavate and fix the broken pipe. Jose Palancar assisted the second day with the excavation in the Miami sunshine. Really friendly team, great customer care, would not hesitate to recommend to anyone in the area.

Terrible service from a terrible company. I called their 24 hour line to schedule an appointment for a service technician to come out on June 21. I had stated that my condo needs a COI for the plumber to able to enter the building. The technician came to the apartment with no COI and was turned away. We were told by their admin department that we would get a follow-up that day. It has been five days now with no call back. So I called back this morning and was basically given the run around by their call center. Do not use this service.

They were late every time they promised a window to arrive. They did work on a Wednesday and were back on a Saturday to do more work. It has not been a good experience at all with Roto Rooter. i would not recommend. The second plumber that came looked like he knew what he was doing. Just not a company I would recommend. The guy who showed up very late was from Delta plumbing, barely spoke English, said he was sending me photos of the alleged cause of blockage, but he never did. Then he said he would get me a new beige toilet at home Depot for $128, and bring me the bill. He instead installed a white one, doubled the price and refused to show me or give me the receipt. I have no idea if the toilet is new or used or if it needed to be replaced because he never showed me any evidence of any blockage. Stay away!!!!

I declined.A short while after someone called me to schedule a camera for $500 which was never mentioned by your plumber.All in all I expected much more professional service from Roto Rooter. I have used your company before with good results. This time only gets because there is not a lower rating available.

Roto-Rooter rescued my family when our water heater just decided to stop working in the afternoon. We were hoping that it was a bad element, but during our Technician’s, Jose Palancar, (tech #2535) inspection it was apparent that we were in bad shape. Jose found the problem that caused the melted wires (a valve above the unit had a very slow drip onto the Water Heater). I am so thankful that Jose was very patient and meticulous for looking into why the problem occurred so we were able to fix the valve and install a new WH. These guys were great! I had to have my shower fixed and the prior owner did shoddy construction work. The service was absolutely outstanding. Less than an hour after I called the main number in Baltimore Robert showed up and cleaned our sewer line out. It was a difficult job but he succeeded. After he left Manny came and found out where our clean out was so we could get in there and get the roots out that were growing and causing our problems. I am speechless. They never showed up in 3 day on a row. They were keep calling me in every 3 hours that next hour plumber would be there and they waste my time for 3 days. Keep saying that they are so busy they cant handle it. Hire more people or take out advertisement from google if you can not handle the job, dont waste peoples time.

Tech 1911 (Hector) repaired my outside main shutoff. I couldn't get it turned back on after vacation. He came and did the job in about an hour. He was also very curtious.

I called Roto-Rooter today because the dishwasher had drainage problems. The inspection was free. Vladimir (1782) arrived quickly and honestly told me that the appliance is most likely broken and requires a different kind of repair. He also told me that the landlord did not install the dishwasher line correctly (the white tube right above the black line is very low) and recommended this fixed by my landlord. I'm glad that Roto-Rooter is not a scammer like others in the region, and if I have another problem, I would definitely call them again.

I used this company twice in the past 5 years. Once to fix a toilet and once to replace a couple of faucets in my master bedroom. Both times the plumbers went out to purchase necessary parts and returned promptly and fixed the issues in a quick and efficient manner. They aren’t the cheapest in town but they definitely are the quickest and most reliable. And for me, that’s all the matters.

Full line replacement sounded like a crazy idea but it had to be done! Kitchen, laundry, bathroom line (toilet main) sink/tub, everything had to be replaced and Miguel Hernandez and Alain did a fantastic job!! Excellent professionals, completed all work in less time than expected and even though it is a very messy job, they left everything the cleanest possible! I’m very happy with the results and couldn’t be happier that I got these guys to do the job. Thank you Miguel and Alain.

