Mr Rooter Plumbing

Called after 1:00p dispatch said they would have someone out this afternoon and had not heard back by 4pm. Called back and left message and Shawn called back and had J at the house within the hour and he did a great job. Had a backed up sewer.

This is a great bunch. It's always a pleasure to serve them! Polite, professional, and courteous.

We have used Tully Kerr (now Mr. Rooter) for over 15 years for minor repairs as well as major work. Employees are kind, helpful, and courteous. Recently, while the employee couldn't get out the same day for a repair issue, he called us after hours to both offer to come out after hours, as well as ensure we had a working bathroom. They were at our house the next morning. Tully has integrity himself, and his company stands behind their repair work. Wouldn't use anyone else.

They worked on my sewer several years ago and did the worst job I have Ever seen!!! They cut a place out of my porch on my patio that was about 7' by 3' and did an absolutely HORRIBLE JOB covering the cement back up. They literally ruined my patio and it would cost me thousands of dollars to repair the damage they did. On top of that, they put all the cement they cut out in My trashcan from my garage. They broke the handles on my trashcan where they tried to pick it up to take it out. So, what did they do?? They left my trashcan on my patio with cement all in it. I am a single woman and can't pick up the 50 lb trashcan. Years later and it is still on my patio. They did take one huge slab of cement out to the alley, where they dumped it by my fence. It is still there. I called afterwards to complain and all they said was no one by the name I told them worked there. They did not offer to help fix this at all. Yet, I sure am still paying them the $5000 they did for this total nightmare and slop job. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy!!! Attached are the photos of the sewer that was placed in my patio. (which previous sewer was in my yard not patio). I did call Synchrony Bank and they stated they paid Mr. Rooter $5400 in August 2016. They are sending me the envoice and contract. The synchrony Bank that I am STILL paying for this job is under my roommates name, which is why you may not think you did the job. I have left several messages for the owner this week with no return call.

Mr. Rooter of Lubbock is definitely my first choice when it comes to plumbing services in Lubbock. I had a leak in the plumbing of my fish pond and thankfully I was able to get an appointment super fast. Shawn, Reuben and Blaine were able to identify where the leak was and how to fix it quickly. They were friendly and professional. Thanks Mr. Rooter of Lubbock I'm going to save money on my water bill now!

Do yourself a favor and go to a local place. Called three times: 1st time the plummer simply didn't show up when he said he would (meaning I waited at my house the whole 3 hour window he told me to wait for him), the last two times the person who answers the phone (in the corporate office somewhere other than lubbock) promised to connect me with their dispatch in Lubbock and never did so. This is a massive corporaton where treating the customer right is of no concern. Go with the local business options.

If I could give a rating of a 0 I would. This company is NOT professional at all. The so called manager/owner was rude and unwilling to hear your concerns/story. I had trouble with my overflow drain the garage backing up. They ran a camera and found a crack in the main line out to the city. Paid $3000 for them to replace the entire line. They said that this was the cause of my problems. Asked the tech to send me pictures he took from the camera try ran and never did. A month later the exact same thing happened. I have continued to have issues with my main line backing up. Had another company come out, Sinclair, and they found that the line had been poorly done and there was a disconnect at one of the connections. Do NOT use this company. I know there are always two sides to a situation but this company is ridiculous!

Big time scam artists

1-10-16 Horrific!!! Mr Rooter Lubbock- I went online requested that my lines are snaked from roof access to drop off point in alley. they sent a lazy man over who wouldn't get on roof and went to the overflow in back yard with a HAND CRANK device! of course he mentioned. The lines will AT some point need to be replaced. Yeah Yeah dude I got bridge to sell you too! I called the company while this person was in the yard hand cranking and got lip service from dispatch manager that if his guy says that's all he needs in the yard then I back him up. Bunch of crap! Right after the technician left my washing machine backed up into my dishwasher and both sides of kitchen sink and I paid $124 for NOTHING but disrespect, and waste of my time!!! I have only owned this house for 11 years so I kind of know what needs to be done. VERY RUDE VERY DISRESPECTFUL when I asked for a refund for getting the shaft. Do YOU all get paid to do NOTHING?? Me either!!! :( See pics of what I paid $124 for!

After waiting a couple days for someone to come out, two guys showed up to fix our garbage disposal. After working for an hour and charging 250$ they claimed they fixed it- our fault for not testing in front of them. As soon as they left, we tested and immediately knew it didn't. We called back and they said they could come out the next day. After I called back and demanded they come back and fix it that day, they hung up on me. Very rude and argumentative, a waste of money.

Customer service is great and the technicians are incredibly helpful

Called Mr. Rooter to have a clog in my kitchen sink fixed. They said that they would be out between 3 and 5pm. This was on a Friday. We received a call Friday at 5:15pm from the technician saying that he could not make it out that day, but could be out first thing in the morning. The next morning he showed up at 9:15am and as soon as he walked in the door he let out a sigh and told my wife that it would be $124. She said fine. He went to the kitchen sink and placed the stopper in and filled one side with water. Then ran the disposal. I came over and introduced myself to him and he said this is going to be a minimum of $124. I said that would be fine. I then told him that since this is an older house that most of the time they have to snake out the plumbing port on the roof. He again quoted the minimum price and said that there is only a 50/50 chance that he could clear the pipe and stated that we would have to pay regardless. I agreed. After thinking about the fact that he had just admitted that he may not even be able to fix it I walked outside as he was about to remove his ladder and told him that if you can not fix it then I will just call someone who can. He said okay and put his ladder back on his truck and I told him to have a nice day and walked back inside. I called Mr. Rooter and asked for a manager, the guy that they sent me to which ( will not use his name in this) was very respectful and I told him that the technician had called us the day before to reschedule and explained what happened when he came out. He seemed upset that the technician had rescheduled and didn't get to us the day before and told me that he would call me back. I never heard back from him.

BEWARE! This is a terrible plumbing company with unbelievably high rates. They charge per service of $119 for everything that they do. If they have to run a cable through one drain...$119 dollars, if they have to run cable to another drain...another $119. That is ridiculous. I had a bathroom drain clogged and they ran cable through my house's MAIN drain, charged me for it, claimed that it was unclogged, and left. I checked the drain to my sink, toilet, and shower immediately after he left, and the water was still backed up! I called back immediately after he left, and the plumber told me if he was going to come back, that he would charge me another $119 to take out the toilet to unclog it from there! If you didn't unclog the drain in the first place and charged me for it, I consider that a scam and terrible business practice. I spoke with a manager over at Mr. Rooter and he was being extremely rude about the situation as well. He told me if the plumber was to go back out there, that they would charge again. I told him how can you charge me for a service they did not complete? He kept reiterating that they have to charge for every service that they do. I felt extremely disappointing with Mr. Rooter so I called a different plumbing company, Jay Young Plumbing. The Jay Young Plumber literally took 30 minutes to run cable through the shower vent of the bathroom and PRESTO it was done. He charged me $85 for the service and was gone. Everything works perfectly now. The bottom line is, stay far away from Mr. Rooter.

The Driver was an hour late and wanted a coupon for the service. I found a $50 coupon and he accepted the coupon then he did not accept the coupon when the service was complete. Horrible customer service

My water heater warranty required a licensed plumber to install the unit. Placed a call and had Shawn from Mr. Rooter out first thing the next day, he very quickly performed an accurate estimate at less then is common for this job (learned from online research) did an amazing job and worked very quickly. Mr. Rooter will be my first call for any further work on my home. Very good experience.
