We’ve had the misfortune of needing plumbing and then water heater repairs in consecutive weeks. However, in both cases A1 was here and done within a day. The service men were nice, professional and very good at their work. We’re very happy to recommend A1

Good honest people to deal with. Every time I have used A1 plumbing i have been extremely pleased.

We used A-1 plumbing several time and the people that show up to the house are extremely nice and knowledgeable.

I received a call and within an hour they were at my home and had made the repair within 30 minutes. They were fast and friendly. I use a home warranty service and reported the claim on Saturday. By Monday at 9:30 it was completed. The people at A1 plumbing were friendly and efficient. I will certainly call them again.

Clancy did a fantastic job in diagnosing the problem and going step by step to resolve it. I think Landon was his helper and he did a great job also. Very friendly and seemed truly concerned about getting everything right..

Warranty company chose A-1 plumbing to work on my plumbing. My appointment was scheduled a week ahead, the day of we did not get a call of a delay or that noone would be coming. The least they could have done was call.

A-1 made every attempt to fix my 8 year old water heater including running to parts store twice. But in the end it had to be replaced. They brought me up to code, at a cost, but it needed to be done and they did a great job. I am satisfied with the work, the polite technicians, and the service I received with them..

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE SCAMMERS!! We had this company with warranty and they were absolutely the WORST to deal with!! Unprofessional and rude and every time we tried calling, they would ignore our calls! We finally had to call from a different number for them to pick up the phone!!! Pleaseeeeee go with someone else! Save yourself your sanity! They will drive you crazy!!!

John is the absolute GOAT!!! Really an outstanding technician who was knowledgeable and caring.

They got the water heater change-out done in a timely manner with code additions in place. They did not completely replace the heater beside it over the return air hole. They also did not remount the condensation pump shelf that they had to remove to make room for the water heater to be placed in the closet.

Shane was able to come by the same day I called. My toilet wouldn’t flush. He repaired it, and it worked great. A second issue was to replace a shower arm. He had the knowledge and skill to take care of my plumbing issues. I am very pleased with his service.

I had a gas leak and have heard horror stories about the length of repairs! Mike and A-1 were amazing from calling on a Sunday to make sure I didn’t need repair right then and there, to getting out to the house as soon as they could in that Monday! He talked me through every step of the way as a new home owner a lot of things are new to me and was a huge help!! Definitely using them again!

Exceptional service during the current freeze. Offered to come over at no charge to shut off water due to a frozen pipe. Followed up to make sure we were thawed and that the pipes were in good condition.

I was a bit concerned due to the amount of negative reviews, but I had a rather positive one. The work was done well, quickly, and they cleaned up after themselves.

They don't answer their phone or return calls. I wonder if they are still in business.

I've used A-1 plumbing several times over the past few years and they've always been very fast quick good prices and the technicians are always friendly. The best part besides the best price is that they schedule you fast and they text and call you when they are on their way.

This is the second time we've used this business. The first time our home warranty company called them to fix 2 leaks. They were great. They showed up on time, fixed the leaks and were out of here in record time. We ask them to give us a quote to install/repair out continuous hot water. Their quote was more than $100 less than the previous quote we had received from another very reputable plumbing company. Again, the service was good. We were told the procedure might not fix the problem, but he would come back and go a different route if it didn't work. I was concerned that my husband paid in full that day. My concerns grew when the procedure did not work. The good news is, A-1 returned as soon as possible, like they said they would, and went the more time consuming and more expensive route without charging us a dime. This company will be the first one we call for any future needs.

A1 Plumbing is tops in my book! And less expensive than other plumbers. I highly recommend them!

Dee and her apprentice came out on a holiday because we had no hot water. They tried all they could to get it working but it turned out that we needed a new hot water heater. They changed it outfor us in a timely manner and they were very courteous.

Cody arrived ahead of the schedule time. Was very nice and cleaned up after completion of installation.

We had a ceiling leak in our dining room. I was really scared because they told me it wouldn’t be until 3-5pm before they could come by but luckily they’re fastest plumber Scott was sent and he got here at 12:40! He is such a professional and very knowledgeable plumber!

We needed repairs done to our shower, called A-1 plumbing and received quick professional service. We are very happy with the quality of service from A-1.

Drain pipe for washing machine backing up called A1 Logan showed up on time. Very professional, personable and mature immediately. Went to work. We have a home warranty and when we put our service request it was sent to another company that was unresponsive so they reasigned it to A-1. I wish they would have sent it to A-1 to begin with. They had excellent customer service and were able to get us taken care of. They had everything they needed to get the job done. The hot water heater needed to be replaced so it was not able to be done that day. They worked with the warranty company to get our water heater replaced. They were very polite and professional. No spills or trash left behind.

These guys went above and beyond! They have completed two projects at our house now with great precision, leaving the space better than they found it. They are timely courteous and make good conversation. I am so glad they were the ones taking care of our kitchen sink garbage disposal and our bathroom sink. 11 out of 10 would recommend.

