I have been using Gibson’s for 8 years now. I have become irritated with them now since they can’t seem to make me a definite service call date. They call and tell me they have to bump me. And today’s appointment was a no show for 8AM.

AC decided to die on a Friday afternoon JUST before record heat hit LBB that Saturday AND my in-laws were arriving in town for the weekend because of COURSE! Why wouldn't it die then?! :-)

Called Turner & Witt late on a Friday and their receptionist answered the call and was friendly and kind (despite it being after 5pm). She was also up-front and direct about the extra cost associated with weekend calls--which I really appreciated. We decided to gut out the heat and call again on Monday. D and Joel arrived on time, figured out that the motor on the unit was dying and had it fixed in under 2hrs for under $250 parts/labor.

D and Joel were both incredibly professional and kind as they chatted with me and my partner as they diagnosed the issue with our unit.

Would absolutely do business with Turner & Witt again--though I do hope the timing on any future AC failure is better!

My original appointment was scheduled on Friday I never heard from them and after 8 on I received and email from the warranty company that I was rescheduled for the following Monday between 7am and 11. The called and said they’ll be by after lunch, but showed up at 3 and only took pictures of parts needing to be replaced. They finally came the next morning to replace my faucet and stated if I wanted one that matched I’d have to go purchase it or they could go and I’d have to pay the difference. I stated to them that would have been nice to have known the day before and I could’ve done so. I was switched around so much it inconvenienced me trying to find someone to be at my home in between me working myself.

Fast appointment. Friendly staff. Very happy to explain issues. Job done quickly. You feel confident they've done a good job!

1-10-16 Horrific!!! Mr Rooter Lubbock- I went online requested that my lines are snaked from roof access to drop off point in alley. they sent a lazy man over who wouldn't get on roof and went to the overflow in back yard with a HAND CRANK device! of course he mentioned. The lines will AT some point need to be replaced. Yeah Yeah dude I got bridge to sell you too! I called the company while this person was in the yard hand cranking and got lip service from dispatch manager that if his guy says that's all he needs in the yard then I back him up. Bunch of crap! Right after the technician left my washing machine backed up into my dishwasher and both sides of kitchen sink and I paid $124 for NOTHING but disrespect, and waste of my time!!! I have only owned this house for 11 years so I kind of know what needs to be done. VERY RUDE VERY DISRESPECTFUL when I asked for a refund for getting the shaft. Do YOU all get paid to do NOTHING?? The best HVAC contractor I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with a lot. I was struggling through the years to find the a reliable and prompt air conditioning and heating contractor that can do all kinds of jobs and repair at affordable price the AC units.