A call was made to unclog pipes just after 9 am and calls were made from the office every hour for a few hours to advise a technician would be en route. The calls stopped at 11:30, so we were just waiting idly for someone to show up. Hours later a call was received and a technician showed up shortly thereafter. Actually, two technicians showed up (Miguel and Yansi). They were nothing short of professional and knowledgeable. Miguel was training Yansi, but they were both an asset as they helped to determine the source of the clog and clear it up. The issue was corrected and tips for the future were shared so that we wouldn't be in the same predicament any time soon. On May 15, 2019 we encountered great difficulty in clearing drains at one of the Air B & B properties. We contacted Roto-Rooter and Fabian # 2689 arrived 45 minutes later. Very professional and courteous. He assessed the situation and decided on a method to attack the clog. The initial attempt failed and a backup method was quickly identified and utilized. He came completely prepared with a contingency plan, It was successful. He worked non-stop under pretty warm conditions here in South Florida. I am extremely pleased with the service provided. Though the plumber seem like a very nice man and very cordial and a good listener and compliant wearing shoe covers but I was disappointed by the following:Service too expensive to clean a kitchen drain. It cost me $525, oh yeah and was told it didn't include tax or trip charge. Duh, that's calculated in the fee. I felt it was a misogynist statement because I was a woman, I wouldn't know any better not to test his workmanship.After this review was posted I immediately was called back from the Supervisor who was a great listener and understood what my husband and I experienced and will use this as a coaching moment with employee. He also corrected the 30 day warranty given to renters to 60 day warranty given to homeowners that we are. Something that was never asked of us by the plumber or if he did was incorrectly put on the receipt given to us.The Supervisor restored our faith in the company with another benefit to the service cost. Where to begin? I had a major issue on Father's Day, and two other plumbers stood me up. I have no idea why I didn't call Roto Rooter first but going forward they will be my first call. Hector arrived at 10 PM, within the window I was given, and despite it being his day to celebrate with his children he not only did an excellent job but soothed my anxiety assuring us this would be fixed and it was. In addition he was as quiet as possible (I had a sleeping baby in the house) and warned me when his machine would make noise in case the baby woke up. I can go on praising the excellent service. Please call them first, do not waste your time with other people and companies expecting to save a few bucks.

I ran into hiccups the whole way through my roto rooter experience. The first day, apparently the service tech arrived, didn't call me, and left without even coming on site. I was home and waiting for him — he came back after another appointment but by that point I waited 4 hours for his arrival.TLDR after scoping the drain with a camera via the toilet line, the team reattached the toilet without considering the placement of the door to the bathroom. It's a small half bath — they reattached the toilet such that the door was trapped and couldn't swing shut. That is how I would illustrate my entire experience of working with them: disappointing.

I would absolutely recommend this company. They were professional from start to finish. The young lady, Eli, who took my call was extremely professional, compassionate and helpful. Then, both the person sent to evaluate the leak as well as the plumber showed up during the time frame that I was given and they were also very courteous and professional. It turned out, thankfully, that the problem was not as serious as I had feared, and the plumber, Robert, fixed the leak and changed out the pipe fixtures right away. I was very pleased with his work, and he was very careful not to make a huge mess and cleaned up once he was done. So far, there is no sign of any more leaking. The service is guaranteed for 1 year, but hopefully it won't be necessary.

This was expensive, I paid $550 for the work, when you call the operator they don't know the prices or anything. No email was sent with the estimate everything through text messages of pictures of a price table I did not know where they were from. After follow up with Customer Service and the local office, the company granted me a credit for part of the work and they mentioned they will train their staff so this does not happen again. Therefore I was please with the outcome.

Top quality but you pay for it. It was almost $600 to get my shower drain unclogged. Now…I will say, it’ll probably stay unclogged for the next 5 or 10 years Lol. The guy said there were 2 very serious buildups one at 10ft and one at 15ft ! according to where the snake was meeting heavy resistance. Said that takes half a decade possibly a decade to build up like that.All in all super pro, they’ll 9/10 times get your issue fixed. But be ready to shell out some cash. I used it cos it had been months plural trying home remedies and dealing with water that didn’t drain for 45 minutes after every shower.Also, they’ll probably be late, so do it on a day where you’ll be at home all day anyway. Do not expect them to show up on time

well not sure where to Start I have work order for april/4 between 8am and 12pm so 1.30 I called them and the girl who answered told me oh we were just going to call you. and let you KNOW that we are running late. and replied what happen to my scheduled work order. well will get some one to you by 5pm and we will call you to let you know. 5 came and gone I called at 6pm yes we are running late and still no phone calls from ROTO ROOTER I am making all the calls. we will get some one there before 7pm. well 7pm came and gone I call at 8.30 pm and she says we can get someone there by Midnight and say hello no. I am going to sleep service is terrible. they rescheduled me for today. between 8am and 12pm. so this morning when I got up I called and told I will not go through the same ordeal of yesterday. and then they called me at 08:45 and said they have a technetian will be here at 09:15 am and sure enough at 09:30 I got a guy. and he told they never told him that I was waiting since yesterday. they just gave him a new work order for today. so I gave him a copy of the order I made online. so so much for ROTO ROOTER......Get your scheduling on Track. its not a good way to do Business but its Miami...SAD

After waiting for over 3 hours for someone to show up (when we were initially told someone was on the way and would be here within the hour), the plumber showed up and gave a quote of $483 to fix a clogged kitchen sink, a price over 2x the next guy that came and fixed the problem in under 15 minutes. Nice try guys.