Have came out 3 times to fix a leaky bathtub faucet and install a new shower piece with handle that leaks and shouldn't leak, plus been trying to call them for a week and a half throughout the day and no answer or callback

Had a water leak in front yard to the city's main line. They took care of the leak in a speedy and professional manner. Will call on them again if needed.

We went through our home warranty and had Lubbock A-1 Plumbing assigned to us. They called and setup an appointment for the next day, and Josh and David were the technicians who arrived. Both of them were very professional, and Josh answered all of my questions and never beat around the bush about the issues with the water heater. They were efficient and got it replaced quickly for us.

Josh was amazing. He updated me about every detail even if it was minor. Got my water heater replaced and done fast. Very professional knowledgeable and kind. Very adamant about cleaning up his mess when he was done. Highly recommend this company for any and all plumbing issues.

Excellent service, polite, very helpful

They inspected my water leakage and arrived at the conclusion that they had no clue. Instead of actually doing their jobs and finding the source of the problem, they decided that my home warranty didn't cover actual work on their end and took the money from the warranty and left my plumbing still leaking. I had to call another plumber and let them fix it. Would highly recommend looking elsewhere for any plumbing needs, and if your home warranty says they are the ones handling your plumbing repairs, you're kind of screwed.

Everything in my house was backed up, and the guys came and did a great job getting it unclogged. WOULD RECOMMEND!!😌👍

Went through my home warranty for a constantly running toilet. Got scheduled for an appointment in a timely manner. Logan was our service guy. He communicated his arrival time well with me, listened to what all needed to be fixed and fixed it quickly and efficiently. He was also super nice to my very people friendly dog and that was much appreciated :)

Terrible customer service! We were forced to deal with this plumber because of our warranty company. They received the authorization for service from our warranty company the same day we called in the service and told us they would try to squeeze us in before the end of the day so we could have hot water for my 70-year-old mother to take a shower at night if they received the authorization before 5 pm. Their office received the authorization at 4:50 pm that same day. This was confirmed by Emily the following day. But they did not pass it along to their tech, Josh, and he did not call them back to check. When I confronted them about this the next day, their response was to demand full payment of $545 before they would complete the work installing the new water heater. This was for Code Modifications and Suggested Upgrades that were not covered by the warranty. When I questioned Josh about this practice he said it was because I had called the office to complain and that I had reported the techs for leaving my home with parts of my existing water heater. I offered to pay them half upfront and the remainder after the job was completed satisfactorily. Josh refused to accept and stated his office demanded full payment even though they left my current system disconnected, see attached photos, and did not return the missing parts until confronted. Josh threatened to leave if the amount was not paid in full before they completed the work. I upped my offer to $345 upfront with the remaining $200 paid when the work was completed. They refused and drove off with the new water heater in the back of their truck. I highly recommend you avoid this company and any others that demand a full payment upfront. I will not be using A1 Plumber of Lubbock or American Home Shield for any of my home or business services.

I have used other plumbers but none have been as good as A-1 PLUMBING. I did not comment on price because I used a home warranty so I don't know about that. But the service, time and everything else was great and way better than others I have used. I do highly recommend them.

I highly recommend using A-1! My home warranty scheduled A-1 to unclog my kitchen drains. Logan was my service person, and he was very communicative on his arrival time; he listened to me explain the problem; and he went the distance to find the solution. Logan had a great attitude and manners while being on my property!. A-1 will definitely be my first call for any future repairs.

I contacted the home warranty company for assistance with a gurgling island kitchen sink that seemed to be caused by the previous owner's misuse of the sink. Unfortunately, the first plumber they sent was unable to identify or address the issue. He had never seen a vent loop for a island sink. Even though I explained the concept of a loop vent, the plumber appeared to be inexperienced and took pictures to consult with his superior, who also could not identify the issue and was not familiar with a vent loop for an island sink. The plumber eventually made up an excuse and left without doing anything.

The lack of plumbing knowledge and expertise of the first plumber was concerning, I am not a licensed plumber but was aware of how a loop vent worked. This experience left me frustrated, and I decided to call another plumber. The second plumber quickly diagnosed and repaired the issue by snaking the drain, leaving no further problems.

Overall, my experience with the plumber was unsatisfactory. I was disappointed with the plumber's lack of knowledge and inability to solve the issue, and it was a waste of my time and effort. I would have expected the plumbers dispatched by the company to be experienced and knowledgeable, but unfortunately, that was not the case in this situation.

Scott did a great job repairing my faucet in master bathroom. The faucet in my sons bathroom had to be replaced. He went and got a new one and was back quickly to install it. Cleaned up the mess and was super nice! Will definitely use them again!

Once our technician, Jason, arrived he found the location of our underground leak quickly. He was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The price was very fair.
My only criticism is the several day waiting time until he could be sent. Overall, very happy with the price and service provided.

The gas company detected a gas leak on my property and called A-1. Mike came right out and in 2 trips figured out where the leak was. He established a temporary line to maintain service to water heater, then the next week , a crew came and tied my system back together. There were no unnecessary piping done, which saved me money.
