I've had work done in my house before by plumbers that didn’t hold up and I’ve had to have it redone! Once the faucet leaked all over my kitchen and ruined the floors and cabinets! The only plumber I trust to do it right the first time and not over charge me is 4 Lakes Plumbing! Steve will tell what you need and what you don't need along with the prices up front and they never charge a trip charge! I love that they are a family run company. It shows in how well they take care you. We recently had them fix our shower faucets because the house we moved into had old ones that whenever anyone turned on the water in any other faucet or flushed the toilet, the shower would go ice cold and then scalding hot in a matter of seconds. We have a family of 6 who all take showers in the morning so this was crippling our morning routine! 4 Lakes fixed it in an hour and came out as soon as my schedule allowed, first thing in the morning before work! They are awesome and I will never use any other plumber again!

Prompt, professional, fair, and honest- we had help with piping and called them for a second job he even took the time to call and make sure it was something he could help us with instead of making a trip out of here and charging for it. So, what you need to understand is we're on our third whole house remodel. And up until now we've done all the work ourselves. But sometimes you just NEED a professional. I discovered my water heater was leaking, and could not remember who installed it so I phoned Robert's Plumbing and Heating since they're right in my neighborhood. I had an inspection within an hour. After having trouble dealing with the warranty on my current water heater, I called Robert's back. They were able to help me with the warranty and are coming back to replace my water heater tomorrow morning! It's my Christmas Miracle! :-)

Ok folks! Plumbers are expensive. No getting around it. You youngsters out there who don't mind getting their hands dirty should consider this as a career choice. But anyway, theses guys are good! Ken and Luke arrived on time and got right at it. They replaced 2 outdoor spigot's quickly and put in the newer no freeze type. This is a 70's house and all the plumbing is a bit sketchy. I had another plumber do a majority of the work when I renovated this house and he wasn't as good. I'll hire these guys next time I need a plumber!

We thought we had a leaking water heater that was not that old. I called Lorentz, left a message and he called back. I described the problem, he helped me check a few things and told me what to watch for so we could confirm whether or not the heater was leaking. It turns out, the water was coming from a plugged humidifier drain hose, causing the humidifier to leak where the drain hose connected to the humidifier drain. Lorentz's instructions were clear, helpful and he was pleasant to speak with.

Our shower handle was leaking into the tub. Nothing big, just wasting water as it dripped. We finally decided to get this fixed after a couple months. My wife called Butler plumbing and asked them to come over to fix the leak. That's when they made a bad problem worse.

Their plumber came over and determined that our shower valve cartridge was the culprit. Unfortunately it was an outdated model so he couldn't replace it. He decided the next step was to put everything back together and seal up our fixtures - no more leaking into the tub. Problem is he never fixed the actual problem. The way to fix the problem was to replace the entire shower valve. Sure it cost more - but that was our only option.

Now instead of water leaking into our tub, we had water leaking behind our walls and down into our kitchen. Luckily we are doing some kitchen work and I had an area of the ceiling open. 6 hours after he left we had dripping water into our kitchen.

When I confronted Butler plumbing on their failure to properly fix the leak, their response was - Your wife told us to fix a leak, not replace the shower valve. My wife works in IT. She's not a plumber. She shouldn't have to diagnosis a plumbing problem. Butler failed. So unless you know exactly what you need done - don't expect Butler plumbing to go the next step to actually fix the problem. In our case, all they did was hide it.

To anyone that says Butler plumbing is a good value, ask yourself - did they actually fix the problem or is it just hidden from view?

To be fair - they did come out the next day after I demanded they fix the leak the right way...

We have used them several times, and they have provided outstanding service, and done their work quickly and professionally. They are the top of my list whenever I have plumbing issues.
