I called roto rooter to have a 32 year old water heater removed and a new one installed . Not only did Kat and hector show up on time but they showed up ready to work . They redid all the old plumbing with new copper , replaced my water shut off valves , and cleaned up after themselves as well within an hour or so I was ready to go . Couldn’t be happier . I would recommend Kat and hector to anyone who needs a plumber .

These guys are great. Friendly plumbers with competitive pricing. Very responsive to call and texts. Often asks for photos of the problem in advance so they know what to expect when they get on site. Absolutely no problem recommending them.

Ramon was the ultimate professional and even gave me a courtesy window by offering to show up a day earlier to take care of a malfunctioning toilet and clogged bathroom sink. He promised there would be no additional fees for showing up on the weekend which was a plus. I was impressed with his promptness, showing up on-time, his professionalism, in immediately pinpointing the issues, and the courtesy shown. I will definitely refer him to family and friends as well keep him on speed-dial.lol

Had a broken pipe in the house With a bad water leak. The owner Mike took care of it and mitigated the incident immediately. He did a great job.

We were waiting over a week for a different plumbing company to show up but they canceled on us 3 hours after the time they were supposed to show up to our Paraiso building in downtown.

I called our buildings management office and they recommended island plumbing. After calling the company we had a tech here within an hour. Super polite and didn’t mind waiting while the building was figuring everything out at the receiving dock.

Unlike the previous company that quoted us 6 hours and all these parts we might need since they were discontinued from when our building was built.. island plumbing finished everything under 2 hours charging fraction of the price quoted by another company.

We are very happy with the services we received and will make sure to recommend this company to our entire building.

The owner Steve is a very professional! I called and explained my issue and he gave me 3 different DIY solutions. I called back several times and he answered right away while giving me great advice! Beware! These are not real plumbers. Not licensed. Not insurances. They took our money and never finished the job and then never refunded us. Don’t make the same mistake we made.

*They came to our home, put holes in our walls, ripped out a toilet and created leaks across the valves in our house, and then just left us….without hot water to add to insult. I cannot stress this enough stuff, do not hire these people. I would give them a zero star if that was an option. We will be filing complaints with the Better business bureau, the city and DBPR.