Erick(5408) was an excellent, professional and very knowledge technician. He resolved my issue quickly and walked me through repair process.

They didn't give a free estimate (there was a troubleshooting fee), and the guy didn't call me back to let me know what the problem was after I explicitly told him to and he said he would. Instead, he looked at the water heater for a few minutes, asked my girlfriend for the payment and left without completing the work. $120 for a 20 minute check of the water heater, 10 minutes of which was spent by him going back downstairs to get his tools.

The night of Thanksgiving the plumbing in my home backed up in 2 of the bathrooms. The timing couldn't have been worse. I had family in town for the holidays. I went on-line at 12:30 a.m. and requested service first thing in the morning. I was lucky to have Aaron Suarez (tech #2394) show up at 9:30. He immediately diagnosed the problem and pulled the toilet out of my master bathroom and ran a snake to break through the blockage. He said that the problem may happen again and the right thing to do was to have a clean-up valve put in the front of the house and do a high pressure water cleaning of the pipes. He did not pressure me to do the service. 2 days later, the line was blocked again and I called Aaron and I authorized him to do the service as previously mentioned. He arrived at my home at 9:00 a.m. It was a tough job as he had to dig down 4 feet in the front of the house to find the main pipe leading into the home. He had another technician (Rafael #3619) join him at 11:00 a.m. to assist him. They eventually found the main pipe, did the high pressure water service to clear out the lines and then ran a snake into the pipes with a camera to show me that the pipes were very old and there were some cracks in it. Eventually I will have to replace the pipes, but he did not pressure me to do it. He explained what needed to be done. Aaron and Rafael finished the job and left my home at 6:00 p.m. Although the job was bigger than Aaron expected, he stuck to his original price that he quoted at the beginning of the job. Another great save by Roto-Rooter. What we thought might be thousands in water repair turns out to be faulty toilet valve. They performed a thorough water leak inspection. Both technicians where courteous and practiced social distance the whole time they were on the property. I have used them before and will continue to use them for any future plumbing needs.

They sent me a plumber after 5 hours wait (but said he'd be here in 2) when he finally arrived he gave us a quote, we agreed to it and said he is going to the car to bring his tools but disappeared for more than two hours. What a joke this company is.

I have a unit in Miami Florida that needed a Simple Shower head change, i wouldn't mind doing it myself but im located in Boca. So its an hour drive and i don't mind spending to have something repaired. So first day i scheduled was on the 13th of January 2021. They notified me the only time they had was between 10Am and 2 PM. I accepted the proposal on the time and went on my way, around 1:30 pm i receive a call We are running behind it may be another hour. So my tenant waits another hour, after that hour they called again Sorry we are behind we will be there within the hour. So we wait and wait again , so around 5 pm the tech called the tenant and said they should be there in an hour. So around 9pm my tenant reaches out and notifies me they didn't come. So it comes to the next day the 14th of January and i reach out to the company, so apparently they changed my time to the 14th between 10 am and 2pm. I Said that's fine and i understand, so after 2pm passes i call them and ask them the issue , the front desk lady says Sorry i was about to call you and let you know we are behind. I would of appreciated that call around 10-11 am instead of 2pm after my scheduled time lapsed and forcing me to reach out to you.Overall they didn't do work for me so i can't say the do a bad job , but what i can say is that they are horrible on scheduling and or updates. Don't put me on the Schedule if aren't able to work around the times you gave me, it's just very disrespectful and ruins a persons day. Now my tenant has had 2 days where she had to sit in the apartment because of something i told her that was notified to me by Roto Rooter.

The main pipe of my new home got clogged at 1 AM in the morning! Water started to come out from all toilets and sinks. Called Roto-Rooter and an hour later I had Marlon working hard on fixing my problem. Immediate response from Rotor Rooter. Jerry and his partner came early the next day. My home is a 1926 bungalow and It had one of those huge gas water heaters encased and mounted on the exterior of the home. They knew exactly what to do to replace it with a tankless electric water heater and also removed and took the gas water heater and all the debris as well. I had tried three other companies and they were either the same in price but couldn’t come until days later or were more expensive. I chose Rotor Rooter and would call them again! All in all, Jerry and his fellow technician were excellent and worked tirelessly until their work was completed.

An excellent job was done by the crew, but several holes (uneven ground) Plus plenty of rocks were left behind. Now I have to hire a landscaper to get this back to normal. I didn’t expect this extra expense!
