Recently I had a leak coming through our kitchen ceiling, I called two plumbers and they couldn’t find it! I called Dade County Leak detection and they found the leak in minutes and cleaned up all the water damage! I would definitely use them again!

My husband and I would highly recommend Roto-Rooter. We discovered water in our home on a Friday night and when I called (hoping to get a person not a machine) I spoke to a customer service rep who helped me right away! Terrible experience with Island Plumbing. I’m the property manager for several units at the Brickell area and this has been the worst experience I’ve had with a vendor in the last 20 years. It all started when they had me waiting in the lobby for three hours. I was told someone would call me when the plumber was onsite. No-one ever called me. So finally I called them and they told me the plumber was done with the job. I immediately went up to the tenant occupied unit and my tenant told me that, yes someone came but he didn’t really explain what was the issue. Since we have a leak that is affecting the unit underneath, I went to the unit below to see if the plumber had gone there to see what was the problem. The tenant of that unit, who had also been waiting for three hours, told me that no one ever came by and showed me her damaged ceiling. So I called Island Plumbing for an answer. They said the plumber would call me ASAP. It’s now been three days and over 15 unresponsive phone calls since that plumber went to check the leak and I’ve yet to hear back from them. Needless to say we still have a leak!

Beware! These are not real plumbers. Not licensed. Not insurances. They took our money and never finished the job and then never refunded us. Don’t make the same mistake we made.

*They came to our home, put holes in our walls, ripped out a toilet and created leaks across the valves in our house, and then just left us….without hot water to add to insult. I cannot stress this enough stuff, do not hire these people. I would give them a zero star if that was an option. We will be filing complaints with the Better business bureau, the city and DBPR.
