Update, new technician came out and inspected the work and assured me the connection was done using industry standards. I appreciated the response from the Company.
Replaced hot water heater. Okay experience. Does not look like the connection to the chimney was professionally done. Left dirty boot marks over kitchen floor.

In and out in under an hour, he fixed the problem explained what he did, extremely nice, very professional. If I have any plumbing problems arise in the future he'll be the guy I call first.
